Combining Screen Time Usage with HealthKit Data in a Chart
Hello Apple Developer Community, I’m working on creating a chart that combines Screen Time Usage data with Workout Time from HealthKit. I’ve successfully implemented a DeviceActivityReportExtension to fetch Screen Time data and draw a chart. I’m also able to read HealthKit data from the main app. However, I’m having trouble integrating the HealthKit data into the View generated by the DeviceActivityReportExtension. I’ve attempted to read HealthKit data directly from the extension , but this doesn’t seem to work, likely due to HealthKit access restrictions in extensions. I also tied using a shared object to pass HealthKit data to the extension, but unfortunately this didn’t seem to work as expected. I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions on how to successfully integrate HealthKit data into the extension-generated View. Has anyone dealt with a similar challenge or found a workaround for this? Thanks in advance for your help!

Can I ask user to share his/her email id while doing
We sell magazines through a third party app platform called Pocketmags and our website. The magazines have Print, Digital and Combo options available for purchase. Also, this third party app provides the platform to read the digital version of the magazines. Once a user buys a subscription on the website, he/she receives the email with the login information on PocketMags, where he registers his login details and can start reading his subscription. With us, the customer shares his billing/shipping address along with their email id while they make payment. Now we have our own app where through which we want to sell these magazines and have to integrate In-App purchase for selling these digital subscriptions. How do we send the 3rd party subscription access details on email to the user if they do in app purchase?

Weather Notifications
I'm strugling about the way how to code notifications for my weather aplication. I use data from my server that receives weather changing values from my own weather station and want to notify user of my app when eg strong wind will blow or temperature go under eg 3℃ etc. The weather station has 8 sensors so there is sometimes a lot of data changing in particular minute that i set to parse data from server and notify user about it. But the notifications only works only when app is on and couple minutes after locking display. So please what could i use strategy for the app to works even when the app sleeps ?

Issue with UPI IAP Transactions Stuck in Pending State and No Rewards Granted
Hi everyone, We’ve encountered an issue in some of our games where IAP purchases made using UPI are going into a pending state. Since these purchases are for consumable items, the rewards are not granted at the time of purchase. Even after the transactions are eventually confirmed, the rewards still aren't received. We tested this with two separate UPI transactions, and both resulted in the same pending state issue. Interestingly, when we tried making a purchase using Apple Wallet afterward, the transaction completed successfully on the first attempt, without any pending state. This issue seems specific to UPI transactions. Could anyone help us understand why this is happening or if there’s a recommended way to handle such cases? Thanks in advance!

Home screen Widget with dynamic options for configuration via App Intent - Slow
I am building a widget with configurable options (dynamic option) where the options are pull from api (ultimately the options are return from a server, but during my development, the response is constructed on the fly from locally). Right now, I am able to display the widget and able to pull out the widget configuration screen where I can choose my config option . I am constantly having an issue where the loading the available options when selected a particular option (e.g. Category) and display them on the UI. Sometime, when I tap on the option "Category" and the loading indicator keeps spinning for while before it can populate the list of topics (return from methods in NewsCategoryQuery struct via fetchCategoriesFromAPI ). Notice that I already made my fetchCategoriesFromAPI call to return the result on the fly and however the widget configuration UI stills take a very long time to display the result. Even worst, the loading (loading indicator keep spinning) sometime will just kill itself after a while and my guess there are some time threshold where the widget extension or app intent is allow to run, not sure on this? My questions: How can I improve the loading time to populate the dynamic options in widget configuration via App Intent Here is my sample code for my current setup struct NewsFeedConfigurationIntent: AppIntent, WidgetConfigurationIntent { static let title: LocalizedStringResource = "Configure News Topic Options" static let description = IntentDescription("Select a topic for your news.") @Parameter(title: "Category", default: nil) var category: NewsCategory? } struct NewsCategory: AppEntity, Identifiable { let id: String let code: String let name: String static let typeDisplayRepresentation: TypeDisplayRepresentation = "News Topic" static let defaultQuery = NewsCategoryQuery() var displayRepresentation: DisplayRepresentation { DisplayRepresentation(title: LocalizedStringResource(stringLiteral: name)) } } struct NewsCategoryQuery: EntityQuery { func entities(for identifiers: [NewsCategory.ID]) async throws -> [NewsCategory] { let categories = fetchCategoriesFromAPI() return categories.filter { identifiers.contains($0.id) } } func suggestedEntities() async throws -> [NewsCategory] { fetchCategoriesFromAPI() } } func fetchCategoriesFromAPI() -> [NewsCategory] { let list = [ "TopicA", "TopicB", "TopicC", ....... ] return list.map { item in NewsCategory(id: item, code: item, name: item.capitalized) } }

