Team-scoped keys introduce the ability to restrict your token authentication keys to either development or production environments. Topic-specific keys in addition to environment isolation allow you to associate each key with a specific Bundle ID streamlining key management.
For detailed instructions on accessing these features, read our updated documentation on establishing a token-based connection to APNs.

I am currently using StoreKit2 to set up the in-app purchase subscription flow, and I have already configured the subscription products in App Connect. I created a StoreKit Configuration file in Xcode and used it in the scheme. However, after completing the purchase, the transaction.jsonRepresentation data returns a transactionId of 0. After checking the documentation, I found that I need to disable the StoreKit Configuration and enable Sandbox Testing. But after disabling the StoreKit Configuration, I can't retrieve the real product data using Product.products(for: productIds). I can confirm that the ProductId I provided is real and matches the data configured in App Connect. Could you please help me identify the issue?
My app monitors users heart beats and if critical reading is noticed, it auto -dials 911 for emergency and ambulance help.
I was under the impression that auto-dial may not be permitted or possible on the platform.
Can anyone confirm and provide any additional guidance on if it is possible in the newer SDK/API stack or using any 3rd party service ?
Thank you in advance!!

Hi,
We’re developing a BLE peripheral device and encountered a connection issue when connecting two devices (Device A and Device B) simultaneously to an iOS device.
Problem:
On iOS 18, we are experiencing occasional BLE timeouts and disconnections when both devices are connected at the same time.
On iOS 16, we did not encounter this issue under the same conditions.
What we’ve tried:
Adjusted the connection interval from 30ms to 15ms.
This seems to have improved stability somewhat.
However, we still observe intermittent timeout/disconnection issues.
Questions:
Are there any known changes in BLE connection handling or timing constraints in iOS 18?
Are there recommended connection parameter settings (interval, latency, timeout, etc.) for multi-device BLE connections in iOS?
Is there a way to debug or log more details about the disconnection reasons on the iOS side?
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Please allow me to confirm the Server Notifications V2 specification.
I am aware that if withdrawal an Apple account that has a subscription, the subscription will eventually be cancelled.
Regarding Server Notifications V2 notifications with a notificationType of EXPIRED, am I correct in thinking that they will be sent when the subscription expires even if the Apple account is withdrawal?
Hi,
We are using Firebase to configure APNs (Apple Push Notification Service) for sending push notifications. During local testing, the push notifications are received properly when the app is in the foreground or background. After TestFlight testing and passing review, we found that when the app is installed using the developer's Apple ID, push notifications are received correctly whether the app is in the foreground or background.
However, when the app is provided to other testers (using non-developer Apple IDs), notifications are only received when the app is in the foreground, and they are not triggered when the app is in the background or inactive state.
Request for Assistance:
Why, after TestFlight testing and passing review, does the app receive push notifications properly in the background when installed using the developer's Apple ID, but on other testers' devices, notifications are not received when the app is in the background?
Are there any differences in Apple ID types or device configurations (developer ID vs. regular tester ID) that could affect the behavior of push notifications in the background mode?
Do we need to apply any additional settings or permissions, particularly for handling background push notifications?
Are there any iOS version or device-specific limitations that could impact the proper delivery of background push notifications?
Additional Information:
The app is properly configured for APNs, and push notifications are being sent via Firebase.
In the developer's Apple ID test environment, the app receives push notifications properly whether it is in the foreground or background.
On other testers' devices, push notifications are only received when the app is in the foreground, and they are not received when the app is in the background.
All test devices have been verified to have notification permissions enabled, and Firebase configuration is correct.
Is there a way to detect an incoming call with a React Native app? I have a fitness app and would like to pause the workout during the phone call.
Hey there my application allows users to have video calls with each other using Agora. I have successfully set up incoming call functionality on Android but on iOS I am struggling to get the call ui to appear when the app is not running/in background/locked.
To my knowledge this is because there is much stricter security on iOS which is limiting me from calling this. When i initially set it up it worked at first when the app was in the background but I think I was failing to report the call to call kit in time and now it's not working.
I'm not sure if I need access to this entitlement:
com.apple.developer.pushkit.unrestricted-voip
Which i believe is only for the big boys or if I make sure I'm reporting the call to call kit fast enough that I won't encounter this issue and it will consistently work in the background.
Hello everyone,
I’m running an Objective-C–based hybrid (native + web) shopping application and encountering a recurring issue on devices running iOS 18.1.1:
When the app launches, it only shows a white screen with the native frame visible—no web content loads.
Restarting or reinstalling the app doesn’t help. In one instance, toggling Airplane Mode on and off brought the app back to normal, but this workaround isn’t consistent.
There are no crash logs, so we can’t determine if it’s caused by a network error, cache conflict, or an OS-level bug.
So far, we have only seen this issue on iOS 18.1.1 devices. Because our app is a shopping platform, this significantly impacts users.
Questions:
Could this be related to a known bug or limitation in iOS 18.1.1?
Are there recommended diagnostic steps or workarounds for a hybrid app that shows a white screen without generating crash logs?
Which additional details (e.g., system logs, network traces, device configurations) might help isolate the cause?
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hello developers! I am working with a team of North Carolina State University researchers to create an app or program that can retrieve real-time traffic events, such as hazards, road closures, and road construction alerts, in a similar manner to the Apple Maps app, but with the added functionality of collecting them over a historical period given a start and end date.
I'm looking through the MapKit documentation, but there doesn't appear to be any functions exposing granular traffic data (i.e. road hazards), just travel times and level of congestion. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Is what I'm looking to do even possible using just Apple data?

