SB 2420 - I have no idea what to do.
I recognize that Apple has put out documentation on how to do things with the new Age APIs, but I have no idea what my apps are supposed to do to be in compliance with this law. Most of the law sounds like it applies to App Store developers like Apple, more than it pertains to individual app devs. If the age rating of an app changes, wouldn't we just put it in App Store Connect and have Apple disable those apps on the devices of the underage kids?

The default message configured through the Retention Message API is not displayed to users
Hello, I have a problem with the Retention Message API. The default message is not displayed to users when they try to cancel their subscription in the device's Settings app. The API configuration was made with Revenue Request. The request to use this API was approved by Apple for our account. After configuring it for the Sandbox environment, everything worked as expected the image and text were displayed to users. Later, I applied the same configuration to the Production environment. I received the Approved status for the message, but after purchasing the subscription from the App Store, although I can see the subscription in Settings, the retention message is not displayed when I attempt to cancel it. I have tried different Apple accounts from different regions (both EU and non-EU) and tested from physical locations without using a VPN. Also, for clarification, we do not use real-time communication only the default retention message. For additional information: I also tried configuring this message from App Store Connect, as shown in WWDC 2026, but this section is not available under the Subscriptions category. When I deactivate and then reactivate the message, I notice that the deactivated state shows the text status "Waiting for sync (0/9)", while the active state shows "Approved". All other assets have an Approved state. In my case, the message is configured for all subscription types without any filters or other restrictions. What could be causing this problem, and how can I fix it? It seems that the issue is not on my side.

No response from Apple Developer Support – how to proceed?
Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue with the App Store review / support process and would really appreciate some guidance from others who may have experienced something similar. I have contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times regarding my app, but unfortunately I have not received any meaningful response so far. At this point, I am unsure how to move forward or how to get proper feedback to resolve the issue. The lack of response is making it difficult to proceed with my app submission and address any potential problems on Apple’s side. Has anyone encountered a similar situation? How did you successfully escalate the issue? Is there a specific way to get a response from the review team or developer support? Any advice on how to move forward would be highly appreciated. Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam .. Has anyone received this message
Hi has anyone had there app rejected for Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam? my app is a cyber security app which has a VPN and I had this rejection message.. the reasoning was very vague and i am unsure what this means.. I had submitted an appeal and also replied to the reject message but have had no response for over a week. anyone had this and if so, how did you resolve ?

Xcode 26 – Organizer does not show “App Store Connect” for watchOS standalone app (only Release Testing available)
Hello, I am trying to upload a watchOS standalone app to App Store Connect using Xcode 26.3, but Organizer does not show the “App Store Connect” upload option. It only displays: • Release Testing (Ad Hoc) • Enterprise • Debugging Project setup • Target type: watchOS App (standalone, not companion) • PRODUCT_TYPE = com.apple.product-type.application • PRODUCT_BUNDLE_PACKAGE_TYPE = APPL • WRAPPER_EXTENSION = app • SUPPORTED_PLATFORMS = watchos watchsimulator • Archive configuration: Release • Base SDK: watchOS The app does not depend on iOS. Bundle ID Originally: com.example.app.watchkitapp Recreated as: com.example.app HealthKit capability enabled in: • Developer Portal • Xcode (Signing & Capabilities) Signing • Apple Distribution certificate active • App Store provisioning profile created • Manual signing configured for Release (Apple Distribution + App Store profile) • Also tested Automatic signing • Deleted old Ad Hoc profiles • Cleared Derived Data and regenerated archive App Store Connect • App created successfully using bundle ID com.example.app • Account role: Account Holder • No pending Agreements, Tax, or Banking items Despite a valid Release archive signed with Apple Distribution, Organizer only allows Ad Hoc distribution and never shows “App Store Connect”. Transitioning to performance-based pricing (Stripe) & removing legacy StoreKit subscriptions
Hello everyone, We have a SaaS product and are currently transitioning our business model. Previously, we used a standard recurring subscription model implemented via StoreKit 2 in our iOS app. Recently, we changed our pricing to a performance-based model, where we charge a percentage fee based on the user's specific usage and performance. On our web platform, we use Stripe to calculate and accept these dynamic percentage-based payments. I have two questions regarding this transition for our iOS app: Payment Gateway: Since our new pricing model is a variable, performance-based percentage rather than a fixed subscription, does Apple allow us to integrate Stripe directly into the iOS app to process these payments? The service provided is digital. Removing Old Subscriptions: We have completely commented out all StoreKit code in our app build since we are no longer offering those plans. However, we cannot find a "Delete" option in App Store Connect to remove the old subscription items. What is the proper way to completely remove these from our app's backend and store listing? Any guidance on the best way to handle this transition and remain compliant with App Review would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Google Search is indexing my App Store link in Chinese instead of my Primary Language or English
Hi everyone, I recently launched my app, when searching for the app on Google, the official App Store link that appears in the search results is from the Chinese App Store. My app's primary language is correctly configured in App Store Connect, and I would naturally expect the search result to display in that primary language, or at least default to English. Has anyone else experienced this issue where Google indexes the wrong regional App Store page (e.g., pulling a Chinese localization instead of the global or primary one)? Is there a specific setting or metadata in App Store Connect I need to double-check to force the correct locale, or is this purely a Google crawling anomaly that usually resolves itself over time? TESTFLIGHT: The requested app is not available or doesn t exist
Hello, I created an app using the latest version of Xcode (16.2), and I'm having a problem testing this app on my iPhones. I created this app just like all the others I've made for my clients, including one on (03/24/25), but when I went to upload another App to App Store Connect on (03/26/25) I couldn't test it on my phone. Points to consider: The app runs perfectly on the Emulator. All my terms and agreements with Apple are up to date. I tried to download the apps through Testflight on 2 different devices, iPhone 7 Plus (iOS 15.8.1) and iPhone 15 Pro Max (iOS 18.3.2), and I was unsuccessful in neither attempt. I can send my app to the internal testers, but when I click download, the following message appears: Could not install [APP NAME]. The requested App is not available or doesn't exist. I imagine this problem is with Apple itself, I have already contacted support, but I need to resolve this urgently for my customers. Has anyone experienced this and resolved it?

