WKWebView customUserAgent replaces system User-Agent with NetworkingExtension identifier on iOS 26.4
Reproduction Steps:a. Create a WKWebView instance and set a custom string to customUserAgent.b. Load any web page (e.g., https://example.com).c. Check the User-Agent field in the request headers via packet capture tools or Web Inspector. Expected Result:The custom User-Agent should be appended to the default system identifier (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 18_7 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15...), instead of being completely overwritten. Actual Result:The User-Agent is fully replaced with: NetworkingExtension/8624.1.16.10.6 Network/5812.102.3 iOS/26.4, and all basic system identifiers are missing. Additional Information: Device: iPhone 16 Pro Max iOS Version: 26.4 (Build 20T5127) WKWebView setup: Directly set using the customUserAgent property Network Extension features are not used in the project, but the NetworkingExtension identifier still appears in the User-Agent

`sysextd` rejects new `NEFilterDataProvider` activation with "no policy" on macOS 26 — despite valid Developer ID + notarization
I'm building a macOS network monitor using NEFilterDataProvider as a system extension, distributed with Developer ID signing. On macOS 26.3 (Tahoe), sysextd consistently rejects the activation request with "no policy, cannot allow apps outside /Applications" — despite the app being in /Applications and passing every verification check. I'm aware of the known Xcode NE signing bug (r. 108838909) and have followed the manual signing process from Exporting a Developer ID Network Extension. I've also tried both xcodebuild build and xcodebuild archive workflows — identical failure. For example, Tailscale's NEPacketTunnelProvider shows state: activated_enabled in the system extensions database — it was activated on a prior macOS version and is still running. Only new system extension activations fail. I've seen similar Tahoe-specific reports from LuLu (same NEFilterDataProvider type, Developer ID distribution): LuLu #825 LuLu #831 Questions Is this a known regression in macOS 26's sysextd policy evaluation for new Developer ID system extension activations? sysextd's policy check fails after all signature and trust evaluation succeeds. Is there a separate trust/policy path that sysextd consults beyond what spctl, codesign, and CodeSigningHelper verify? Is there anything else I should be checking? I have a sysdiagnose captured immediately after the failure, a minimal reproducer project, and full raw sysextd logs available on request.

TN3134 clarification: DNS Proxy Provider unusable without MDM on iOS?
Hi, I’m looking for clarification on TN3134: Network Extension provider deployment, specifically iOS deployment requirements for: packet tunnel provider DNS proxy provider From the documentation: Packet Tunnel Provider App extension (min iOS 9.0): per-app mode requires a managed device DNS Proxy Provider App extension (min iOS 11.0): supervised devices only App extension (min iOS 11.0): per-app mode requires managed devices Issue I implemented a DNS proxy using NEDNSProxyManager. Works as expected in debug builds on a local device Fails to configure when distributed via TestFlight Console Output (TestFlight build) error 10:05:39.872258-0500 nehelper The production version of *** is not allowed to create DNS proxy configurations. Use MDM to create DNS Proxy configurations for the production version of ***. Question Is it possible to distribute a DNS proxy provider for use on non-MDM / non-supervised devices? If not: Is the limitation strictly enforced at distribution/runtime? Is a packet tunnel provider the only viable alternative for App Store distribution? There is a lot of different VPN apps on the App Store that appear to work out of the box without MDM or supervision, which suggests they are using a different deployment model. Thank you for any clarification or guidance!

Text alignment issue in iOS 26.4
There appears to be a serious issue in iOS 26.4 regarding text alignment. All text strings are rendered right-aligned instead of left-aligned, even when explicitly setting the paragraph style to NSTextAlignmentLeft. This behavior is unexpected and seems to indicate a regression in text rendering. Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue in iOS 26.4? I am using the following code in a central function that has been working reliably for years across all my apps. Best regards, Rolf Code: NSMutableParagraphStyle* paragraphLeft = [[NSMutableParagraphStyle alloc] init]; if (paragraphLeft != nil) { paragraphLeft.alignment = NSTextAlignmentLeft; NSDictionary *settings = @{ NSFontAttributeName : font, NSForegroundColorAttributeName : fontclr, NSParagraphStyleAttributeName : paragraphLeft }; [theString drawAtPoint:CGPointMake(x, y - font.ascender) withAttributes:settings]; [paragraphLeft release]; }

No reply to my request to turn individual account to an organizational account
I've been trying for two weeks not to change my personal developer account to an organizational account, but I get zero replies from apple. I've tried through the developer site, I've tried through email, but I never get any response back. This is now blocking my app publishing, which is potentially hurting revenue... Anybody an idea how I can get a response?

