After the Update of Latest Command Line Tools 16.3 I am facing issue to compile C++ programs. Like it is giving some kind of library error in the MACOSX15.sdk file and this is the error.

But after downgrading the version to 16.2 it works fine. I can't understand that it's their any issue with Command Line Tools 16.3??

Hi, there's this point at which a beginner needs to beg for help.
Unable to open mach-O at path: /Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Binaries/RenderBox/install/Root/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/RenderBox.framework/default.metallib Error:2
I get this everytime I select a month and year on a custom date picker, I believe because I try to force the ".generateChartData()" for the chart to update.
I guess the problem might be that the ".onAppear" and ".onChange" are conflicting with each other?
}
.onChange(of: showDatePicker) {
viewModel.startDate = selectedDate
viewModel.generateChartData()
}
}
.onAppear {
viewModel.generateChartData()
}
There is an error when building binutils.

I am a developer working on an iOS enterprise application. When I deployed the release version to my device, it crashes upon startup. It works fine in debug mode on my device.
The app is an upgraded version of Xamarin Form to .NET MAUI.
I have attached a crash report.
I would appreciate any help/insights on how to resolve.

In the illustration on this page related to "Prefer system-defined colors," Light is incorrectly translated as "细体". However, in the context of this article, translating it as "浅色" (light color) would be a more appropriate choice.
Routinely I'll have additional questions when browsing the Apple Developer Documentation. Would be really convenient if we could just submit that feedback from the documentation webpage itself, Apple could have the data, and potentially down the line address it; but at least you'd have the data.
For example, I'm looking at the documentation for AttributedString: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/foundation/attributedstringprotocol/index(_:offsetbycharacters:)
Now, I would like to know what would happen if the distance brought the position past the end, what would be returned. Because it's non-optional which I imagine would imply nil would be returned if the parameters were invalid. But it doesn't say.
I run into these small missing behavioral details with some regularity and imagine others do as well. It would be really great if we could just submit that discrepancy and perhaps see some numbers on the page of the total number of discrepancies submitted or something so we can see that it's not just us and have some peace of mind that based on the amount of feedback submitted there's a higher chance that this discrepancy will be addressed in the future.
where can i find the account quota usage for WeatherAPI?
I just noticed that when you check the online documentation for Foundation using the delicious Objective-C flavor, some values are no more the expected ones:
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/foundation/filemanager/copyitem(at:to:)?language=objc#return-value
true if the item was copied successfully or the file manager’s delegate stopped the operation deliberately. Returns false if an error occurred.
Considering that a BOOL used to be YES or NO for the last quarter of a century, I have the following question:
[Q] What is the idea behind the disturbing changes of the Objective-C documentation?
This browser extension is a doc reading enhancer for the Apple Developer website.
It supports i18n translation, hover link previews, and bilingual display.
Currently, it supports four languages: ja-JP, ko-KR, zh-CN, and zh-TW.
It works with Swift/SwiftUI/Foundation modules now, and it's expected to support Swift Test, Swift Charts, UIKit, Swift Playground, and XCode modules by the end of this month.
For more info, check out: https://appledocs.dev.
You can also visit https://appledocs.dev/progress to see translation progress and vote.
Note: It's only works on Chrome、Edge(In review)、Firefox(In review)

I am trying to integrate Apple Music API using MusicKit and need to generate a Developer Token. However, when I try to create a new key from the Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles section, the “Media Services (MusicKit, ShazamKit, Apple Music Feed)” option is grayed out. We are getting the error 'there are no identifiers available that can be associated with the key.' Although we did checkmark 'musickit' in app services.
I have already:
Enrolled in the paid Apple Developer Program
Created a valid App ID under Identifiers
Logged in as the Account Holder
Tried multiple browsers and devices
Despite this, the option remains disabled. Could you please enable this or let me know what further steps I need to take?
Thank you!

