Hi everyone, I’m sharing this because I’ve been stuck with this issue for over two weeks, and I still haven’t found a solution — or received a meaningful response from Apple Support. A yellow banner has appeared on my account saying: “The Apple Developer Program License Agreement has been updated and needs to be reviewed.” But here’s the problem: I’ve already accepted the latest agreement long ago. When I log into both: App Store Connect Developer Portal …there’s no new agreement to accept, no prompt, no button — absolutely nothing new. The yellow banner simply refuses to go away, and it's preventing updates. I’ve already: Cleared cache & cookies Tried Safari, Chrome, Firefox Logged in from different devices/networks Verified that I am the Account Holder Reported the issue via Apple Developer Support (more than a week ago) Despite clearly stating the urgency of the matter, I’ve received no fix and no timeline. This is beginning to feel like developers’ time — especially for those who depend on timely releases — isn’t being taken seriously. I'm using Apple's MDM protocol InstalledApplicationListCommand to get information about installed apps. From iOS/iPadOS 26, the app information obtained by InstalledApplicationListCommand includes information on all apps including system apps (apps that come standard with iOS/iPadOS). https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/installed-application-list-command I want iOS/iPadOS26 to get the same information as the app information I get from the previous iOS/iPadOS, and I want to exclude system apps from the app information I get with the InstalledApplicationListCommand. As a way to exclude system apps, you can use the app ID I'm thinking of a way to exclude anything that starts with "com.apple" (the Identifier key value of the InstalledApplicationListResponse.InstalledApplicationListItem object). As a way to exclude system apps, please tell us whether the above method is appropriate and whether there will be any problems in the future.

We’ve run into what looks like a gap in how forceAirDropUnmanaged is enforced on iOS devices. Setup: Device: iOS 17.x (unsupervised, enrolled in MDM) MDM Restriction: forceAirDropUnmanaged = true Managed Open-In restriction also applied (block unmanaged destinations). Verified: from a managed app, the AirDrop icon is hidden in the share sheet. This part works as expected. Issue: When two iOS devices are brought close together, the proximity-initiated AirDrop / NameDrop flow still allows transfer of photos, videos, or files between devices. In this path, forceAirDropUnmanaged does not appear to apply, even though the same restriction works correctly in the standard sharing pane. What I’d expect: If forceAirDropUnmanaged is enabled, all AirDrop transfer paths (including proximity/NameDrop) should be treated as unmanaged, and thus blocked when “Managed Open-In to unmanaged destinations” is restricted. What I observe instead: Share sheet → AirDrop hidden ✅ Proximity/NameDrop → transfer still possible ❌ Questions for Apple / Community: Is this a known limitation or expected behavior? Is there a different restriction key (or combination) that also covers proximity-based AirDrop? If not currently supported, should this be filed as Feedback (FB) to request alignment between share sheet AirDrop and NameDrop enforcement? This behaviour introduces a compliance gap for organisations relying on MDM to control data exfiltration on unsupervised or user-enrolled devices. Any clarification or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I would like to ask a question regarding documentation related to app sales. Currently, I’m researching the sales process for an app and realized that I lack sufficient understanding when it comes to creating official documents such as estimates, invoices, and receipts — especially when dealing with corporate clients. In our company’s case, we can issue documents based on the net revenue (after platform fees are deducted). However, when issuing these documents to a client, would it be more appropriate to include a breakdown showing both the platform fee and the app usage fee? I would greatly appreciate any insights or examples of how others have handled similar situations. Thank you in advance.

I encounter a connection error with Apple Configurator v2.18 when, after making changes in macOS Sequel 15.6.1, I want to apply and transfer the changes to the iPhone icon layout in iOS 26: Apple Configurator v2.18 crashes and returns an error message: ‘Try the operation again. If it fails, quit the application, launch it again, and try again. [NSCocoaErrorDomain – 0x1001 (4097)]’ I have done some research, and it seems that this bug has been identified and fixed in Apple Configurator 2 v2.19 (Build 10434). Have you encountered this problem? Do you know where to find version v2.19? This fixed version does not appear to have been released yet, and Apple support has been unable to help me. Dear Apple Developer Team, Following the rollout of iOS 26.x and the introduction of the iPhone 17, we have identified a critical issue affecting Mobile Device Management (MDM) enrolment and restore operations. The issue appears to stem from the Device Management Profile configuration 'do_not_use_profile_from_backup' within Apple Business Manager (ABM), which currently defaults to False. This setting should be modified to True to ensure proper functionality. When the profile remains set to False, organisations leveraging MDM encounter repeated failures during device backup and restore operations. Specifically, restoring a supervised or managed device triggers a persistent MDM registration loop, effectively preventing deployment of iPhone 17 devices in managed environments. We recommend that Apple review and adjust the default Device Management Profile property within ABM to address this issue and restore full MDM compatibility for iOS 26.x and later.

