Apple developer Enrollment bug
I created an new Apple developer account, completed enrollment by finalizing the payment and uploading my Passport, yet there has not been any correspondence or approval since 8 days and the dashboard still shows I need to complete the payment to enroll, while I have a transaction in my bank account and received the invoice+confirmation. Not getting any response via phone or email contact. Where can I reach out / what can I do? It's quite annoying as we're losing momentum.

The APNs delay to send notification on iOS 26.4
In my VoIP app, we use StartRing and StopRing via VoIP push to my app. But recently, I found some disordered VoIP notifications, my VoIP app received the StopRing push before the StartRing push. The StartRing took abunt 6s to send and the StopRing took about 1s. So I guess there is an issue in the APNs part on iOS26.4. We saw there is a peak after iOS26.4 and iOS 26.4.1 than old iOS versions. Thanks.

iOS 26: Interactive sheet dismissal causes layout hitch in underlying SwiftUI view
I’ve been investigating a noticeable animation hitch when interactively dismissing a sheet over a SwiftUI screen with moderate complexity. This was not the case on iOS 18, so I’m curious if others are seeing the same on iOS 26 or have found any mitigations. When dismissing a sheet via the swipe gesture, there’s a visible hitch right after lift-off. The hitch comes from layout work in the underlying view (behind the sheet) The duration scales with the complexity of that view (e.g. number of TextFields/layout nodes) The animation for programmatic dismiss (e.g. tapping a “Done” button) is smooth, although it hangs for a similar amount of time before dismissing, so it appears that the underlying work still happens. SwiftUI is not reevaluating the body during this (validated with Self._printChanges()), so that is not the cause. Using Instruments, the hitch shows up as a layout spike on the main thread: 54ms UIView layoutSublayersOfLayer 54ms └─ _UIHostingView.layoutSubviews 38ms └─ SwiftUI.ViewGraph.updateOutputs 11ms ├─ partial apply for implicit closure #1 in closure #1 │ in closure #1 in Attribute.init<A>(_:) 4ms └─ -[UIView For the same hierarchy with varying complexity: ~3 TextFields in a List: ~25ms (not noticeable) ~20+ TextFields: ~60ms (clearly visible hitch) The same view hierarchy on iOS 18 did not exhibit a visible hitch. iOS 26 UITabBar Layout Glitch: Custom Appearance vs. Liquid Glass Effects during Rotation
Hello, I am encountering a UI layout issue on iOS 26 where UITabBar items become squashed or overlapping during device rotation (from Portrait to Landscape). This glitch occurs specifically when a custom UITabBarAppearance is applied. 1. "Liquid Glass" and UITabBar Customization According to TN3106, Apple states: "Starting in iOS 26, reduce your use of custom backgrounds in navigation elements and controls. While the techniques in this document remain valid for iOS 18 and earlier, prefer to remove custom effects and let the system determine the navigation bar background appearance. Any custom backgrounds and appearances you use in the navigation bar might overlay or interfere with Liquid Glass or other effects that the system provides, such as the scroll edge effect." Does this guidance also apply to UITabBar? Specifically, could setting a custom background color via UITabBarAppearance interfere with internal layout constraints required for the Liquid Glass effect to adapt correctly during orientation changes? It appears that the internal UIStackView may fail to recalculate width in time when these system effects are active. 2. Custom keyboard extension left edge detecting touch after a second.
I'm creating a custom keyboard extension. So as a result, there are buttons which are pinned to the left edge of the keyboard. (Think of q key as an example). The logic of the key presses go something like this: Button detects a touchDown event and shows the magnified text which you normally see in system keyboard when tapping a key. Button detects a touchUpInside/touchDragOutside event and the magnified text disappears, again very similar to the system keyboard. This logic worked for all the buttons which were not pinned to the left edge of the keyboard. But for the buttons that were pinned to the left edge, the touchDown events were being detected after a second. So you can see this is obviously bad because I want to see the magnified text right after I place my finger on the button. WHAT I TRIED AS AN ALTERNATIVE: I removed all the touchDown, touchUpInside and touchDragOutside events from the button and disabled all their user interaction. Then I implemented to touches functions(touchesBegan, touchesEnded, etc.) and observed the touch locations on the background view. Surprisingly, even in this case, the touchesBegan function was called after a second after I placed my finger on the left edge of the screen and as usual, the touchesBegan function called just fine in the rest of the screen. NSFileSandboxingRequestRelatedItemExtension: Failed to issue extension
Hi there, I have an SwiftUI app that opens a user selected audio file (wave). For each audio file an additional file exists containing events that were extracted from the audio file. This additional file has the same filename and uses the extension bcCalls. I load the audio file using FileImporter view modifier and within access the audio file with a security scoped bookmark. That works well. After loading the audio I create a CallsSidecar NSFilePresenter with the url of the audio file. I make the presenter known to the NSFileCoordinator and upon this add it to the FileCoordinator. This fails with NSFileSandboxingRequestRelatedItemExtension: Failed to issue extension for; Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=3 "No such process" My Info.plist contains an entry for the document with NSIsRelatedItemType set to YES I am using this kind of FilePresenter code in various live apps developed some years ago. Now when starting from scratch on a fresh macOS26 system with most current Xcode I do not manage to get it running. Any ideas welcome! EAWiFiUnconfiguredAccessoryBrowser "Accessory Setup" UI selects blank/null SSID by default
We've received several reports of a new bug while setting up our products with WAC. The Accessory Setup UI appears with a blank network selected and the message 'This accessory will be set up to join "(null)".' at top. The user can tap "Show Other Networks..." to select another network, but this experience is very confusing. Why does this UI present a choice that is known to be invalid when other valid choices exist? I've captured a screenshot and sysdiagnose from this case. In most cases this problem happens only intermittently, but I can reproduce it consistently by disconnecting my iPhone from any WiFi network (WiFi remains enabled). My suggestion for a better user experience is that this UI should select the default network according to these rules: The network to which iPhone is currently connected. Any network which is in the known/my list for this iPhone Any valid network I believe rule #1 is the existing behavior, but applying rules #2 and #3 as fallbacks would be an improvement. Is there anything I can change in my iOS code or in my accessory's WAC server to improve this experience?