Accuracy of IBI Values Measured by Apple Watch
I am currently developing an app that measures HRV to estimate stress levels. To align the values more closely with those from Galaxy devices, I decided not to use the heartRateVariabilitySDNN value provided by HealthKit. Instead, I extracted individual interbeat intervals (IBI) using the HKHeartBeatSeries data. Can I obtain accurate IBI data using this method? If not, I would like to know how I can retrieve more precise data. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here is a sample code I tried. @Observable class HealthKitManager: ObservableObject { let healthStore = HKHealthStore() var ibiValues: [Double] = [] var isAuthorized = false func requestAuthorization() { let types = Set([ HKSeriesType.heartbeat(), HKQuantityType.quantityType(forIdentifier: .heartRateVariabilitySDNN)!, ]) healthStore.requestAuthorization(toShare: nil, read: types) { success, error in DispatchQueue.main.async { self.isAuthorized = success if success { self.fetchIBIData() } } } } func fetchIBIData() { var timePoints: [TimeInterval] = [] var absoluteStartTime: Date? let dateFormatter = DateFormatter() dateFormatter.timeZone = TimeZone(identifier: "Asia/Seoul") dateFormatter.dateFormat = "yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.SSS" var calendar = Calendar.current calendar.timeZone = TimeZone(identifier: "Asia/Seoul") ?? .current var components = DateComponents() components.year = 2025 components.month = 4 components.day = 3 components.hour = 15 components.minute = 52 components.second = 0 let startTime = calendar.date(from: components)! components.hour = 16 components.minute = 0 let endTime = calendar.date(from: components)! let predicate = HKQuery.predicateForSamples(withStart: startTime, end: endTime, options: .strictStartDate) let sortDescriptor = NSSortDescriptor(key: HKSampleSortIdentifierStartDate, ascending: false) let query = HKSampleQuery(sampleType: HKSeriesType.heartbeat(), predicate: predicate, limit: HKObjectQueryNoLimit, sortDescriptors: [sortDescriptor]) { (_, samples, _) in if let sample = samples?.first as? HKHeartbeatSeriesSample { absoluteStartTime = sample.startDate let startDateKST = dateFormatter.string(from: sample.startDate) let endDateKST = dateFormatter.string(from: sample.endDate) print("series start(KST):\(startDateKST)\tend(KST):\(endDateKST)") let seriesQuery = HKHeartbeatSeriesQuery(heartbeatSeries: sample) { query, timeSinceSeriesStart, precededByGap, done, error in if !precededByGap { timePoints.append(timeSinceSeriesStart) } if done { for i in 1..<timePoints.count { let ibi = (timePoints[i] - timePoints[i-1]) * 1000 // Convert to milliseconds // Calculate absolute time for current beat if let startTime = absoluteStartTime { let beatTime = startTime.addingTimeInterval(timePoints[i]) let beatTimeString = dateFormatter.string(from: beatTime) print("IBI: \(String(format: "%.2f", ibi)) ms at \(beatTimeString)") } self.ibiValues.append(ibi) } } } self.healthStore.execute(seriesQuery) } else { print("No samples found for the specified time range") } } self.healthStore.execute(query) } }