TestFlight install fails: “The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist” (Internal testing)
Hi all, We can’t install our app from TestFlight. The app is visible in TestFlight for invited internal testers, but tapping Install fails immediately with: “The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist.” --Setup-- Distribution: TestFlight – Internal Testing Internal group created and testers added (invite accepted) Build processing status in App Store Connect: Complete TestFlight build status shows: Ready to Submit / Prepare for Submission Minimum iOS deployment target: iOS 15.0 Version/Build: 1.0.0 (1) What we tried Confirmed tester is signed into TestFlight with the same Apple ID email that was invited Removed/added testers to the internal group and resent invites Reinstalled TestFlight, signed out/in Verified build is assigned to the internal group Set and saved Monetization → Pricing and Availability → App Availability (All Countries/Regions) Question Has anyone resolved this issue? Is there a known TestFlight/App Store Connect stuck state that causes this error even for internal testing? Any recommended steps (new build number, group reset, availability/pricing settings, etc.)? Screenshots available (TestFlight error + App Store Connect build/group view). Thanks.

screenshot and apps preview in the appstore. What are all the possibilities and best practice?
So I know apple store connect are strict in term of your app screenshots, you cannot insert some promotional video and you cannot insert any screenshot that does not come from an iphone or official simulator. But I saw earleir someone's app with a screenshot that was like "MOCK" type, it has some 2 sentence description on top and below them the actual screenshot (on a phone simulation mockup lets say). This got me thinking that apple store connect actually tolerate images that are not PURE screenshots? You can actually take screenshots insert them to mockup and then insert that image in app store connect? How to do that and more importantly what to do to make sure it is done in a way apple store connect accepts it? What others things can be done, or best practices?

Pending Termination Appeals Process doesn't work
The appeals process for when your Apple Developer account is in Pending Termination status doesn't work. The re-instate developer account form is very clear it shouldn't be used if it's pending. But the form for "I would like to appeal an app rejection or app removal" which is the correct form for pending state. Gives the error "There are no apps associated with this team." we do have apps associated. There could be thousands of developer accounts that weren't able to file an appeal correctly because of this bug. "If you would like to appeal this termination decis ion to the App Review Board, you must do so within 30 calendar days. When submitting your appeal, be sure to select "I would like to appeal an app rejection or app removal" from the drop-down menu on the Contact the App Review Team page and provide a written statement that includes the following:" Apple is very clear which to use.

Changing app icon displayed in App Store
Hi Guys, I have searched however unable to find an answer, and as I am new to app development, I am seeking help. So I have developed an app which is sensitive and I don't want the App Store to show its real icon on the store, as it will compromise victims. I would like to show a different icon on the App Store however retain the icon attached to the app, which has been approved. I would also like to edit the images displayed on the App Store, I have currently removed it from the store as I do not want to compromise the app. so can I change the icon app displayed in the App Store, and also edit the example images that I have sent when the app was reviewed , thanks in advance.

