How do you get user consent for ConsumptionRequest?
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreserverapi/send_consumption_information If the customer provided consent, respond by calling this API and sending the consumption data in the ConsumptionRequest to the App Store. If not, respond by calling this API and setting the customerConsented value to false in the ConsumptionRequest; don't send any other information. Since our server would be receiving CONSUMPTION_REQUEST server notifications and will be the one calling the Consumption API, how do we know if the user has provided consent? That info doesn't seem to be in the server notification or anywhere else.

AppStore.sync() not restoring purchases
On an app that was using the old API for In-App Purchases (StoreKit 1). The app is already published on the App Store. The purchase is non-consumable. While trying to migrate to StoreKit 2, I'm unable to restore purchases. Specifically displaying and purchasing products works as expected, but when deleting and reinstalling the app, and then trying to restore purchases I can't do it. I'm trying to restore them using the new APIs but it doesn't seem to be working. What I have tried so far: I'm listening for transaction updates during the whole lifetime of the app, with: Task.detached { for await result in Transaction.updates { if case let .verified(safe) = result { } } } I have a button that calls this method, but other than prompting to log in again with the Apple ID it doesn't seem to have any effect at all: try? await AppStore.sync() This doesn't return any item for await result in Transaction.currentEntitlements { if case let .verified(transaction) = result { } } This doesn't return any item for await result in Transaction.all { if case let .verified(transaction) = result { } } As mentioned before I'm trying this after purchasing the item and deleting the app. So I'm sure it should be able to restore the purchase. Am trying this both with a Configuration.storekit file on the simulator, and without it on a real device, in the Sandbox Environment. Has anyone being able to restore purchases using StoreKit 2? PD: I already filed a feedback report on Feedback Assistant, but so far the only thing that they have replied is: Because StoreKit Testing in Xcode is a local environment, and the data is tied to the app, when you delete the app you're also deleting all the transaction data for that app in the Xcode environment. The code snippets provided are correct usage of the API. So yes, using a Configuration.storekit file won't work on restoring purchases, but if I can't restore them on the Sandbox Environment I'm afraid that this won't work once released, leaving my users totally unable to restore what they have already purchased.

SKAdNetwork: Error while updating conversion value
Hello! I make use of the new iOS 15.4 SKAdNetwork.updatePostbackConversionValue feature: SKAdNetwork.updatePostbackConversionValue(0) { error in                 if let error = error {                     print(error.localizedDescription)                 }             } I am not sure why, but I always see this error message in the console: SKAdNetwork: Error while updating conversion value: Error Domain=SKANErrorDomain Code=10 "(null)" The operation couldn’t be completed. (SKANErrorDomain error 10.) Any idea what’s going on there? What does Error Code 10 mean? Couldn't find anything in the documentation about that so far. I have the NSAdvertisingAttributionReportEndpoint key with domain (https://api2.branch.io/v1/skadnetwork/advertiser_app) in my .plist.

How to change promotional image of in-app purchase
My apps stuck on review stage. Reason of it is Guideline 2.3.2 - Performance - Accurate Metadata We noticed that your promotional image to be displayed on the App Store does not sufficiently represent the associated promoted in-app purchase. Specifically, we found the following issue with your promotional image: – Your promotional image is the same as your app’s icon. The problem is i can't change this image. My subscription is still in 'in review' stage and I don't have option like delete image or change image. I replied to the review explaining that I cannot change it as long as the subscription is under review, but I haven’t received any meaningful reply, except that I need to change promotion image to be eligible for further review(which i cant do because i haven't option to change this image). Has anyone had such a problem before?

Purchange is complete but show pending in account.
Hello I have buy new developepr membership and i have get email for purchase confirmation but when ihave go to developer account i have seen this. Purchase your membership. To continue your enrollment, complete your purchase now. Your purchase may take up to 48 hours to process. Please help me why it will show this if i have already buy the membership and i itune i have check and see the member is active and valid for 1 year. Please help me to solve this issue.

In app purchase rejected
Thanks for view post. I found some problem on step review in-app-purchase. All item in app purchase hold on "Developer Action Needed" then I check issue i found it because all item in section App Store Localization rejected. I don't know why it rejected on board don't show any information that why it was rejected. if who know please suggest me. I try many renew create item but every i resume for submit it every time it was reject aways I attached example my rejected image below thanks.