Apple Watch Fails to Receive Companion App Message
Hello all, I have run into a weird situation in my watchOS app with a companion iOS app. Issue: Watch fails to receive sendMessage string sent from phone while watch is in foreground. This is not consistent and seems to happen randomly under certain conditions. Order of operations: User Opens phone app & watch app -> user presses "sendMessage" button, func is called -> watch does not receive message while in foreground Condition explanation: To my knowledge, without a HealthKit workout session active, the apple watch is not available to receive messages (using any internal library transmission type) from its iOS companion app while the watch screen is not in the foreground (i.e. inactive). However, my issue is that sometimes, while the watch IS in the foreground, it does not receive the companion app's message. Additionally, this is not resolved by force quitting both iOS and watchOS apps. The only way I have gotten this issue to go away is by restarting both the phone and the watch. Again, it is not a consistent behavior and seemingly happens randomly. This behavior has been observed across multiple different beta testers on different hardware. This is only apparent when transmitting from Phone -> Watch. I have not experienced any transmission issues when transmitting Watch -> Phone. My team and I have speculated that it could be an issue with WCSession.isReachable returning true before we transmit the message but changing to false before the hardware actually transmits. However, this wouldn't explain why the watch would not be available while in the foreground. This is just a preliminary thought. My goal in posting on here is to see if anyone else has experienced this, or if it's a known bug. All message protocols have been coded to follow Apple's WCSession documentation as closely as possible. Hardware specs: Watch Model: A2093 (series 5) WatchOS ver: 10.6.1 Phone: MU693LL/A (15 pro max) iOS ver: 18.3.2 XCode ver: 16.0

How to run HKWorkoutSession on watch without affecting activity rings?
My research group is using watch sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes) to track wrist motion to detect and measure eating. https://cecas.clemson.edu/ahoover/bite-counter/ We are running an HKWorkoutSession on the watch so that the app can run for an extended period of time (up to 12 hr) and continue to sense and process motion data. Our app is adding to the activity rings, making it look like the user is exercising the entire time our app is running. Is there a method to prevent our app from contributing to the activity ring measures?

ApplePay: Flexible payments/scheduling
On Applepay's docs it talks about the ability to do "flexible" payments and scheduling for future purchases. We need to be able to make only a single approval of an Apple payment for multiple submissions later on. Think, deferred payments at an arbitrary schedule without presenting the ApplePay dialog each and every time. The docs suggest that may be possible, but are maddeningly vague on how to do that. Is it possible or not? Can we store an approved merchant's token for example and leverage that for future transactions?

iOS did not update all widgets of an app when the user press a button on a widget
Hello, I have an app in AppStore "Counter Widget". https://apps.apple.com/app/id1522170621 It allows you to add a widget to your homescreen/lockscreen to count anything. Everything works fine except for one scenario. iOS 18+ I create 2 or more widgets for one counter. For example, medium and small widgets. I click on the widget button to increase or decrease the value. The button in the widget uses Button(intent: AppIntent) to update the value and calls WidgetCenter.shared.reloadAllTimelines() to update the second widget for the same counter. For iOS 18 in this particular scenario, you don't even have to call the WidgetCenter.shared.reloadAllTimelines(). iOS already knows that there is a widget with the same INIntent settings and will update it itself. Both widgets are updated and show the new value. Everything is correct. Now on the homescreen I open the widget configuration for one of the widgets to change the INIntent for the widget. For example, i change the background to wallpaper. This is just a skin for the widget, and the widget is associated with the same counter value as before. As in (2), I click the widget button to increase or decrease the value. But now only one widget is updated. iOS ignores my call to WidgetCenter.shared.reloadAllTimelines() and does not update the second widget connected to the same counter. As I found, iOS, when I call WidgetCenter.shared.reloadAllTimelines() from the widget itself, updates other widgets only if INIntent is absolutely equal for them. Overriding isEqual for them did not help. That is, I cannot specify which fields from my INIntent can be ignored during such an update and consider that widgets are equal and need to be updated. Obviously iOS make this compare outside my code. The main problem is that when the user adds a widget to the lock screen and increases and decreases the value there. After that, he opens the home screen and the widget there is not synchronized with the value from the widget on the lock screen. How to solve this problem?