Xcode 26.4 Editor UI Changes creating problems
Objective C projects, if that matters, but several useful editing features were removed, but the biggest issues relate to Storyboards. Action buttons were moved all around. Not sure why it was changed, as the new layout is not intuitive at all. Loading of storyboards is amazingly slow. It's been getting worse for several revisions, but it is really bad now. Connecting from the storyboard to code is non functional with this revision. Connections have to be done from the code to the storyboard only, which means all the code has to be done before storyboard changes. This is much less efficient for coding. Really dislike 26.4 editing changes. You are making our jobs harder, not easier.

NINearbyObject.direction always nil on iPhone 15 (U2) with NINearbyAccessoryConfiguration — intentional or bug?
I'm developing a spatial tracking app using a Qorvo DWM3001CDK (MFi-certified UWB accessory) with NINearbyAccessoryConfiguration. On iPhone 15 (iOS 26.3.1, second-generation UWB chip): supportsDirectionMeasurement = false NINearbyObject.direction is always nil NINearbyObject.distance works correctly (~63Hz) Camera Assistance (isCameraAssistanceEnabled=true) provides horizontalAngle only after ARKit convergence (~10s), and only while the phone is moving On iPhone 12/13 (first-generation UWB chip), direction works correctly with the same accessory. My questions: Is the removal of instantaneous direction measurement for third-party accessories on second-generation UWB devices intentional? Or is this a regression that will be fixed in a future iOS update? If intentional, what is the recommended approach for apps that need real-time direction to a UWB accessory on iPhone 15/16? Camera Assistance requires phone movement and only works with stationary targets, which doesn't work for our use case (tracking a moving object with the phone mounted on a gimbal). Are there any plans to provide instantaneous direction measurement for NINearbyAccessoryConfiguration on second-generation UWB devices? Sim Card unique Identification
I would like to enable the app to persist a stable SIM identifier and compare it across app sessions so it can reliably detect when the user has changed SIM cards. When a SIM change is detected—especially while the device is on Wi-Fi—the app should trigger SIM-change handling (for example: refresh auth/session, reload account-specific data, and update feature availability). The implementation must be robust for: Dual-SIM and eSIM devices Temporary network unavailability or delayed carrier info Current challenge: On Wi-Fi, the existing hash can distinguish a different operator but cannot reliably detect a SIM-card-level change. We need a way to uniquely identify the SIM card itself, not just the operator.