Enrollment stuck on "Pending" after receiving invoice - normal timeline?
Hello everyone, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program and completed my payment this past Thursday on 9th April. I have already received the official invoice for the transaction. However, my account status is still showing as "Pending" on the developer portal, and I am getting an error when trying to log in to App Store Connect. Has anyone else experienced a delay like this recently? Since it's the weekend, I know support is closed, but I'm wondering how long it typically takes for an account to become fully active once the business week starts. Any insights into recent wait times would be appreciated!

Individual enrollment pending since April 6 — payment processed, no activation, no support response
I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an individual on Monday, April 6, 2026. The $99 payment was charged to my card and posted on April 7, 2026. I have bank confirmation of the charge. However, my account at developer.apple.com/account still shows "Pending" status and displays a "Purchase your membership — complete your purchase now" message, as if no payment was made. I have contacted Apple Developer Support three times through the official contact form: Tuesday, April 7 Thursday, April 9 Saturday, April 11 I have received zero responses to any of these emails. My Case ID is 102863102199. I do not want to click "complete your purchase now" as I've already been charged and don't want to be billed twice. Could someone from the Apple Developer team please look into this and activate my membership? I'm trying to launch my iOS app and this delay is blocking my entire submission timeline. Thank you.

Email Required for App review
My app requires Google or Apple login. The App Store requires an active email for review. How can the App review team access my email if it required 2FA? I don't understand how I can get an app reviewed it they need me to provide a code after they login? It seems ridiculous that I need to supply them with a test email, why can't they test with a dummy email? Is it just not possible to get an app reviewed if the app requires Apple or Google logins? Should I temporarily add the option for any email to setup an account and just make a dummy email and then after review asap remove the email login from the app? that seems like a lot of unnecessary programming just because they the need me to provide an email address and login.

SensorKit phone call/text message question
Hi, we have several clarification questions on how SensorKit collect phone call/text message data: when people use non-native apps, e.g. WhatsApp, to make calls or messages, will they be picked up as phone call or text message by SensorKit, or will they only be counted as app usage? When people react to a message by long-press the message and thumb-up/heart it, will it be counted as one outgoing message or not? If the incoming call is not picked up, will it be counted as one phone call or not? When people text within a group, will the unique number of contacts be 1 or the number of members in the group? Thanks! Yu

Widget layout issue: Unexpected padding/content inset on specific widget types
Hello everyone, I am currently developing a suite of widgets for my iOS app using SwiftUI and WidgetKit. While the initial widgets (let's call them Widget A, B, and C) render perfectly, I am encountering a strange layout issue with a new widget (Widget D). The Issue: On the Home Screen, Widget D appears to have an unwanted internal padding or "squeezed" content inset, even though it shares a similar structural implementation with the other functional widgets. Technical Details: I am using .frame(maxWidth: .infinity, maxHeight: .infinity) on the main container to ensure the content fills the available space.

How to achieve liquid glass button morph transition
Hi guys, I’m new on SwiftUI world. I wanted to ask how to achieve this kind of morph transition with ToolbarItem button just like the picture attached below. I have tried using Menu & confirmationDialog API but i didn’t achieve the same kind of looks here. Is there some kind of native API for this kind of transition? Thanks in advance guys 😁👍

CallKit automatically shows a system top toast after iOS 26, how to dismiss it?
I’m developing an iOS app that integrates with CallKit. Starting from iOS 26, I’ve noticed that the system automatically presents a top banner / toast-style UI when a CallKit call becomes active (see attached screenshot). This UI appears to be fully managed by the system. On iOS versions prior to iOS 26, this UI did not appear under the same CallKit configuration. What I’ve observed The banner is displayed automatically by the system It appears at the top of the screen, similar to a toast or call status banner It is not a view created by my app I could not find any public API or CallKit configuration related to dismissing or controlling it My questions: Is this top banner an intended system behavior change in newer iOS versions? Is there any public API to dismiss, hide, or customize this UI? If not, is this UI considered non-dismissible by design? Any clarification on the expected behavior or recommended approach would be greatly appreciated.

Webview without native exit
Hi there is a small extension to my existing app to open a webpage in a web view. The ux team want this webview full screen, relying on a close button loaded by the webpage to exit. No native top bar or control to close. my opinion is this isn’t resilient and could also fail AppStore compliance during submission. A user could get trapped in web view for a number of non happy paths. guidelines seem a little inconclusive but do others have experience of this concern that they could share? Could submission fail review?