Decrypting Apple Token
I am currently working on decrypting Apple Pay tokens with Laravel PHP, and I have encountered a few uncertainties regarding the decryption process and the usage of AES-GCM. Could you please clarify the following points: Algorithm Confirmation: Am I using the correct algorithm for decrypting the data key? Specifically, I am utilizing AES-256-GCM with the algorithm ID "id-aes256-GCM" (2.16.840.1.101.3.4.1.46), as specified in the documentation. Is this the recommended algorithm for decrypting the Apple Pay token's data key? Authentication Tag: In the decryption process, it seems that an authentication tag is required, but I am not sure where to obtain it from. Could you confirm how the authentication tag is generated or provided during the encryption process? If the tag is part of the token or is transmitted separately, could you clarify where I can retrieve it in order to proceed with the decryption successfully? IV and Other Parameters: I am using an initialization vector (IV) of 16 null bytes (00000000000000000000000000000000) as specified in the documentation. Could you confirm that this is correct and aligns with the expected parameters for the AES-GCM decryption? Are there any other specific parameters or considerations I should be aware of when implementing the decryption of Apple Pay tokens? GCM vs Other Encryption Modes: Can you confirm that AES-GCM is the preferred and required encryption mode, or is there any flexibility to use other modes (e.g., AES-CBC) without compromising security? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated to ensure I am following the correct decryption procedure for Apple Pay tokens. Thank you in advance for your support.

/usr/bin/shortcuts no longer works in 14.7.5 (23H527) ?
I've been using /usr/bin/shortcuts for various tasks (eg. Quicksilver uses it to list and run shortcuts), and after updating from 14.7.4 to 14.7.5 the tool gets killed on startup. Eg. here is what it looks like in my shell: ❯ shortcuts list zsh: killed shortcuts list (And this is regardless of whether I have "full disk access" or "developer tools" toggled on or off for iTerm.) Looking at system logs it seems like the binary is missing an entitlement, which causes MACF / Gatekeeper to throw a fit: 2025-04-12 18:38:48.847576 kernel: mac_vnode_check_signature: /usr/bin/shortcuts: code signature validation failed fatally: When validating /usr/bin/shortcuts: in-kernel: com.apple.shortcuts.ShortcutsCommandLine disallowed without com.apple.private.security.restricted-application-groups 2025-04-12 18:38:48.847582 kernel: validation of code signature failed through MACF policy: 1 2025-04-12 18:38:48.847583 kernel: check_signature[pid: 2475]: error = 1 2025-04-12 18:38:48.847587 kernel: proc 95761: load code signature error 4 for file "shortcuts" 2025-04-12 18:38:48.847613 kernel: exec_mach_imgact: not running binary "shortcuts" built against preview arm64e ABI 2025-04-12 18:38:48.855481 syspolicyd: (Security) SecTrustEvaluateIfNecessary 2025-04-12 18:38:48.857970 syspolicyd: [com.apple.syspolicy.exec:default] GK evaluateScanResult: 2, PST: (path: /usr/bin/shortcuts), (team: (null)), (id: (null)), (bundle_id: (null)), 0, 0, 1, 0, 1, 1, 0evaluateScanResult: 2, PST: (path: /usr/bin/shortcuts), (team: (null)), (id: (null)), (bundle_id: (null)), 0, 0, 1, 0, 1, 1, 0 I used Time Machine to compare the binary's entitlements between 14.7.4 and 14.7.5, and looks like in 14.7.5 /usr/bin/shortcuts indeed is missing the com.apple.private.security.restricted-application-groups entitlement that 14.7.4 had. The old binary had these two entitlements that the new one doesn't: [Key] com.apple.private.security.restricted-application-groups [Value] [Array] [String] group.com.apple.shortcuts [String] group.is.workflow.my.app [String] group.is.workflow.shortcuts [Key] com.apple.security.application-groups [Value] [Array] [String] group.com.apple.shortcuts [String] group.is.workflow.my.app [String] group.is.workflow.shortcuts Is there a sensible workaround for this (and by "sensible" I mean something that'd allow me to keep using the tool)? (I already asked this on the support forums but I figured I might as well ask here too)