Unable to upload app after App Transfer – ITMS-90076 Team ID mismatch (Keychain access issue)
Title: Unable to upload app after App Transfer – ITMS-90076 Team ID mismatch (Keychain access issue) Body: Hello, I am experiencing an issue when uploading an iOS app after an App Transfer between two developer accounts. Current situation: The app has already been transferred to a new Apple Developer Team The app appears correctly under the new team in App Store Connect The Bundle Identifier remains the same I am building the app using the new Team's Apple Distribution certificate A new App Store provisioning profile has been created for the new Team However, when attempting to upload via Xcode Organizer (Distribute App → App Store Connect → Upload), the upload fails with the following error: ITMS-90076: Possible loss of keychain access. From my understanding: The previous app versions were signed with the old Team ID The new build is correctly signed with the new Team ID This seems to indicate that although the App Transfer is complete from a UI perspective, the App Store backend still compares against the previous Team ID. Questions: Is this expected behavior immediately after an App Transfer? Is there any required step to fully synchronize or refresh the app’s Team ID internally? Should it be possible to upload successfully after transfer without changing the Bundle ID? Is there a known delay or internal process before uploads from the new Team are accepted? Additional info: Xcode version: [your version] Newly created archive after transfer Certificates and provisioning have been recreated under the new Team Any guidance or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Error accessing the app page by not IOs devices
I have an app published on the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/junto%24/id1563846408) and, if someone accesses this URL from a device other than an iOS device, for example, a Windows computer with Chrome, a Linux machine with Chrome, or even an Android device, the page doesn't work. Access only works on iOS devices. I tried accessing URLs from other apps to check if it was a general problem, but the problem only occurs with my app's URL. Example of a working URL: https://apps.apple.com/br/app/juntos/id6449265641 My URL: https://apps.apple.com/br/app/junto%24/id1563846408 One difference is the "%24", which is the "$" in the code automatically inserted by Apple, and that's not the problem, since I can access the page on iOS devices. When I access my app's page through a search on the App Store, I can access the page, but if I refresh the page (F5), it stops working again. My app is public and all countries available. Why does this happen?

App stuck in "Waiting for Review" for a long long long time, expedited review request no response
Hello everyone, Our app has been stuck in the "Waiting for Review" status in App Store Connect for an unusually long time. We have already submitted an expedited review request, but we have not received any response by email, and the app status has not changed. We would like to know if this may indicate that the review process is stuck, or if there is any action required from our side in App Store Connect. App information: Apple ID: 6756758769 Bundle ID: com.tajian.nxcrush SKU: NX_CN_2025 Current status: Waiting for Review We have checked App Store Connect and did not see any rejection, metadata issue, missing export compliance issue, or action item that requires our response. App Store Connect "Save" fails silently on the version page — error icon, no message, "Add for Review" stays greyed out
On the iOS App Version page in App Store Connect, clicking Save shows an exclamation-mark error icon on the button, but no error message or field-level validation appears anywhere on the page. The Add for Review button stays greyed out, so I can't submit. This happens on every new version. What I've verified: •⁠ ⁠Build is attached and shows "Validated" in TestFlight, no warnings or compliance issues •⁠ ⁠All required metadata populated: Description, What's New, Keywords, Support URL, Marketing URL, Copyright, Version, Sign-In Information (working credentials), Contact Info •⁠ ⁠Export compliance answered •⁠ ⁠Release set to "Manually release this version" •⁠ ⁠Screenshots present for iPhone 6.5" (same assets that worked on a prior version) •⁠ ⁠Media Manager shows no warnings on any size •⁠ ⁠Account has the Account Holder role •⁠ ⁠Reproduced in Chrome (latest) and in Incognito Observation: on clicking Save, the screenshots section briefly refreshes/reloads, then the error icon appears on Save. No other error is surfaced anywhere. Current workaround: my engineer uploads the build directly from Xcode to App Store Connect, which lets the version through - but the web Save/submit path is broken on every release. Question: what validation is failing here without being surfaced in the UI, and how do I get the web Save/submit flow working so I don't have to fall back to a manual Xcode upload each release?