Can third-party transit apps receive the NFC HCE entitlement in the EEA?
Hi everyone, I'm looking for clarity on the NFC HCE entitlement process for third-party apps in the EEA. I've built an alternative client for Milan's public transport app (ATM Milano) on Android by reverse engineering the original app. It offers the same core functionality(users still need a valid transit subscription) just with a different UI and better UX. I'd now like to port it to iOS. According to Apple's documentation, NFC HCE was opened to third parties in the EEA starting with iOS 17.4. However, the API requires an entitlement from Apple. I have a few questions: Is the entitlement required regardless of distribution method? Even if I distribute through a third-party marketplace like AltStore PAL rather than the App Store, do I still need Apple to grant the HCE entitlement? Are third-party/alternative clients eligible for the entitlement? My app isn't a competing transit provider, it's an alternative frontend for an existing service. Users must hold a valid subscription with the official provider. Is there anything in the entitlement criteria that would disqualify this kind of app? What's the correct process to apply?Developer Support directed me here, so I'm hoping someone from Apple engineering or someone who has gone through the process can share the steps. Thanks!

Appstore Connect Not Affecting Organizational Status — Senior Advisor Escalation Gone Silent — Case #102854501693
My support case has stalled despite being escalated to a Senior Advisor over a week ago with no follow-up or resolution. My application is being rejected from the App Store due to what appears to be a synchronization issue between apple.developer.com and App Store Connect. Full Timeline March 24, 2026 — My account migration from Individual to Organization was completed and approved by Apple. March 27, 2026 — My app (Version 1.0, Submission ID: 72b19231-8010-4844-b873-f2853d02092e) was rejected under Guideline 3.1.5 on an iPad Air 11-inch (M3). The rejection stated my app was submitted under an Individual account, which is not permitted for fintech applications. March 28, 2026 — I submitted a support request explaining the situation. April 6th, 2026 — I received a response from Developer Support, who acknowledged the issue and escalated it to a Senior Advisor. April 7, 2026 — I followed up via email as no Senior Advisor had contacted me. Today, April 13, 2026 — Still no contact from the Senior Advisor. App Store Connect still shows my account as Individual. Core Issue: When I go to apple.developer.com my account membership type is organization, with all relevant company details. However, my membership type in AppStore Connect still reflects an individual account. Such is demonstrated by an App Store review response: "Your wallet app facilitates the transmission and/or storage of a virtual currency but was submitted by an Apple Developer Program account registered to an individual, which is not appropriate for the App Store. Your app must be submitted through an Apple Developer Program account enrolled as an organization." What I Need A manual update of my Appstore Connect membership type such that it correctly reflects my Organization account status; allowing me to resubmit my app. Relevant details: Case Number: 102854501693 (screenshots of issue provided in case details) If any Apple staff can help escalate this internally or advise on next steps, I would be incredibly grateful.

XCTest Bundle cannot access local network.
We’re having an iPad issue accessing the local network with iPadOS 26.3. We have an automation system that tests our app on an iPad using accessibility tags. the XCTest test code sends messages from the iPad via TCP/IP to setup external test equipment. The messages abruptly stopped transmitting across the iPad blood-brain barrier with iPadOS 26.3 (26.2.1 and earlier works fine). The technique that worked involved installing a helper app with the same bundleID as our app, allowing the helper app to access the network, and when our app runs it has network access through the helper. It’s clever and kludgey. Forums that we referenced in the past: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/663858 TN3179: Understanding local network privacy | Apple Developer Documentation I suspect that something was changed in 26.3 that closed our window. I need two things: ID what is different in 26.3 and fix the automation system. If there’s a new way for XCUITest code to access the local network I’m happy to try it out.

Thanks! Yu

Game Center Access Point does not appear on iOS 26 (Simulator)
Attempting to bring up the access point yields the following error log: [GameCenterOverlayService] Failed to create GameOverlayUI Dashboard Remote Proxy [GameCenterOverlayService] Could not create endpoint for service name: com.apple.GameOverlayUI.dashboard-service [GameCenterOverlayService] Failed to create GameOverlayUI Dashboard Remote Proxy [GameCenterOverlayService] Could not create endpoint for service name: com.apple.GameOverlayUI.dashboard-service [GameCenterOverlayService] Failed to create GameOverlayUI Dashboard Remote Proxy [GameCenterOverlayService] Failed to create GameOverlayUI Dashboard Remote Proxy The same code (which is a single line setting 'active' to true) works on physical devices and on the simulator in iOS 18.6 I haven't been able to find any mention of this issue online. Any suggestions or help greatly appreciated.

KDK for recent MacOS Sequoia versions (15.6, 15.7RC)
The most recent KDK for MacOS Sequoia that appears in the Downloads is for MacOS 15.5 (24F74), but the current version of MacOS Sequoia is 15.6 (24G84) and 15.7 (24G207) is in RC. Is there an ETA for the KDKs for 15.6 (24G84) and 15.7 (24G207) to be made available to download? Many thanks for any help.