We are experiencing a critical issue where VPP app installations are consistently taking an excessive amount of time, leading to significant delays in asset association. License Availability: We've verified that there are sufficient VPP licenses available for the apps being deployed. Device Status: We've attempted the following on the affected devices: Restarted the devices. Switched to different Wi-Fi networks. Uninstalled and re-installed the apps. App Status: The issue is not limited to a single app; all VPP apps are failing to install. License Revocation: We attempted to revoke and reassign licenses for some devices, but this did not resolve the issue. The app was not pushed, and the pending status remained. Troubleshooting: Through our internal investigation, we have determined that the core issue is that the Asset Association Status is consistently taking excessive time. This seems to be preventing the app installation queue from processing. We have observed a significant delay in the processing of events within the Notification Channel. The time between the event being created and a response being received is excessively long, indicating a potential backlog or issue. I've tried everything I can think of, forums, reddit, Microsoft documentation.... just can't find any clear cut method of doing this. I'm working on an InTune Mobile App Protection Policy. I know there are going to be some VPs out there asking why they can't use native iOS Apps, especially Apple Calendar, Contacts & Mail. I have not been able to get anywhere, I always end up with this error. Things I've tried: Allow sync of native apps with work account Putting in app exemptions (But I don't truly know if I know if I have the right values for this and there's no simple way of getting it from what I've seen. Having to download app to PC, finding config files, finding specific values.... that people say are hit or miss). Allow data transfer of ALL Apps What am I missing here? I'm pretty much giving up and just going to say sorry, you can't use Native apps.. Period! Anyone have any experience with this, especially for Mail, Calendar & Contacts? We are managing VPP license switching operations using Apple's VPP Manage Licenses API. License information is managed by matching the “clientUserIdStr” data with the VPP account ID information managed on the server side. We received an inquiry stating that a VPP license did not activate despite the activation process being performed. Upon checking the API results, the update API returned a success status during execution. However, the “clientUserIdStr” information was missing from the license information field in the response of the information retrieval API. Hi I am trying to develop Apple MDM solution as a vendor. I got the Vendor certificate from apple developer portal. When I was trying to generate the csr and upload to Portal (https://identity.apple.com/pushcert/) It says Invalid Certificate Signing Request. I had also tried to follow documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/setting-up-push-notifications-for-your-mdm-customers) but still the same error. Can anyone please guide how to generate the csr.

The Center for Innovation in Education created a reading program designed to teach every single child to read, regardless of any supposed difficulty in learning. The Center conducted a ten-year study of its Reading Program’s effectiveness. Over those ten years, the Center placed 2,048 Reading Program kits in classrooms across America. More than 300,000 children took part in the Center’s study. Results: The Reading Program taught every single child to read in every single classroom, every single year, regardless of any child’s supposed reading readiness - including dyslexic, autistic, and even Down syndrome children. No failures then or in any of the many years that have followed. Despite the Program’s success, educational publishers refused to publish it. Their refusals will be explained and hopefully counteracted in a book that is scheduled to be published in 2026. In response to publishers’ refusal to make the program available, the Center made it available as a free download from its website. The Center also made its program available as 14 free iPad apps. While the apps can be searched for individually by their unique names, since the apps are interrelated and meant to complement one another, the first keyword assigned to all 14 apps was the same. That same keyword is still in its first position for every app. The first keyword listed for each of the 14 apps is the word “Dekodiphukan”. That meant-to-be hard-to-read search word has worked well every year since the apps were introduced. However, in June of this year, that search term could find only 1 of the 14 apps. We reported this problem to Apple Support on June 26th. It is now November, and the problem remains unresolved. The only response we receive each time we ask for an update on the resolution of this problem the answer every time is: Reported search issues of this type require extensive review by Apple to determine whether it is valid and to confirm the appropriate action. There is no other response. No update has ever been sent to us. There is no phone number I can find to call. It was suggested to me by someone I spoke with in a different department at Apple Developers that I post my problem on the Developer Forum, in hopes that someone here can provide a suggestion for a way around this problem. Parents and teachers wishing to use our Reading Program with their children should not have to enter 14 different names to access our Reading Program.