Live Activity - Firebase Cloud Messaging, APNs iOS 18+
Hello, We are using the Firebase Admin SDK (firebase-admin framework) to send push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for Live Activity updates in our iOS app. With the introduction of iOS 18, a new key "input-push-token": 1 has been added to the Live Activities push payload structure. 1) Can this new key ("input-push-token": 1) be used when sending payloads via FCM? We noticed that FCM is still using the push update format introduced in iOS 17.2. Will FCM be updated to support the new push structure introduced with iOS 18? Or is the "input-push-token" feature only available when sending notifications via direct APNs? 2) We are concerned about the expiration of the Live Activity start push token. If a user doesn't open the app for a long time, the token may expire, and this could result in failed updates. That’s why we are looking into the new "input-push-token" behavior in iOS 18. Do you have any recommendations on how to manage or prevent token expiration? Is there any official guidance on the lifespan of the Live Activity push tokens? Will FCM support the delivery of start/update/end Live Activity actions even when the app is completely terminated? We would highly appreciate any official clarification or roadmap regarding this. It would help us determine whether we should wait for FCM support or switch to sending notifications directly via APNs. Thank you for your help!

Alternate App Icon Change Does Not Reflect in Notification Center on iOS 18.1+
Version: iOS 18.1 and later (works as expected on iOS 18.0 and earlier) Area: SpringBoard / Notification Center / App Icon Rendering Description: When changing the app's alternate icon using UIApplication.setAlternateIconName(_:completionHandler:), the icon is updated correctly on the Home Screen and App Switcher. However, in Notification Center, the old app icon is still shown for notifications, even after the change has completed. This issue only occurs on iOS 18.1 and later. In iOS 18.0 and earlier, Notification Center correctly reflects the updated icon. - Steps to reproduce: Create an iOS app with alternate app icons configured in the Info.plist. Use UIApplication.shared.setAlternateIconName("IconName") to change the icon at runtime. Send a notification. Pull down Notification Center and observe the icon shown beside the notification. - Expected Behavior: Notification Center should reflect the updated (alternate) app icon immediately after the change. - Actual Behavior: Notification Center continues to display the old (primary) app icon. The new icon appears correctly on the Home Screen and App Switcher. Restarting the device does cause Notification Center to update and reflect the correct icon, which suggests a cache or refresh issue in SpringBoard or Notification Center. - Notes: Issue introduced in iOS 18.1; not present in 18.0. Reproduces on both physical devices and simulators. Occurs with both scheduled local notifications and remote notifications. Restarting the device updates the Notification Center icon, but this is not a viable user-facing workaround.

WidgetKit And Picture rotation
I'm developing a widget with WidgetKit, and I'm having a problem: I need to click on an image, and when I click it triggers a network request, the image automatically rotates clockwise, and when the network ends, the image automatically stops rotating. How to do that? My current idea is to click on the image and await the call to the network request. Should Toggle be used for the control corresponding to the picture? Because Toggle has two states. Then there is how to do image rotation, did not find support API.