Extended Runtime API - Health Monitoring
In the WWDC 2019 session "Extended Runtime for WatchOS apps" the video talks about an entitlement being required to use the HR sensor judiciously in the background. It provides a link to request the entitlement which no longer works: http://developer.apple.com/contect/request/health-monitoring The session video is also quite hard to find these days. Does anyone know why this is the case? Is the API and entitlement still available? Is there a supported way to run, even periodically, in the background on the Watch app (ignoring the background observer route which is known to be unreliable) and access existing HR sensor data

Setting alternate app icon fails with "Ressource temporarily not available"
Switching alternative app icons previously worked in my app and I did not notice when it broke. However now the completion handler consistently returns this error if feeding with either an existing app icon name or a fictional one. Is this a regression I should file a bug report for or am I doing something wrong here? Enrollment Pending for 9 Business Days-Request for Update!

HomeKit support on MacOS
I am currently developing an app for MacOS that needs to control HomeKit devices like lights. However, it seems like MacOS is supported on the official documentation, but not when I try to create an app ID on developer.apple.com. On the link https://developer.apple.com/apple-home/, MacOS is clearly showed as supported for MacOS. But when I try to create an app ID, it shows that it is only compatible for iOS, VisionOS and WatchOS. Could this be clarified? Best regards, orangeidle25

No Renew button (membership)!
We had a work card attached to our developer's account. team ID 924RUYJZ34 dev ID 8771bf7b-31a9-4602-baae-02580fe5b6c4 Funds are debited from this card in other services, there are no problems with it, the amount in the account is sufficient. Our membership subscription did not renew automatically. The applications are blocked. We can't renew our subscription, there's no Renew button anywhere. There is no way to extend it on any device, web version, or anywhere else. We can't even cancel and re-arrange it, all the functions don't work. Please help us, how can we renew our subscription?!

Xcode 26.x Frequently Freezes During Breakpoint Debugging with Simulator
When I use Xcode 26 (0.1, 1) for debugging and hit a breakpoint, using "step over" causes the debugger to freeze at a random line of code. Clicking "Pause program execution" indicates that the line is being executed, but the breakpoint never exits, seemingly causing a freeze. The application on the simulator also becomes unresponsive. However, when I do not use breakpoints, my program runs smoothly, and debugging on a physical device does not cause any freezes. This issue only occurs with the simulator. I am using Xcode on Apple Silicon, and due to some third-party SDKs that depend on Rosetta, our app can only run on the Rosetta simulator. We did not encounter this issue when using Xcode 16.x for simulator debugging. The current situation with Xcode 26.x significantly reduces our development efficiency. What could be causing this, and is there a solution?

Apple developer Enrollment bug
I created an new Apple developer account, completed enrollment by finalizing the payment and uploading my Passport, yet there has not been any correspondence or approval since 8 days and the dashboard still shows I need to complete the payment to enroll, while I have a transaction in my bank account and received the invoice+confirmation. Not getting any response via phone or email contact. Where can I reach out / what can I do? It's quite annoying as we're losing momentum.