Hi,
I'm trying to setup PIR service for live caller id lookup (in python but based on swift example: https://github.com/apple/live-caller-id-lookup-example). The swift example provides utilities for database setup and encryption, but I can't find any specification about which key is used for database encryption and how the ios system knows about this key in order to be able to construct the PIR requests.
So my question is how does the PIR service communicate the secret key to ios system or vice versa? (specific to the test environment, before onboarding)
Hi, I'm developer in fintech company, we have setup process for onboarding merchants for our partner and processing payments with usage of Apple Pay API. Daily system is processing ca. 10k payments but every day ca. 100 of transactions are declined because of merchant validation error:
request to https://apple-pay-gateway.apple.com/paymentservices/paymentSession (with all required parameters in body)
is returning response with status code 417
"statusMessage": "Payment Services Exception
merchantId={root merchant id}
unauthorized to process transactions on behalf of
merchantId={merchant id hash}
reason={merchant id hash} is
not a registered merchant in WWDR and isn't properly authorized via Mass
Enablement, either."
Issue impacts recurring merchants, most of their transactions are processed successfully but randomly some of them are failing with such reason. All prerequisites are met: merchant have deployed 'apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association' certificate, certificates are valid and not expired. Apple Support is not able to provide any information based on provided requests timestamps. We would to know what may be the reason just part of the requests are failing and what 417 error code means.

Dear community,
Context
My company operates in the European Union, where not so long ago there appeared the possibility to accept an ["Alternative Terms Addendum for Apps in the EU"] (https://developer.apple.com/contact/request/download/alternate_eu_terms_addendum.pdf), which, among others, gives us the possibility to use an alternative payment provider, other than Apple's In App Purchase PSP system (ref: Apple docs). My company did accept it and was granted the StoreKit External Purchase Entitlement (com.apple.developer.storekit.external-purchase) entitlement, with which we integrated a different PSP, so now we want to incorporate the reporting to Apple's External Purchase Server API. We are currently integrating with the External Purchase Server API and have encountered a couple of issues I would appreciate clarification on:
Question 1
Is there a way to retrieve an overview or summary of the current subscription states on Apple’s servers as a result of the submitted reports to External Purchase Server API? Specifically, I would like to verify the expected outcomes before the monthly invoice is issued by Apple and to understand the subscription states for the test users I used during this process and for future reference as well.
Question 2
In one scenario, I initiated a one-year subscription, and in the middle of its period, I submitted a RENEWAL for one month with a higher price.
I expected the request to fail due to overlapping periods and/or pricing conflicts, but both submissions were accepted without error.
Do you have an idea about:
What happens at the end of the renewed month?
Will the subscription continue with the renewed (higher) amount, revert to the original (lower) annual rate, or be canceled?
Where can I view the final state and billing plan for that subscription?
Thank you for your assistance, we are looking forward for any kind of help or information regarding this topic.
I am unable to sign in to a Sandbox Apple Account, where this issue occurs only via Simulator.
Under Settings > Developer, I tap "Sign In" under Sandbox Apple Account. I enter my account credentials, and after bringing me back to the Developer page, the Sign In button briefly appears as disabled, before being re-enabled, without signing in to the account. (The account credentials are also recognized as correct, as I will receive an alert popup if incorrect.) See screenshots below:
After signing in, Sign In button appears disabled...
... then is re-enabled without actually signing in to the account.
I have now tried setting up multiple sandbox accounts via App Store Connect with various permutations (no confirmation of Apple Account email, confirming Apple Account email, logging in to iCloud and accepting terms of service), running different device simulators, running simulators on different Mac computers... none of which yield a different result.
By contrast, I can sign in to the Sandbox Apple Account without issue on a physical device. The problem occurs only via Simulator.
Hi Guys,
I am having an issue verifying a card when it is pending verification in the Apple Watch Wallet App and the iPhone Wallet.
When the user verifies the card in the wallets, they are redirected to verification in my APP. However, the problem is that I don't know which application is calling, whether it is the Apple Watch or the iPhone, because the URL sends me the same serialNumber from the PKPASS. It is impossible to know if the user wants to verify and activate the card on the watch or the iPhone.
Because I only receive the following information in the URL:
myapp://app-url?
passTypeldentifier=paymentpass.com.apple&action =verify&serialNumber=*****
The serialNumber is the same from the iPhone Wallet and the Watch Wallet.
func application(_ app: UIApplication, open url: URL, options:
[UIApplication.OpenURLOptionsKey : Any] = [:]) -> Bool
{
let source = options[.sourceApplication]
I try to retrieve the source, but it comes back null. It would be the only way to know the originating App.
Can someone help me solve this problem?