macos 15.3.x local network restrictions leading to EHOSTUNREACH "No route to host"
Continuing with my investigations of several issues that we have been noticing in our testing of the JDK with macosx 15.x, I have now narrowed down at least 2 separate problems for which I need help. For a quick background, starting with macosx 15.x several networking related tests within the JDK have started failing in very odd and hard to debug ways in our internal lab. Reading through the macos docs and with help from others in these forums, I have come to understand that a lot of these failures are to do with the new restrictions that have been placed for "Local Network" operations. I have read through https://developer.apple.com/documentation/technotes/tn3179-understanding-local-network-privacy and I think I understand the necessary background about these restrictions. There's more than one issue in this area that I will need help with, so I'll split them out into separate topics in this forum. That above doc states: macOS 15.1 fixed a number of local network privacy bugs. If you encounter local network privacy problems on macOS 15.0, retest on macOS 15.1 or later. We did have (and continue to have) 15.0 and 15.1 macos instances within our lab which are impacted by these changes. They too show several networking related failures. However, I have decided not to look into those systems and instead focus only on 15.3.1. People might see unexpected behavior in System Settings > Privacy & Security if they have multiple versions of the same app installed (FB15568200). This feedback assistant issue and several others linked in these documentations are inaccessible (even when I login with my existing account). I think it would be good to have some facility in the feedback assistant tool/site to make such issues visible (even if read-only) to be able to watch for updates to those issues. So now coming to the issue. Several of the networking tests in the JDK do mulicasting testing (through BSD sockets API) in order to test the Java SE multicasting socket API implementations. One repeated failure we have been seeing in our labs is an exception with the message "No route to host". It shows up as: Process id: 58700 ... java.net.NoRouteToHostException: No route to host at java.base/sun.nio.ch.DatagramChannelImpl.send0(Native Method) at java.base/sun.nio.ch.DatagramChannelImpl.sendFromNativeBuffer(DatagramChannelImpl.java:914) at java.base/sun.nio.ch.DatagramChannelImpl.send(DatagramChannelImpl.java:871) at java.base/sun.nio.ch.DatagramChannelImpl.send(DatagramChannelImpl.java:798) at java.base/sun.nio.ch.DatagramChannelImpl.blockingSend(DatagramChannelImpl.java:857) at java.base/sun.nio.ch.DatagramSocketAdaptor.send(DatagramSocketAdaptor.java:178) at java.base/java.net.DatagramSocket.send(DatagramSocket.java:593) (this is just one example stacktrace from java program) That "send0" is implemented by the JDK by invoking the sendto() system call. In this case, the sendto() is returning a EHOSTUNREACH error which is what is then propagated to the application. The forum text editor doesn't allow me to post long text, so I'm going to post the rest of this investigation and logs as a reply.

iPad Bluetooth Keyboard Defaults to ANSI When Connected After App Launch (JIS Layout Issue)
I'm developing an iPad app and encountered a strange issue with external Bluetooth keyboards. Issue: I have a Bluetooth keyboard set to JIS layout in Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard > Keyboard Type. If I connect the keyboard before launching the app, everything works fine, and the input follows the JIS layout. However, if I launch the app first and then turn on the Bluetooth keyboard, the input behaves as if the keyboard is in ANSI layout, even though the settings still show JIS. It seems like iPadOS defaults to ANSI if no external keyboard is connected when the app starts, and later connections do not update the layout properly. Has anyone encountered a similar issue, and is there a programmatic way to ensure that the correct keyboard layout is applied after the keyboard is connected? Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!

