I am developing an Augmented Reality (AR) navigation application for the iPad, utilizing the ARCL library to place Points of Interest (POIs) in the real world.
The application's behavior varies significantly based on the device's networking configuration:
Cellular Network (Expected Behavior): On an iPad with a cellular modem, when using the cellular network, all POIs are placed accurately with correct orientation.
Wi-Fi Only (Expected Behavior): On a Wi-Fi-only model (no GPS chip), POI placement is inaccurate, confirming the need for an external GPS receiver for that hardware configuration.
Cellular + Wi-Fi (Anomalous Behavior):
The iPad is a cellular model (equipped with GNSS/GPS).
The device is connected to a Wi-Fi network (enforced via an MDM profile, preventing the user from disabling Wi-Fi).
When actively connected to this specific Wi-Fi network, the AR POIs consistently display with an incorrect orientation and placement, even though the device hardware has a dedicated GPS chip. The placement error strongly suggests that the device's determined location or heading is erroneous. It appears that the active Wi-Fi connection is somehow interfering with or overriding the high-accuracy GNSS/GPS data, leading to a flawed Core Location determination that negatively impacts the ARCL world tracking and anchor placement.
Has anyone experienced a scenario where an active Wi-Fi connection on a cellular iPad model causes Core Location to prioritize less accurate location data (potentially Wi-Fi-based location services) over the device's built-in GNSS/GPS, resulting in severe orientation errors? We observed that on Apple map(native application) as well it is showing wrong location and orientation when it is connected to WiFi

Saw this info: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/contacts/cncontactstore
But have no idea what I'm doing. This is a pressing matter and I need to determine the date/time contacts were originally created on my icloud account. I have tried the shortcuts method and it merely shows the date they were loaded into whichever device i'm logged in on if they were created a while ago
In the availability and pricing section, we have reviewed the plans and we will be upgrading to 50 or 100 million calls/month but before we do, we have a couple questions.
Does the API have rate limit or throttling?
Do you have additional weather forecast endpoints like hail, radar, or pollen forecast? I see in this thread https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/795642 that air quality is not available
Thanks
I am developing a simple watch app and I use my personal watch for development with Xcode. Personal watch is series 10 gps only.
I have two other watches that I want to use for testing the app, but not needing them to be connected to Xcode. The test watches have cellular option, and I need a cell plan per watch because the watches need to be standalone, not counting initial setup.
To get the standalone cell plan the watches need to be configured using AWFK. Here is what I have tried/current issues.
I switch between all three watches on my phone using the watch app.
Originally tried to put test watches in developer mode, thinking I would connect to Xcode, developer mode is not available when watch is setup using AWFK.
Pushed the watch app to apple connect, setup TestFlight group, added the test users and my phone user, accepted invites
TestFlight is installed on my phone, I see the testflight setup for the watch app
I set a test watch using watch app on the phone, run install for the test app from TestFlight on the phone, spinner moves for awhile then goes back to Install.
I am not able to get the watch app installed on the test watches from the phone. Is what I am attempting to do supported? I haven't found much specific documentation on this. If I pair the test watches as regular watches, set them to developer mode, can I pair them again as AWFK and will developer mode survive the switch? Or is there something really simple that I'm overlooking?
Appreciate any help that can be extended.
I am developing an iOS in-app SDK for collecting code coverage data. The SDK writes coverage data to a specified file by calling __llvm_profile_set_filename and __llvm_profile_write_file. This implementation worked correctly until I switched to Xcode 26.0 to build my project. Now, when __llvm_profile_write_file() is executed, it crashes with the following error stack. Can anyone provide any assistance?

Hi,
From App analytics, we found that our app crashed from time to time on users' devices despite that we have tested it thoroughly on our devices. We are doubt that it's the reason why we can't retain them. But how can we get the crash reports for the app installed on user devices? We have no users' emails and can't ask them directly.
iPhone does not show Xcode app when plugged to MacBook. Anybody know something about viewing your app on your iPhone? Thanks
My App cordova based hubrid app , which work fine till ios-17,
On iOS 18 , it shows blank screen untill the user touch or scroll the view

Looking for a dynamic table that displays the latest supported CLI versions with the version of macOS.
Specifically, is CLI 15.3 supported on Ventura 13.7.8?
More generally, what is the lastest version of CLI supported on macOS <version_goes_here>
I am working on an iOS app and I want to achieve on demand module download inside the app when the user clicks on the module icon which he wants to use.
The idea is that we have a super app consisting of multiple modules say four independent apps/features and I want to separate each one so that when the user selects a specific app/feature, it’s downloaded on demand and then opened directly within the same super app resulting in a lower app size initially
I want to upload all the code of all modules to app store connect but when the user downloads the app, then only one module's code should be available to the user, the rest of the module's code should be downloaded when the user wants to use that module. I know apple restricts downloading new code but in my case I want to upload all the code to app store for review but just give option to the user to get rest of the code when needed. Any guidance, architectural advice, or example implementations would be highly appreciated.

