Hello there I have got into a bit of an issue with the Apple TV 4k 3rd Gen with Ethernet . So I installed the iOS 26 beta to try out the new changes I usually do this on Apple TVs but in this case it has a bug where my apple music randomly skipped to the next songs . So after some bit of reading I got to know that the apple TV as a recovery mode which could be accessed by pressing home and pause/play buttons . After getting there I was required to bring an iPhone close to start the recovery process which I did but somehow that process always failed I tried to plug in the Ethernet cable since my apple TV is literally 3-5 inches away from my main router I even tried the recommended option of switching to a 2.4ghz connection but nothing worked . I would think that by apple getting rid of the USB ports on these things they had a reliable method of recovery in case of error because these are computers they are bound to fail at some point . So for now am stuck with a boot looping apple TV without a port and I don't even know how that too came about since the recovery process barely starts and fails. Ps am in Africa where we have no apple stores so we usually deal with our products ourselves

I was searching for demo code from WWDC 2015 (Maze: Getting Started with GamePlayKit). Turns out, Apple remove the project from their website. But I finally found the project on my Mac because I must have downloaded it in the past. Does anyone know if I'm allowed to put that project to a public GitHub page without any modifications? Has anyone of you experience with this? I think it's really bad that Apple is removing those old projects. And as this particular project is in ObjC it compiles with only minor adjustments.

Hello all, I have an application that uses broadcast extension of Replay kit to record the entire screen and mic sound to a file on iOS. Up until some months ago, everything was smooth. Currently I am facing the following issue. If another app uses the microphone, then I loose the sound and never comes back. In order to debug this issue I have added a log to the processSampleBuffer, that logs a text each time it receives a .audioMic buffer type. I start the recording and everything works as expected. Later on, I go onto an app that uses microphone, and then I do not get any log for audioMic. I stop the recording on that app, but the sound never comes back. This as a result makes my video file to not have any sound at all. In the above context I also noticed that even with Photos app broadcast extension, if you start recording a video, and you go to Speech to text feature of the keyboard, then the sound is joined. While the STT is on, there is no sound and the sound of whatever comes after STT stops is joined to the sound before the STT starts, so I guess that this is something general. Also on the same research I did, I saw that google Meet app does not allow any microphone to be used from another app while you are in a meet (Even the STT is grayed out). I would like to know my options here. What can I do to have a valid video file with sound? How can I not allow other apps to use the microphone while my app is recording? Is there any entitlement? How does Google Meet do that? P.S. I have added an observer to observe the interruptions for the session and the type .began runs, but the type .ended does not, so I can not actually set the AVAudioSession to active again.

My Macbook internal keyboard is ANSI Layout but in Keyboard setting input sources with beta is show the ISO layout. so I need to type `(backtick) but it show "§" instead. how to change keyboard type ISO to ANSI ?

After updating to another beta of High Sierra, my internal hard drive became read-only somehow. I have a user home directory on that and many things have stopped working. I tried re-installing the OS, but it didn't help. I'm out of options by now. Anyone has ideas how can I fix that?

Hey there, Just writing here to say how I do enjoy the latest update, but I can’t seem to run it on my iPhone 14 Pro well because it tends to overheat. i can deal with the stuttering issues and app crashes, that’s understandable, but for some reason the hardware seem to really heat up after normal use (scrolling on social media platforms). oh also, I do think rolling back your phone‘s software should be a simpler process as well. It’s not impossible, but the demand of a computer in reinstating a previous backup when iCloud backups your device through WiFi seems like a missed opportunity. Okay. Thank you for reading.

Hello all, We are in the process of deploying EAP-TLS Wi-Fi authentication across our corporate environment for both Windows and macOS devices. All endpoints are managed via Workspace ONE. As part of our macOS configuration, we are pushing device certificates to the login keychain of managed MacBooks. For testing purposes, we have explicitly set the Access Control List (ACL) of the associated private key to allow all applications access. This includes: eapolclient, which handles the EAP-TLS handshake for Wi-Fi panGPS, which is responsible for establishing the GlobalProtect VPN connection (we are using certificate-based authentication with pre-logon enabled) Additionally, we have configured and deployed a Wi-Fi profile via Workspace ONE to prevent users from having to manually select their device certificate - basically the identity preference card in Keychain Access. Despite these settings, we are still encountering Keychain Access prompts when eapolclient attempts to access the private key. This happens even though the key is configured to allow all applications access. This behavior is unexpected, and we’re trying to understand why these prompts persist. Has anyone encountered similar behavior on macOS, or is there something we're missing in terms of permissions or keychain configuration that could be causing this? Upgraded my M1 Mac mini from MacOS Tahoe 26 Beta to Beta 2. Prior to the update I had no problem connecting to the Max mini from my MacBook Pro M2 running Now, attempting to connect to the Mac mini from a MacBook Pro M2 running Sequoia 15.5. After the update, I can enter my password, but then I am disconnected with the error "This Mac was unable to start a High Performance connection to the Mac mini" and to "change the screen sharing type to standard and try again" Connecting via a "Standard" connection showed that the Window Server failed.

Installed the iOS 26 Beta on my iPhone 13 Pro last night, hated it. I wasn't aware that there is a supported way of restoring back to iOS18.5, so I (foolishly) opted to flash the iOS18.5 ispw file onto my device using a 3rd party tool. Now, my device is stuck in a state between. Unable to flash, unable to use itunes to restore, randomly gives error codes during restoration attempts. Worries my device may be lost permanently! Please advise.

Hi, Have done the update for IOS Beta 4 and after it was done the screen just had the background and no icons. Couldn't get to any of the icons. Tried to do a restore on the iPad from my Mac and it started the restore but then got the message that it errored out and gave me this: Need help trying to get this fixed. Also tried a computer that wasn't in the beta and got the same error message. Tried to turn it off and then see if it would go back to the error before and it just stays in recovery mode. Please help. Thank you.

Hi everyone, It’s been almost three weeks, and I’m still waiting for a reply about my subscription to the Apple Developer Program, but I haven’t received anything. I replied to the email three days ago and got no response. I tried again by requesting the subscription two days ago, but all I received was an automated message saying they would reply within two business days. What I did: I went to my Apple Developer account, clicked on Subscriptions, and entered my card details. They sent me an email saying they are preparing my order, but nothing else.