The APNs delay to send notification on iOS 26.4
In my VoIP app, we use StartRing and StopRing via VoIP push to my app. But recently, I found some disordered VoIP notifications, my VoIP app received the StopRing push before the StartRing push. The StartRing took abunt 6s to send and the StopRing took about 1s. So I guess there is an issue in the APNs part on iOS26.4. iOS 26: Interactive sheet dismissal causes layout hitch in underlying SwiftUI view
I’ve been investigating a noticeable animation hitch when interactively dismissing a sheet over a SwiftUI screen with moderate complexity. This was not the case on iOS 18, so I’m curious if others are seeing the same on iOS 26 or have found any mitigations. When dismissing a sheet via the swipe gesture, there’s a visible hitch right after lift-off. The hitch comes from layout work in the underlying view (behind the sheet) The duration scales with the complexity of that view (e.g. number of TextFields/layout nodes) The animation for programmatic dismiss (e.g. tapping a “Done” button) is smooth, although it hangs for a similar amount of time before dismissing, so it appears that the underlying work still happens. SwiftUI is not reevaluating the body during this (validated with Self._printChanges()), so that is not the cause. Using Instruments, the hitch shows up as a layout spike on the main thread: 54ms UIView layoutSublayersOfLayer 54ms └─ _UIHostingView.layoutSubviews 38ms └─ SwiftUI.ViewGraph.updateOutputs 11ms ├─ partial apply for implicit closure #1 in closure #1 │ in closure #1 in Attribute.init<A>(_:) 4ms └─ -[UIView For the same hierarchy with varying complexity: ~3 TextFields in a List: ~25ms (not noticeable) ~20+ TextFields: ~60ms (clearly visible hitch) The same view hierarchy on iOS 18 did not exhibit a visible hitch. iOS 26 UITabBar Layout Glitch: Custom Appearance vs. Liquid Glass Effects during Rotation
Hello, I am encountering a UI layout issue on iOS 26 where UITabBar items become squashed or overlapping during device rotation (from Portrait to Landscape). This glitch occurs specifically when a custom UITabBarAppearance is applied. 1. "Liquid Glass" and UITabBar Customization According to TN3106, Apple states: "Starting in iOS 26, reduce your use of custom backgrounds in navigation elements and controls. While the techniques in this document remain valid for iOS 18 and earlier, prefer to remove custom effects and let the system determine the navigation bar background appearance. Any custom backgrounds and appearances you use in the navigation bar might overlay or interfere with Liquid Glass or other effects that the system provides, such as the scroll edge effect." Does this guidance also apply to UITabBar? Specifically, could setting a custom background color via UITabBarAppearance interfere with internal layout constraints required for the Liquid Glass effect to adapt correctly during orientation changes? It appears that the internal UIStackView may fail to recalculate width in time when these system effects are active. 2. Custom keyboard extension left edge detecting touch after a second.
I'm creating a custom keyboard extension. So as a result, there are buttons which are pinned to the left edge of the keyboard. (Think of q key as an example). The logic of the key presses go something like this: Button detects a touchDown event and shows the magnified text which you normally see in system keyboard when tapping a key. Button detects a touchUpInside/touchDragOutside event and the magnified text disappears, again very similar to the system keyboard. This logic worked for all the buttons which were not pinned to the left edge of the keyboard. But for the buttons that were pinned to the left edge, the touchDown events were being detected after a second. So you can see this is obviously bad because I want to see the magnified text right after I place my finger on the button. WHAT I TRIED AS AN ALTERNATIVE: I removed all the touchDown, touchUpInside and touchDragOutside events from the button and disabled all their user interaction. Then I implemented to touches functions(touchesBegan, touchesEnded, etc.) and observed the touch locations on the background view. Surprisingly, even in this case, the touchesBegan function was called after a second after I placed my finger on the left edge of the screen and as usual, the touchesBegan function called just fine in the rest of the screen. NSFileSandboxingRequestRelatedItemExtension: Failed to issue extension
Hi there, I have an SwiftUI app that opens a user selected audio file (wave). For each audio file an additional file exists containing events that were extracted from the audio file. This additional file has the same filename and uses the extension bcCalls. I load the audio file using FileImporter view modifier and within access the audio file with a security scoped bookmark. That works well. After loading the audio I create a CallsSidecar NSFilePresenter with the url of the audio file. I make the presenter known to the NSFileCoordinator and upon this add it to the FileCoordinator. This fails with NSFileSandboxingRequestRelatedItemExtension: Failed to issue extension for; Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=3 "No such process" My Info.plist contains an entry for the document with NSIsRelatedItemType set to YES I am using this kind of FilePresenter code in various live apps developed some years ago. Now when starting from scratch on a fresh macOS26 system with most current Xcode I do not manage to get it running. Any ideas welcome! EAWiFiUnconfiguredAccessoryBrowser "Accessory Setup" UI selects blank/null SSID by default
We've received several reports of a new bug while setting up our products with WAC. The Accessory Setup UI appears with a blank network selected and the message 'This accessory will be set up to join "(null)".' at top. The user can tap "Show Other Networks..." to select another network, but this experience is very confusing. Why does this UI present a choice that is known to be invalid when other valid choices exist? I've captured a screenshot and sysdiagnose from this case. In most cases this problem happens only intermittently, but I can reproduce it consistently by disconnecting my iPhone from any WiFi network (WiFi remains enabled). My suggestion for a better user experience is that this UI should select the default network according to these rules: The network to which iPhone is currently connected. Any network which is in the known/my list for this iPhone Any valid network I believe rule #1 is the existing behavior, but applying rules #2 and #3 as fallbacks would be an improvement. Is there anything I can change in my iOS code or in my accessory's WAC server to improve this experience?