Hi All,
I have an App on AppStore, recently the minimum supported version of the app was changed from iOS 12 to iOS 14.
Post that the TestFlight builds are crashing on launch.
If we revert the minimum supported iOS version to 12, the crash no longer happens.
This project is using cocoapods, and from the crash logs it seems the issue with with PLCrashReporter framework.
"EXC_CRASH" Termination reason: DYLD 9 weak-def symbol not found '__ZN7plcrash3PL_5async15dwarf_cfa_stateljiE10push_stateEv'.
This issue is happening only on TestFlight builds where the minimum supported version is 14.0
Any pointer to a solution is welcome.
I admit I am doing something unusual, and I would not be surprised if it didn't work. I am surprised, however, because after performing the equivalent operations on four bundles, all of the bundles work fine on macOS 15.6.1, but only two of them work on macOS 26.1 (beta 2). I don't know what causes the different outcomes.
What I am trying to do is get Java to pass the macOS 26 AppKit UI SDK linkage checking without having to rebuild the JDK using Xcode 26. Rebuilding works for the latest SDK, but it is very inconvenient and may not work for older JDKs. It usually takes a while before the JDK build team successfully transitions to a new Xcode release.
My approach is to use vtool to update the sdk version in the LC_BUILD_VERSION load command of $JAVA_HOME/bin/java, which is the launching executable for the JDK.
I performed this operation on four JDKs: 25, 21, 17, and 11. (I ran vtool on macOS 15.)
It was completely successful on JDK 25 and 21. The JDK launches correctly on macOS 15 and macOS 26. On macOS 26, AppKit uses the new UI, which is the desired outcome. The JDK runs despite that fact that I signed the modified $JAVA_HOME/bin/java with my developer ID, which is inconsistent with the JDK bundle signature. (Redoing the bundle signing is part of the JDK build process; if that were necessary, I would stick with rebuilding the JDK.)
The operation was not successful on JDK 17 and 11. I noticed two problems, which are not obviously related.
When vtool created the new version of the java program, it lost the tool definition.
$ vtool -show-build-version java
java:
Load command 10
cmd LC_BUILD_VERSION
cmdsize 32
platform MACOS
minos 11.0
sdk 11.1
ntools 1
tool LD
version 609.8
$ vtool -set-build-version 1 10.0 26.0 -output a.out java
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/vtool warning: code signature will be invalid for a.out
$ vtool -show-build-version a.out
a.out:
Load command 22
cmd LC_BUILD_VERSION
cmdsize 24
platform MACOS
minos 10.0
sdk 26.0
ntools 0
Adding back the tool definition didn't seem to matter.
When I try to run the revised executable (in the context of the JDK bundle), it works on macOS 15, but on macOS 26, it is rejected as damaged. If I run the revised executable outside the JDK bundle, it runs (but fails because it can't find the rest of the JDK, which is expected).
In all cases, GateKeeper rejects the revised executable because it has not been notarized, but that doesn't seem to stop the program from executing.

We are considering the development of a new service, We would like to ask for detailed information on the feasibility of the following.
Is it possible to encapsulate only xcframework, such as encapsulating xcframeworkA into xcframeworkB? If the above is possible, will the application incorporating the xcframework in the above state pass the review of apple?
I want to test different types of journaling suggestions, like for example photo/video containing ones but as a developer I have no control over what's shown in the Journaling Suggestions sheet. And this makes it really difficult to develop or test any suggestion type other than "reflection". Please let us have a fake suggestions sheet that includes all kinds of suggestion types so we can test. We could toggle it under Developer settings I think.

Hello
I developed an app for my cousin (I wrote all the code myself), but she’ll be the one managing it once it’s published. She’ll take care of the content, updates, and anything admin-related.
Right now, the app uses my Firebase account and my Apple Developer account (App Store Connect), which I set up at the start of the project.
I’m wondering:
• Am I at risk legally or financially if the accounts stay under my name, even though I won’t be involved in the app after release?
• Is it possible to migrate the project to her email, meaning transfer Firebase and the Apple Developer account to her own account, so that everything is properly under her control?
Thanks in advance for any insights or experiences