Trader / DSA verification stuck "In Review" since June 8, app approved but cannot release
Dear App Review and Developer Support Team, Our app, CraftOS (Apple ID 6757652683), was approved and is set to release automatically, but it still cannot go live. The reason appears to be the trader status / DSA verification, which has shown "In Review" since June 8, 2026. We submitted all requested information from our individual developer account, and everything on our side appears complete and correct. Even so, the verification has not progressed for over a week, which keeps the already approved app from being released. Could you please clarify: Is there a specific reason for this extended hold on the trader / DSA verification? Is any further action or document required from our side? When can we expect the verification to be completed so the approved app can be released? We have already contacted Developer Support about this (case 102914821768), but have not received a reply in three days. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Difference in Company Name and App Name
Hi everyone, I am currently enrolling a company in the Apple Developer Program as an Organization and would like to clarify something regarding company names and app branding. For example: Legal Company Name: PT Digital Solusi Nusantara App/Product Name: LaundryHub The legal entity name and the app brand are different, as the company may own and operate multiple products under different brands. Would there be any issues during the Apple Developer enrollment process or future App Store submissions if the app name is different from the legal company name registered in the Apple Developer account? Has anyone successfully published apps under a brand name that is different from their registered legal entity name? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Refund old IAPs
My app is being wound down and I'd like to provide a way for people who have purchased the lifetime subscription to get a pro-rated refund. But it seems like older IAPs don't show up on https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ and the in-app refund sheet throws an error when trying to process these refunds ("Your request could not be submitted"). In the in-app refund sheet: Am I doing sth wrong or is this expected behavior? Is there any way I can get a refund for these people? What's the specific cutoff for refunds?

Is there a known TestFlight/App Store Connect stuck state that causes this error even for internal testing? Any recommended steps (new build number, group reset, availability/pricing settings, etc.)? screenshot and apps preview in the appstore. What are all the possibilities and best practice?
So I know apple store connect are strict in term of your app screenshots, you cannot insert some promotional video and you cannot insert any screenshot that does not come from an iphone or official simulator. But I saw earleir someone's app with a screenshot that was like "MOCK" type, it has some 2 sentence description on top and below them the actual screenshot (on a phone simulation mockup lets say). This got me thinking that apple store connect actually tolerate images that are not PURE screenshots? You can actually take screenshots insert them to mockup and then insert that image in app store connect? How to do that and more importantly what to do to make sure it is done in a way apple store connect accepts it? What others things can be done, or best practices?

Pending Termination Appeals Process doesn't work
The appeals process for when your Apple Developer account is in Pending Termination status doesn't work. The re-instate developer account form is very clear it shouldn't be used if it's pending. But the form for "I would like to appeal an app rejection or app removal" which is the correct form for pending state. Gives the error "There are no apps associated with this team." we do have apps associated. There could be thousands of developer accounts that weren't able to file an appeal correctly because of this bug. "If you would like to appeal this termination decis ion to the App Review Board, you must do so within 30 calendar days. When submitting your appeal, be sure to select "I would like to appeal an app rejection or app removal" from the drop-down menu on the Contact the App Review Team page and provide a written statement that includes the following:" Apple is very clear which to use.

Changing app icon displayed in App Store
Hi Guys, I have searched however unable to find an answer, and as I am new to app development, I am seeking help. So I have developed an app which is sensitive and I don't want the App Store to show its real icon on the store, as it will compromise victims. I would like to show a different icon on the App Store however retain the icon attached to the app, which has been approved. I would also like to edit the images displayed on the App Store, I have currently removed it from the store as I do not want to compromise the app. so can I change the icon app displayed in the App Store, and also edit the example images that I have sent when the app was reviewed , thanks in advance.

Unable to upload app after App Transfer – ITMS-90076 Team ID mismatch (Keychain access issue)
Title: Unable to upload app after App Transfer – ITMS-90076 Team ID mismatch (Keychain access issue) Body: Hello, I am experiencing an issue when uploading an iOS app after an App Transfer between two developer accounts. Current situation: The app has already been transferred to a new Apple Developer Team The app appears correctly under the new team in App Store Connect The Bundle Identifier remains the same I am building the app using the new Team's Apple Distribution certificate A new App Store provisioning profile has been created for the new Team However, when attempting to upload via Xcode Organizer (Distribute App → App Store Connect → Upload), the upload fails with the following error: ITMS-90076: Possible loss of keychain access. From my understanding: The previous app versions were signed with the old Team ID The new build is correctly signed with the new Team ID This seems to indicate that although the App Transfer is complete from a UI perspective, the App Store backend still compares against the previous Team ID. Questions: Is this expected behavior immediately after an App Transfer? Is there any required step to fully synchronize or refresh the app’s Team ID internally? Should it be possible to upload successfully after transfer without changing the Bundle ID? Is there a known delay or internal process before uploads from the new Team are accepted? Error accessing the app page by not IOs devices
I have an app published on the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/junto%24/id1563846408) and, if someone accesses this URL from a device other than an iOS device, for example, a Windows computer with Chrome, a Linux machine with Chrome, or even an Android device, the page doesn't work. Access only works on iOS devices. I tried accessing URLs from other apps to check if it was a general problem, but the problem only occurs with my app's URL. Example of a working URL: https://apps.apple.com/br/app/juntos/id6449265641 My URL: https://apps.apple.com/br/app/junto%24/id1563846408 One difference is the "%24", which is the "$" in the code automatically inserted by Apple, and that's not the problem, since I can access the page on iOS devices. When I access my app's page through a search on the App Store, I can access the page, but if I refresh the page (F5), it stops working again. My app is public and all countries available. Why does this happen?