Can't manage my sandbox account
Hi, I can't get into "manage" sandbox account. I either get to a screen to put my password in. Here there is no way to click "next" or "login". (I have tried pressing "enter" on my keyboard to no effect). Or I get directly into "Cannot Connect" page. I have tried this two days in a row. I have tried turning it off and on again. I have tried logging out and in. Device: iPhone 13 pro max, iOS: 16.0.3 (also tried the version before this)

Unknown Error when Trying to Add New Offer Codes
Hi there! Whenever I try to add a new Offer Code for my app's subscription, I get an unknown error. When I get to the last step of the "Create Offer for Codes" flow, I get an error that error reads "An error has occurred. Try again later." I have been getting this same error for over a week now, so any help figuring out how to add new offer codes would be greatly appreciated!

New App with Subscription Review
We are launching a new app with a subscription in-app purchase (IAP). The Status of the IAP is "Waiting for Review". We want to submit the app to app for review, but the section to select an IAP with the app is not appearing. According to online sources, if we submit a new app for review, without selecting the IAP that goes with it, then the app may be released in the App Store without users being able to purchase the IAP. This actually happened to us years ago and I can't remember how we got around it, but it was painful. It seems strange that Apple would allow this problem to persist for years. Why not just hire an intern to fix it? Maybe because they are too busy running around in circles at the new spaceship headquarters. Regardless, our IAP has been sitting in "Waiting for Review" status for a while now and I'm concerned it may never be approved. Any advice would be appreciated.

Why Non-Consumable product has originalTransactionId?
I try to call Get Transaction Info from App Store Server API, and the transactionId is for a Non-consumable type product, but it is odd that there are so many different transactionId and they have a same originalTransactionId { "bundleId": "${bundleId}", "environment": "Production", "inAppOwnershipType": "PURCHASED", "originalPurchaseDate": 1691220528000, "originalTransactionId": "${originalTransactionId}", "productId": "${productId}", "purchaseDate": 1691220528000, "quantity": 1, "signedDate": 1692590989925, "storefront": "USA", "storefrontId": "143441", "transactionId": "${originalTransactionId}", "transactionReason": "PURCHASE", "type": "Non-Consumable" } the defination of Non-Consumable is can only purchase once for same apple account. But why there would have originalTransactionId?

How to cancel Auto-renewable subscription bought in TestFlight?
I've read several topics on cancelling subscriptions in sandbox environment, but it seems to me that it could not be applied to TestFlight. I can cancel sandbox subscriptions through Settings > App Store > Sandbox account But since TestFlight does not use sandbox account I cannot cancel a sub from there. Also, TF purchase does not appear in the list of regular subscriptions (Settings > Profile > Media & Purchases). So my question is: is there any way to manually cancel auto-renewable subscription bought in TestFlight build of the app?

Not able to renew membership
You can still renew your membership within the next 8 days and your apps will remain available on the App Store during this time. Open the Apple Developer app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Sign in to your account, tap/click Renew, and follow the prompts. I'm getting this message but renew button is not visible in Developer App or on website. How to to renew?

iOS misleading users with payment notification timing
I'm getting really frustrated with emails from my App users who believe they've been charged for a free in-app purchase when they haven't. My App offers many in-app purchases of digital items and I give 4 of these away for free to let users get comfortable with how it works in-app. Over the last couple of years I've had a steady increase in angry emails from users who accuse me of fraud by charging them for a free item. I couldn't figure out for a while what this was as they would leave a 1 star rating, delete the app and ignore my emails for more information. Recently I had someone a bit more patient engage and explain it to me. The purchase for some reason popped up on my notifications right when I bought the [Free Item in my app]. It was from a movie I bought and the bill was delayed. The timing of that notification is what is misleading users about the free in-app purchase. Can someone take note of this please and perhaps delay any payment notifications so they aren't sent when the in-app purchase is for FREE? Thanks!