Hi everyone, We manage several macs through Microsoft Intune. We've deployed Platform SSO using the password based method (not the Secure Enclave) and have also enforced filevault encryption through policy. What we're trying to achieve is that multiple users can log into the same Mac. For example, I (the initial enrolling user) can log in without issues. However, we want a colleague to be able to log in as well if they're physically in front of the mac. The challenge we've run into is that once filevault is enabled (We're not sure about it but reading on forums it seems that the problem is filevault), it seems the network is not available at the login screen. This means that while the first user can create a mobile account and log in, a second user can't do the same. The moment we try to log in with another set of credentials, we get an immediate error and the password field shakes instantly, suggesting it's not even reaching out to the network or directory to validate the credentials. We'd like to confirm if this behavior is expected when FileVault is active and whether the only solution is to disable FileVault or if there are alternative solutions to allow network connectivity at the login screen. Essentially, we want to know if there's a way to let a second user log in without having to turn off disk encryption. Or if we can pre-authorize a set of users on the mac in order to create all the mobile account needed.. Thanks in advance! Thomas

The same builds run if installed from Xcode on the same devices. This is a regression from pre-iOS 26 versions where Enterprise builds installed via MDM launched normally. Steps to Reproduce Archive an iOS app and export for Enterprise (In-House) distribution. Deploy the .ipa via MDM using InstallApplication to a device on iOS 26 beta (e.g., 23A5297m). Tap the app icon to launch. Actual Result The app quits instantly on launch. System logs show launchd/runningboard errors, including NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=85 (“Bad executable (or shared library)”): runningboardd(RunningBoard)[34]: Process start failed with Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=85 "Bad executable (or shared library)" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Launchd job spawn failed} runningboardd(RunningBoard)[34]: Launch failed with Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=85 "Bad executable (or shared library)" SpringBoard(FrontBoard)[35]: Bootstrapping failed ... NSUnderlyingError = { NSLocalizedDescription = Launchd job spawn failed; } Expected Result Enterprise-signed builds installed via MDM should launch as they did on iOS 25.x and earlier. Regression? Works on iOS versions prior to 26. Works on iOS 26 betas when installed from Xcode (developer-signed run). Fails only for Enterprise (In-House) builds delivered via MDM. Additional Notes / Possibly Related We also reproduced a similar failure mode with a minimal Safari Web Extension project: it installs and appears under Settings → Safari → Extensions, but enabling it and opening Safari produces: “ is no longer available.” Building a fresh project with a new bundle ID shows the same behavior on iOS 26 beta (23A5297m). Logs contain: Error occurred during transaction: The provided identifier "" is invalid. Running from Xcode (debug build) works. Workarounds None identified for Enterprise/MDM distribution. Only Xcode-installed builds run. Impact Blocks Enterprise deployment to our fleet on iOS 26 betas. Feedback / Attachments Included: sysdiagnose from an affected device, minimal Xcode project demonstrating the issue, Enterprise-exported app, and reproduction notes. As we know, we can't add restrictions payload in the mobileconfig when registing the device. We are developing MDM by ourselfs, met some trouble. Please help.

Details: Device: iPhone 12 Pro Max System: iOS 26.1 beta 2 Issue Description: When testing MDM device restriction capabilities on iOS 26.1 beta 2, I found that the allowCamera restriction does not work as expected. Observed Behavior: • On a BYOD device: When allowCamera is set to false, the Camera and FaceTime apps disappear from the Home Screen, as expected. However, third-party apps (such as WeChat) can still access the camera and take photos. • On earlier versions (e.g. iOS 26.0.1): Setting allowCamera to false correctly blocks all apps, including third-party apps, from accessing the camera. Initially, I assumed Apple might have changed this restriction behavior so that allowCamera only applies to supervised devices. However, after testing on supervised devices, I found that even there, when allowCamera is set to false, the Camera and FaceTime apps are hidden, but third-party apps can still use the camera. This indicates that the restriction is not functioning correctly in iOS 26.1 beta 2. Expectation: When allowCamera is set to false, all camera access — including third-party apps — should be blocked. Request: Could someone from Apple’s development or MDM team confirm whether this is an expected behavior change or a potential bug in iOS 26.1 beta 2?

We initially considered MicroMDM, but since official support will end in December 2025, we are evaluating NanoMDM. I would like to confirm: Is NanoMDM a stable and production-ready option for long-term use with Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE)? Does NanoMDM support all essential features like: Supervision Remote wipe App deployment Configuration profiles Are there any limitations or known issues with using NanoMDM? Are there any other open-source or lightweight MDM solutions Apple developers recommend that are actively maintained? We are aiming for a reliable, secure, and future-proof self-hosted MDM setup.