App stuck in "Waiting for Review" for a long long long time, expedited review request no response
Hello everyone, Our app has been stuck in the "Waiting for Review" status in App Store Connect for an unusually long time. We have already submitted an expedited review request, but we have not received any response by email, and the app status has not changed. We would like to know if this may indicate that the review process is stuck, or if there is any action required from our side in App Store Connect. App information: Apple ID: 6756758769 Bundle ID: com.tajian.nxcrush SKU: NX_CN_2025 Current status: Waiting for Review We have checked App Store Connect and did not see any rejection, metadata issue, missing export compliance issue, or action item that requires our response. App Store Connect "Save" fails silently on the version page — error icon, no message, "Add for Review" stays greyed out
On the iOS App Version page in App Store Connect, clicking Save shows an exclamation-mark error icon on the button, but no error message or field-level validation appears anywhere on the page. The Add for Review button stays greyed out, so I can't submit. This happens on every new version. What I've verified: •⁠ ⁠Build is attached and shows "Validated" in TestFlight, no warnings or compliance issues •⁠ ⁠All required metadata populated: Description, What's New, Keywords, Support URL, Marketing URL, Copyright, Version, Sign-In Information (working credentials), Contact Info •⁠ ⁠Export compliance answered •⁠ ⁠Release set to "Manually release this version" •⁠ ⁠Screenshots present for iPhone 6.5" (same assets that worked on a prior version) •⁠ ⁠Media Manager shows no warnings on any size •⁠ ⁠Account has the Account Holder role •⁠ ⁠Reproduced in Chrome (latest) and in Incognito Observation: on clicking Save, the screenshots section briefly refreshes/reloads, then the error icon appears on Save. No other error is surfaced anywhere. Current workaround: my engineer uploads the build directly from Xcode to App Store Connect, which lets the version through - but the web Save/submit path is broken on every release. Question: what validation is failing here without being surfaced in the UI, and how do I get the web Save/submit flow working so I don't have to fall back to a manual Xcode upload each release?

Trader / DSA verification stuck "In Review" since June 8, app approved but cannot release
Dear App Review and Developer Support Team, Our app, CraftOS (Apple ID 6757652683), was approved and is set to release automatically, but it still cannot go live. The reason appears to be the trader status / DSA verification, which has shown "In Review" since June 8, 2026. We submitted all requested information from our individual developer account, and everything on our side appears complete and correct. Even so, the verification has not progressed for over a week, which keeps the already approved app from being released. Could you please clarify: Is there a specific reason for this extended hold on the trader / DSA verification? Is any further action or document required from our side? When can we expect the verification to be completed so the approved app can be released? We have already contacted Developer Support about this (case 102914821768), but have not received a reply in three days. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Difference in Company Name and App Name
Hi everyone, I am currently enrolling a company in the Apple Developer Program as an Organization and would like to clarify something regarding company names and app branding. For example: Legal Company Name: PT Digital Solusi Nusantara App/Product Name: LaundryHub The legal entity name and the app brand are different, as the company may own and operate multiple products under different brands. Would there be any issues during the Apple Developer enrollment process or future App Store submissions if the app name is different from the legal company name registered in the Apple Developer account? Has anyone successfully published apps under a brand name that is different from their registered legal entity name? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Refund old IAPs
My app is being wound down and I'd like to provide a way for people who have purchased the lifetime subscription to get a pro-rated refund. But it seems like older IAPs don't show up on https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ and the in-app refund sheet throws an error when trying to process these refunds ("Your request could not be submitted"). In the in-app refund sheet: Am I doing sth wrong or is this expected behavior? Is there any way I can get a refund for these people? What's the specific cutoff for refunds?