Does SubscriptionStoreView .storeButton(for:.policies) work?
I've added .storeButton(.visible, for:.policies) to my SubscriptionStoreView, and the buttons do appear, but when I tap on them I get a sheet that just says "Terms of Service Unavailable / Somethng went wrong. Try Again.". (similar for Privacy Policy). Is this expected in development? Will these start working correctly in production? (and, more importantly, in App Review?) The docs say that these use the values (i.e. URLs) set in App Store Connect, but that I can override those. This is a new app. Is that wrong, do I need to set the URLs explicitly? Edited to add: the console reports: Failed to fetch terms of service and privacy policy: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1011 "(null)"

Auto-renewing Subscription Updates not Arriving
This is a copy of a reply to this post. https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/722222?page=1 I'm posting as new in the hope someone might have more up-to-date information, as I'm pulling out what little hair I have left. I'm using Storekit 2, testing in Xcode with a local Storekit config file. I have created a very minimal system to investigate this issue. I have a SwiftUI-based window using SubscriptionStoreView, and my app set up with the usual listener. I have four types of auto renewing subscription, configured in the local Storekit config file. With my app running, I subscribe to the lowest-level subscription I offer, via the SubscriptionStoreView. Notification of the inital purchase arrives, but subsequent auto-renewals do not trigger any action in my listener for Transaction.updates. They arrive as expected in the Transaction Manager. Radio silence in my listener. If I upgrade one subscription (via my SubscriptionStoreView) I see this reflected in the UI immediately, and also in the Transaction Manager, but the update that arrives in Transaction.updates refers to the old subscription, and has the isUpgraded flag set to false. Also, can anyone remind me what the grey warning triangle next to entries in the Transaction Manager means. I'm assuming it means unfinished, as that's what the sidebar indicates. Can the testing system really be this broken, or am I wildly off the mark? Unless I'm doing something fundamentally wrong this all seems extremely flakey, but happy to be proved wrong. Subscription Unavailable - Strange Behavior with StoreKit
I added my first subscription to my app using StoreKit's SubscriptionStoreView. Everything worked as expected in the debug environment and also in TestFlight. So I submitted my app and subscriptions to App Store Connect, got everything Approved and released. After updating my app through App Store and checking the Subscription View, it just says "Subscription Unavailable. The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront." I waited around 3 days and still getting the same message. Now the very strange behavior starts. I went to App Store Connect, I made and edit to the subscription description, saved, removed the edit, saved, and submitted to review. 15 minutes later the subscriptions appear in my app and everything works as expected. After getting the edit approved, the Subscription View in my app again only showed the message "Subscription Unavailable. The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront." No user is able to see the subscriptions anymore, even though it worked as expected before the edit was approved. So I did the same as before. Again, make an edit to the subscription description, save, remove the edit, save, submit to review. 15 minutes later the subscriptions are again available in my app and it works as expected. This is definitely not the expected behavior and submitting the subscription edits every day is wasting the App Review Team's time as well as mine. I contacted Apple Developer Support but I didn't get any reply back (at least yet). I am not the only one experiencing this. I found a friend online who has the exact same issue, and is able to temporarily solve it by making an edit to the subscription description as well. So far it has been a huge headache, and we are losing customers this way. Please if anyone has experience with this problem, or has any suggestions, they will be greatly appreciated. There is a warning message displays in my itune connect's In App Purchase page but there is nothing highlighted in the table. This is very stange. Is there anyone having the same problem? Or can anyone help?

Promotional offer is not showing in In-app subscription sheet.
Hello, I have 2 subscription group. Each group have different plans and promotional offer. I was set 1 month free promotional offer in all plans. While I subscribe any plan IAP sheet is not showing 1 month free promotional offer. I already used with new sandbox account. How can I get promotional offer in IAP sheet?

So I submitted my app and subscriptions to App Store Connect, got everything Approved and released. After updating my app through App Store and checking the Subscription View, it just says "Subscription Unavailable. The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront." I waited around 3 days and still getting the same message. Now the very strange behavior starts. I went to App Store Connect, I made and edit to the subscription description, saved, removed the edit, saved, and submitted to review. 15 minutes later the subscriptions appear in my app and everything works as expected. After getting the edit approved, the Subscription View in my app again only showed the message "Subscription Unavailable. The subscription is unavailable in the current storefront." No user is able to see the subscriptions anymore, even though it worked as expected before the edit was approved. So I did the same as before. Again, make an edit to the subscription description, save, remove the edit, save, submit to review. 15 minutes later the subscriptions are again available in my app and it works as expected. This is definitely not the expected behavior and submitting the subscription edits every day is wasting the App Review Team's time as well as mine. I contacted Apple Developer Support but I didn't get any reply back (at least yet). I am not the only one experiencing this. I found a friend online who has the exact same issue, and is able to temporarily solve it by making an edit to the subscription description as well. So far it has been a huge headache, and we are losing customers this way. Please if anyone has experience with this problem, or has any suggestions, they will be greatly appreciated.