Xcode 26.4 Editor UI Changes creating problems
Objective C projects, if that matters, but several useful editing features were removed, but the biggest issues relate to Storyboards. Action buttons were moved all around. Not sure why it was changed, as the new layout is not intuitive at all. Loading of storyboards is amazingly slow. It's been getting worse for several revisions, but it is really bad now. Connecting from the storyboard to code is non functional with this revision. Connections have to be done from the code to the storyboard only, which means all the code has to be done before storyboard changes. This is much less efficient for coding. Really dislike 26.4 editing changes. You are making our jobs harder, not easier.

NINearbyObject.direction always nil on iPhone 15 (U2) with NINearbyAccessoryConfiguration — intentional or bug?
I'm developing a spatial tracking app using a Qorvo DWM3001CDK (MFi-certified UWB accessory) with NINearbyAccessoryConfiguration. On iPhone 15 (iOS 26.3.1, second-generation UWB chip): supportsDirectionMeasurement = false NINearbyObject.direction is always nil NINearbyObject.distance works correctly (~63Hz) Camera Assistance (isCameraAssistanceEnabled=true) provides horizontalAngle only after ARKit convergence (~10s), and only while the phone is moving On iPhone 12/13 (first-generation UWB chip), direction works correctly with the same accessory. My questions: Is the removal of instantaneous direction measurement for third-party accessories on second-generation UWB devices intentional? Or is this a regression that will be fixed in a future iOS update? If intentional, what is the recommended approach for apps that need real-time direction to a UWB accessory on iPhone 15/16? Camera Assistance requires phone movement and only works with stationary targets, which doesn't work for our use case (tracking a moving object with the phone mounted on a gimbal). Are there any plans to provide instantaneous direction measurement for NINearbyAccessoryConfiguration on second-generation UWB devices? Sim Card unique Identification
I would like to enable the app to persist a stable SIM identifier and compare it across app sessions so it can reliably detect when the user has changed SIM cards. When a SIM change is detected—especially while the device is on Wi-Fi—the app should trigger SIM-change handling (for example: refresh auth/session, reload account-specific data, and update feature availability). The implementation must be robust for: Dual-SIM and eSIM devices Temporary network unavailability or delayed carrier info Current challenge: On Wi-Fi, the existing hash can distinguish a different operator but cannot reliably detect a SIM-card-level change. We need a way to uniquely identify the SIM card itself, not just the operator.