My questions: How can I improve the loading time to populate the dynamic options in widget configuration via App Intent Here is my sample code for my current setup struct NewsFeedConfigurationIntent: AppIntent, WidgetConfigurationIntent { static let title: LocalizedStringResource = "Configure News Topic Options" static let description = IntentDescription("Select a topic for your news.") @Parameter(title: "Category", default: nil) var category: NewsCategory? } struct NewsCategory: AppEntity, Identifiable { let id: String let code: String let name: String static let typeDisplayRepresentation: TypeDisplayRepresentation = "News Topic" static let defaultQuery = NewsCategoryQuery() var displayRepresentation: DisplayRepresentation { DisplayRepresentation(title: LocalizedStringResource(stringLiteral: name)) } } struct NewsCategoryQuery: EntityQuery { func entities(for identifiers: [NewsCategory.ID]) async throws -> [NewsCategory] { let categories = fetchCategoriesFromAPI() return categories.filter { identifiers.contains($0.id) } } func suggestedEntities() async throws -> [NewsCategory] { fetchCategoriesFromAPI() } } func fetchCategoriesFromAPI() -> [NewsCategory] { let list = [ "TopicA", "TopicB", "TopicC", ....... ] return list.map { item in NewsCategory(id: item, code: item, name: item.capitalized) } }

Accuracy of IBI Values Measured by Apple Watch
I am currently developing an app that measures HRV to estimate stress levels. To align the values more closely with those from Galaxy devices, I decided not to use the heartRateVariabilitySDNN value provided by HealthKit. Instead, I extracted individual interbeat intervals (IBI) using the HKHeartBeatSeries data. Can I obtain accurate IBI data using this method? If not, I would like to know how I can retrieve more precise data. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here is a sample code I tried. @Observable class HealthKitManager: ObservableObject { let healthStore = HKHealthStore() var ibiValues: [Double] = [] var isAuthorized = false func requestAuthorization() { let types = Set([ HKSeriesType.heartbeat(), HKQuantityType.quantityType(forIdentifier: .heartRateVariabilitySDNN)!, ]) healthStore.requestAuthorization(toShare: nil, read: types) { success, error in DispatchQueue.main.async { self.isAuthorized = success if success { self.fetchIBIData() } } } } func fetchIBIData() { var timePoints: [TimeInterval] = [] var absoluteStartTime: Date? let dateFormatter = DateFormatter() dateFormatter.timeZone = TimeZone(identifier: "Asia/Seoul") dateFormatter.dateFormat = "yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.SSS" var calendar = Calendar.current calendar.timeZone = TimeZone(identifier: "Asia/Seoul") ?? .current var components = DateComponents() components.year = 2025 components.month = 4 components.day = 3 components.hour = 15 components.minute = 52 components.second = 0 let startTime = calendar.date(from: components)! components.hour = 16 components.minute = 0 let endTime = calendar.date(from: components)! let predicate = HKQuery.predicateForSamples(withStart: startTime, end: endTime, options: .strictStartDate) let sortDescriptor = NSSortDescriptor(key: HKSampleSortIdentifierStartDate, ascending: false) let query = HKSampleQuery(sampleType: HKSeriesType.heartbeat(), predicate: predicate, limit: HKObjectQueryNoLimit, sortDescriptors: [sortDescriptor]) { (_, samples, _) in if let sample = samples?.first as? HKHeartbeatSeriesSample { absoluteStartTime = sample.startDate let startDateKST = dateFormatter.string(from: sample.startDate) let endDateKST = dateFormatter.string(from: sample.endDate) print("series start(KST):\(startDateKST)\tend(KST):\(endDateKST)") let seriesQuery = HKHeartbeatSeriesQuery(heartbeatSeries: sample) { query, timeSinceSeriesStart, precededByGap, done, error in if !precededByGap { timePoints.append(timeSinceSeriesStart) } if done { for i in 1..<timePoints.count { let ibi = (timePoints[i] - timePoints[i-1]) * 1000 // Convert to milliseconds // Calculate absolute time for current beat if let startTime = absoluteStartTime { let beatTime = startTime.addingTimeInterval(timePoints[i]) let beatTimeString = dateFormatter.string(from: beatTime) print("IBI: \(String(format: "%.2f", ibi)) ms at \(beatTimeString)") } self.ibiValues.append(ibi) } } } self.healthStore.execute(seriesQuery) } else { print("No samples found for the specified time range") } } self.healthStore.execute(query) } }