Hi:
Apple's SDK (libSystem.B.tbd) provides definition for multiple symbols(__unw_add_dynamic_fde / __unw_add_find_dynamic_unwind_sections ), but doesn't provide corresponding headers, available in LLVM upstream as libunwind_ext.h
We need such headers to write Exception-Enabled JIT Framework for macOS
The project at hand is quite complex, and the link content is especially.
I suddenly saw this warning again in recent days and wanted to inquire about when this deletion would be done, so that our team could make preparations and plan in advance.
I'm on Mac Studio with Apple M1 Max and I recently upgrated to Sequoia 15.4. After that, Docker won't run anymore.
I tried almost all proposed solutions on the web to make Docker to work with Sequoia 15.4 (e.g. workaround at GitHub), without success.
Because of this, now I'm stuck in all of my development activities. For example, I cannot develop and deploy anymore my projects and applications.
What can I make to solve that?

Hi all,
I'm trying to integrate Apple’s DeviceCheck API into my Flutter iOS app. I already have everything set up on the backend — the Apple private key, key ID, team ID, and DeviceCheck capability. The backend is generating and signing the JWT correctly and making requests to Apple.
However, I’m currently stuck on the frontend (Flutter):
👉 How can I generate the device_token required by the DeviceCheck API (via DCDevice.generateToken) in a Flutter iOS app?
I understand that DCDevice.generateToken() must be called from native Swift code. I previously attempted to use a MethodChannel to bridge this in Swift, but would prefer not to write or maintain native Swift code if possible.
I've looked for a prebuilt Flutter package to handle this, but nothing exists or is up-to-date on pub.dev.
Main Question:
Is there any Apple-supported way to generate the device_token for DeviceCheck from a Flutter app without writing Swift code manually?
If not, is DCDevice.generateToken() the only possible approach, and must I implement this via Swift and Flutter platform channels?
Thanks!
Hi all,
I’m developing a watchOS app and have seen cases where the app is terminated by the system — for example, due to CPU usage limits being exceeded (watchdog termination). Here’s a portion of one of the crash reports:
Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGKILL)
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000
Termination Reason: CAROUSEL 2343432205
<RBSTerminateContext| domain:10 code:0x8BADF00D explanation:[app<app_name>:898] Failed to terminate gracefully after 5.0s
ProcessVisibility: Foreground
ProcessState: Running
WatchdogEvent: process-exit
WatchdogVisibility: Foreground
WatchdogCPUStatistics: (
"Elapsed total CPU time (seconds): 11.280 (user 9.800, system 1.480), 100% CPU",
"Elapsed application CPU time (seconds): 5.162, 46% CPU"
) reportType:CrashLog maxTerminationResistance:Interactive>
My questions:
1.) Is there any way to get notified (via Crashlytics, Xcode Organizer, or any other reporting mechanism) when this type of system-level termination happens — similar to how we’re notified of crashes?
2.)Is there any way for a watchOS app to receive runtime warnings from the system when it’s about to exceed CPU or memory limits — similar to UIApplication.didReceiveMemoryWarningNotification on iOS?
Thanks in advance!

We are looking for a platform or portal provided by Apple that allows us to track crashes, hangs, or other runtime issues faced by users while using our iOS/macOS application. This is similar to how we currently use Windows Error Reporting (WER) for our Windows application.
Important note: Our application is not distributed via the Apple App Store — it is delivered through enterprise distribution or ad-hoc provisioning.

I'm using Xcode 16.3 and I want to add the key "NSUbiquitousContainers" but I cannot do it in the Entitlements file, it should be in info.plist file! I have done it before but in previous versions of Xcode when the info.plist was in the project navigator.
However, now I cannot find the file and I did not find any way to create it!
Please guide me in detail how to proceed (I'm not new to Swift or SwiftUI but not familiar to project settings)?
How can I get the macOS version from the Mac Catalyst version? We're building Info.plist files ourselves but we need a way to programatically (using shell scripts) derive the LSMinimumSystemVersion key needed from the iOS deployment target.
