Whats the deal with apple taking money from people for a developer account and doing nothing about it. There's a growing number of users waiting weeks and some over a month who have paid for a developer account and are not receiving what they paid for. When trying to reach out to Apple they are ignored and never answered. Some would label this theft or fraud. Whats going on?

Hi everyone, I’m posting this to ask for advice and see if anyone has experienced a similar issue with the Apple Developer Program subscription. On July 9th, 2025, I registered for the Apple Developer Program via the Apple Developer app on my iPhone using my main iCloud account (Apple ID). The expected annual fee was 2,299,000 VND (~$99). However, I just checked my billing history and saw that I was charged twice for the same subscription, both under the same Apple ID / iCloud account, on the same day. Key Details: I only enrolled once. Both charges are labeled “Apple Developer Program”, exactly the same amount (2,299,000 ₫). The payments were made through the App Store, not via the website. My account on developer.apple.com/account still shows “Enroll Now” — meaning I haven't been activated yet. I have not received any welcome email either. My questions: Is it possible to request a refund for one of the charges, since both payments came from the same iCloud account and clearly refer to the same subscription? Has anyone else encountered this issue? How long did it take Apple to respond? Was your refund request approved? Should I wait for Apple to activate my account, or should I escalate the issue now? I’ve already submitted a refund request through https://reportaproblem.apple.com, but I’m posting here in case someone has more experience or insights. Thanks in advance!

Each year I get my renewal email from Apple, however, since 2019 (yes, this is the 4th year in a row) I've been unable to renew due to this infamous "Please enter fewer characters" error message. Each time I've had to open a support case, talk to someone on the phone, they take all of my details along with screenshots, etc. and manually renew my subscription. Once they've charged my card I never hear from them again and issue never gets resolved. IDK if any Apple Dev Support folks actually use this forum but this is ridiculous.

It’s been 12 days since I submitted all the required documents (photo ID, business verification, and company registration documents. I also replied to the email as instructed. Seven days ago, I received a response from a Senior Advisor saying the case was being reviewed and that I’d receive a reply soon—but nothing since then. The status still shows "Your enrollment is being processed." This delay is now affecting my business operations and launch timelines. I’ve done everything required—uploaded all documents, responded to support emails—but no progress or updates. Has anyone experienced similar delays? Is there any way to escalate this? Plus button is not showing to create a new identifier. Tried Windows+Firefox, Windows+Chrome, Mac+Chrome and Mac+Safari. With none of those combinations I've been able to see the button.

I have received an invitation to a development team in the Apple Developer Program. Having filled the form out and completing the image challenge successfully, tapping on continue simply results in the button graying itself out. My name is Batsaikhan Uugantsetseg, and I recently paid $99 for Apple Developer Program enrollment. However, I have not yet been approved. After submitting my application, I uploaded my Mongolian citizen ID for verification. Later, I received an email from Apple Developer Support (Asia) informing me that the ID was not accepted because it is not written in English. They suggested that I submit my driver's license instead. Following that advice, I uploaded my driver license, and I received a confirmation from Apple Support that the document was received.
