Last year I used the iOS Distribution Managed Certificate (Enterprise Program) to sign an App and to distribute it internally. The Cert is still valid until May 2026. But its associated Provisiong Profile (which is not visible in the Apple Portal, but within Xcode when you export your archive) expired last week. Until then it was impossible for me to somehow force renew the profile and that lead to the fact that my app was not usable for a day, because the renewal was done after the expiration of the old one. Whats the whole point of the managed signing if can't influence the provisioning update. To be clear: I don't speak about the certificate - just about the profile. Or am I using it wrong?

Hi I am trying to develop Apple MDM solution as a vendor. I got the Vendor certificate from apple developer portal. When I was trying to generate the csr and upload to Portal (https://identity.apple.com/pushcert/) It says Invalid Certificate Signing Request. I had also tried to follow documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/setting-up-push-notifications-for-your-mdm-customers) but still the same error. Can anyone please guide how to generate the csr.

We have an office application used internally within our enterprise. The Provisioning Profiles (PP) for the app were about to expire, so we updated the PP and released a new version. However, we've encountered an issue where some users did not update their phones in time. After the app expired, they found it unusable and downloaded the new version, but the newly downloaded app also crashes on launch. Hello, I write my bachelor-thesis about geolocation data on an iPhone. I write a small app to get the actual coordinates and saved into a sqlite database. so far so far. Now I have a GPS-generator from R&S to simulate gps-data and satellites. I can simulate 6 satellites parallel to my "fake" geolocation. I write the app also on an Android -smartphone, this Android can display the Satellites-ID and the "fake" geolocation..thats fine for my thesis. But my iPhone would not display anything I this setup? During outside the app would be deliver the actual coordinate, but with the signal.genarator I can't get coordinates. I try GPS, Glosnass, Galileo and Beidoo but nothing happens on my iPhone 12mini. The IOS is 18.1 and I use the core Location api. Has anybody some ideas for me and my thesis?

I am creating a prototype with the new Screen Time API introduced by Apple. The issue I am facing is, Applications installed in child device is not showing in parent device with FamilyActivityPicker. It is showing in Child device and apps can be shielded from child's device. Can some one describe, how to list the apps in parent's device. Both Device are running in iOS 15.3. Both falls in same family group Child is under 13 yrs old Screen Time enabled in both device and parent device can see child in Screen Time.

We are encountering a campus-wide problem where Macs are take an unusually long time to delete files on external drives formatted with ExFAT. We manage these Macs through Jamf Pro, and numerous policies are applied when the devices are enrolled. We have tested the issue in both scenarios—when the Macs are connected to the domain and when they are not—and the slow deletion persists in both cases. At this point, we are unsure whether the issue lies on our end or if it is related to the operating system itself. If anyone has found a fix or workaround for this problem, we would appreciate your input.