Extended Runtime API - Health Monitoring
In the WWDC 2019 session "Extended Runtime for WatchOS apps" the video talks about an entitlement being required to use the HR sensor judiciously in the background. It provides a link to request the entitlement which no longer works: http://developer.apple.com/contect/request/health-monitoring The session video is also quite hard to find these days. Does anyone know why this is the case? Is the API and entitlement still available? Is there a supported way to run, even periodically, in the background on the Watch app (ignoring the background observer route which is known to be unreliable) and access existing HR sensor data

Setting alternate app icon fails with "Ressource temporarily not available"
Switching alternative app icons previously worked in my app and I did not notice when it broke. However now the completion handler consistently returns this error if feeding with either an existing app icon name or a fictional one. Is this a regression I should file a bug report for or am I doing something wrong here? Enrollment Pending for 9 Business Days-Request for Update!

However, the status remains ‘Pending’ ‘Your enrollment is being processed’ and I have not received any further instructions or payment link. HomeKit support on MacOS
I am currently developing an app for MacOS that needs to control HomeKit devices like lights. However, it seems like MacOS is supported on the official documentation, but not when I try to create an app ID on developer.apple.com. On the link https://developer.apple.com/apple-home/, MacOS is clearly showed as supported for MacOS. But when I try to create an app ID, it shows that it is only compatible for iOS, VisionOS and WatchOS. Could this be clarified? Best regards, orangeidle25

No Renew button (membership)!
We had a work card attached to our developer's account. team ID 924RUYJZ34 dev ID 8771bf7b-31a9-4602-baae-02580fe5b6c4 Funds are debited from this card in other services, there are no problems with it, the amount in the account is sufficient. Our membership subscription did not renew automatically. The applications are blocked. We can't renew our subscription, there's no Renew button anywhere. There is no way to extend it on any device, web version, or anywhere else. We can't even cancel and re-arrange it, all the functions don't work. Please help us, how can we renew our subscription?!

TLS Inspection with MITM Proxy setup for System Extension app in macOS
Hi All, I am working on a macOS System Extension using Apple’s Network Extension Framework, designed to observe and log network activity at multiple layers. The system extension is currently stable and working as expected for HTTP and DNS traffic with 3 providers, getting Socket, HTTP, and DNS logs. Current Architecture Overview The project consists of two Xcode targets: 1. Main App Process Responsible for: Managing system extension lifecycle (activation, configuration) Establishing IPC (XPC) communication with extensions Receiving structured logs from extensions Writing logs efficiently to disk using a persistent file handle Uses: OSSystemExtensionManager NEFilterManager, NETransparentProxyManager, NEDNSProxyManager NWPathMonitor for network availability handling Persistent logging mechanism (FileHandle) 2. Xcode 26.x Frequently Freezes During Breakpoint Debugging with Simulator
When I use Xcode 26 (0.1, 1) for debugging and hit a breakpoint, using "step over" causes the debugger to freeze at a random line of code. Clicking "Pause program execution" indicates that the line is being executed, but the breakpoint never exits, seemingly causing a freeze. The application on the simulator also becomes unresponsive. However, when I do not use breakpoints, my program runs smoothly, and debugging on a physical device does not cause any freezes. This issue only occurs with the simulator. I am using Xcode on Apple Silicon, and due to some third-party SDKs that depend on Rosetta, our app can only run on the Rosetta simulator. We did not encounter this issue when using Xcode 16.x for simulator debugging. The current situation with Xcode 26.x significantly reduces our development efficiency. What could be causing this, and is there a solution?