Hi everyone,
i'm trying to request in a AppIntent an array of strings. But I want to give the user the chance to add more than one String.
Yet, I do it so:
import AppIntent
struct AddHomework: AppIntent {
// some Parameters
@Parameter(title: "Tasks")
var tasks: [String]?
@Parameter(title: "New Task") //Only for the special request
var input: String?
private func collectTasks() async throws -> [String] {
var collectedTasks: [String] = tasks ?? []
while true {
if !collectedTasks.isEmpty {
let addMore = try await $input.requestConfirmation(for: "Möchtest du noch eine Aufgabe hinzufügen?")
if !addMore {
break
}
}
let newTask = try await $input.requestValue("Please enter your task:")
collectedTasks.append(newTask)
}
return collectedTasks
}
@MainActor
func perform() async throws -> some IntentResult {
let finalTasks = try await collectTasks()
// some more code
return .result()
}
}
But this is not working. The Shortcut is ending without requesting anything. But it is not crashing.
I would thankfully for some help.
My client is using iCloud Mail with his custom domain and he communicated with many govt organizations which seem to all be using Barracuda Email Protection for their spam prevention. I have properly configured his SPF, DKIM & DMARC DNS records however his emails were still being rejected. (Email header below)
I contacted Barracuda support with the email header and they replied saying that the emails were rejected becuase Apple Mail has missing PTR records.
I have sent dozens of emails for testing and looking at all their headers I can see (ms-asmtp-me-k8s.p00.prod.me.com [17.57.154.37]) which does not have a PTR record.

Our product is using IOKit framework for monitoring USB device activities. We have used IOKit framework for getting the notification for USB plugin and un-plugins. With the macOS version 15.3 we are started seeing issue with it. When the notification is received during USB plugin/connection, we are unable to get IOUSBDeviceInterface object which will be used for further processing.
Currently we are seeing the below error every time, while trying to create the IO plugin interface using IOCreatePlugInInterfaceForService API:
create plugin Error: (0xe00002be): (iokit/common) resource shortage
Due to this the we are unable to proceed with the flow further and the entire flow is broken.
These logics work fine in macOS version 15.2 and lower versions without any issues.
logic used:
USBDevice::initInterfaceInterfaceByIOService(io_service_t entry)
{
IOCFPlugInInterface** plugInInterface = NULL;
IOUSBInterfaceInterface** interface = NULL;
SInt32 score = 0;
mach_error_code err =

if ((err != 0) || (!plugInInterface)) {

return nullptr;
}
auto result = (*plugInInterface)->QueryInterface(plugInInterface, CFUUIDGetUUIDBytes(kIOUSBInterfaceInterfaceID), (LPVOID*)&interface);

I have a renewing monthly subscription in my app and recently added upgrade possibilities to yearly and 6 month subscriptions. Those new subscriptions were reviewed, approved and published to App Store.
I'm showing a modal for users in the app from where they can upgrade their subscription. Upgrading was tested with real devices on Sandbox and TestFlight. There has been successful purchases through the in app modal in production app, and directly upgrading from App Store.
However, for some users there seems to happen a failed transaction with paymentCancelled error code during the upgrade. The IAP is still successful, their subscription is upgraded and they haven't voluntarily canceled the IAP. The localized description of the error is "Toimintoa ei voitu suorittaa. (Virhe 2 kohteessa SKErrorDomain.)" which translates to "The operation could not be completed. (Error 2 in SKErrorDomain.)"
These users have various iPhones (iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro) with up to date iOS versions (>= 18.3.1).
I'm receiving DID_CHANGE_RENEWAL_PREF (UPGRADE) server notification of these purchases on my server.
I haven't been able to reproduce this error myself.
Any ideas why StoreKit might fail the transaction with paymentCancelled error but still successfully upgrade the subscription?

Hello everyone,
I would like to use AppleScript to transform a .csv file.
To make things easier to understand, I'm attaching two files:
1- The original file in csv format
2- The file as I'd like it to look after I've run it through the script.
Here are the steps involved
1-Open the file in numbers (Note: the file is located in the download folder).
2-Delete the first 6 lines
3-Delete all font styles and cell colors
4-Combine all cells in the nature of operation column of the same operation belonging to the same date in the first cell of the operation, deleting all spaces in the text is not necessary for each operation.
5- Delete all empty lines.
I hope I've made my request clear.
If any of you have the knowledge to do this, if it can be done at all, I'd be very grateful for their help in writing the script.
Thank you in advance.
