SKErrorDomain Code 2 Problem
We are facing a serious issues with in app purchases in our app. We offer 3 IAP: auto-renewable subscription 1W, auto-renewable subscription 1Y, non-consumable one-time purchase (LifeTime access) In our case 90-95% of transactions fail and we mostly get SKError code=2 . Sometime purchase fails several times for the same user so it’s very hard to believe that user intentionally cancels transaction for the same product 4 or even 5 times in a row. It happens regardless iOS version, device model, our app version. We've checked multiple threads with the same issue but coudn't find any solution. We do not offer any promotions, product identifiers are valid... Some users are able to make a purchases without any issues.

Key Details: Multiple users confirm being charged twice for single transactions. Complaints are increasing in frequency, indicating a potential systemic issue. No overlapping reports from non-AlipayHK payment methods at this time. To safeguard customer trust and ensure seamless payment experiences, we kindly request Apple’s support in: Investigating whether the root cause stems from Apple Pay’s transaction handling. Collaborating with AlipayHK (if necessary) to resolve the issue promptly. Providing guidance on interim measures to prevent further duplicate charges. Could Apple confirm if this is a known issue and share a timeline for resolution? We’re eager to assist in any way possible to mitigate impact on users. Same same originalTransactionId, productId, but the transactionIds are different.
We are seeing an issue with a potential duplicate charge issue regarding our app. We have received two transactions with the same originalTransactionId but different transactionIds: Order A: TransactionId: [Redacted_TID_1] OriginalTransactionId: [Redacted_OID_A] ProductId: weekly_subscription PurchaseDate: [Redacted_Timestamp_1] SignedDate: [Redacted_Timestamp_2] Price: [Redacted_Price] CAD Order B: TransactionId: [Redacted_TID_2] OriginalTransactionId: [Redacted_OID_A] ProductId: weekly_subscription PurchaseDate: [Redacted_Timestamp_1] SignedDate: [Redacted_Timestamp_3] Price: [Redacted_Price] CAD Both transactions share the same originalTransactionId, productId, and expiresDate, but the transactionIds are different. We wanna confirm: Were customers charged once or twice for this subscription renewal? If only one charge was made, how should we programmatically determine the “valid” transaction among multiple records with the same originalTransactionId to avoid confusion in our server-side receipt validation? We appreciate any clarification so we can handle this correctly in our backend.

How do you get user consent for ConsumptionRequest?
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreserverapi/send_consumption_information If the customer provided consent, respond by calling this API and sending the consumption data in the ConsumptionRequest to the App Store. If not, respond by calling this API and setting the customerConsented value to false in the ConsumptionRequest; don't send any other information. Since our server would be receiving CONSUMPTION_REQUEST server notifications and will be the one calling the Consumption API, how do we know if the user has provided consent? That info doesn't seem to be in the server notification or anywhere else.

The property Product.displayPrice does not display the correct price
Hi, I'm new to AppStore Connect, and I'm learning how subscriptions work. I'm finalizing my first app, but on my TF, I'm having some issues with the price: it's always displayed in US dollars on my paywall. When I tap "subscribe," the Apple sheet correctly offers the price in euros. I'm using Product.displayPrice to display the price in my paywall. The documentation did mention it is The localized string representation of the product price, suitable for display. So, is it normal in my case for the price in dollars to be displayed and not the price in euros like the Apple sheet? Thank you in advance for your help.

Promotional offer does not work, gave error code 3903
I tried to apply a promotional offer to a subscribed user. When I tested it in the Sandbox environment, it did not show the promotional payment popup but returned a “restored” status. IAP working in StoreKitTest on XCODE but not in TestFlight – shows mapped error "Product not available"
Hey everyone, I'm currently preparing an older iOS app for App Store release that includes a non-consumable In‑App Purchase using StoreKit 2. Everything works perfectly in the StoreKitTest environment inside Xcode – the product loads, the purchase flow runs, the transaction verifies. However, when I run the same app through TestFlight, I always get the error: ❌ Product not available - mapped to Here’s what I’ve already checked: ✅ The product ID is correct and matches what’s in App Store Connect (case-sensitive). ✅ The IAP is created in App Store Connect and includes: Title Product ID Price Tier Screenshot for review ✅ The App Store "Paid Applications" agreement is active. ✅ The app is using the correct bundle ID. ✅ I'm using Product.products(for: [productID]) from StoreKit 2. ✅ I’ve implemented fallback and retry logic (e.g. reload after delay). ✅ All IAP logic is wrapped in @MainActor and async-safe. As the App got Rejected on Review, the IAP is also now in the Rejected Status. Now the IAP shows status: 🟠 "Developer Action Required" And App Review rejected the IAP with the message: "Your first In‑App Purchase must be submitted together with a new app version." But if I add the App to the Test again and therefore the IAP, then the app will get Rejected again for App Completeness, IAP does not work... Subscription upgrade during trial with a pending crossgrade: does remaining trial time get forfeited and is the prior plan refunded?
I’m implementing subscriptions and running tests, and I noticed a behavior I’d like to confirm. Plans in the app Basic — Monthly Basic — Annual Premium — Monthly Premium — Annual Test environment Sandbox (where ~1 day ≈ under 1 minute of real time) steps Start Basic (Monthly) using an introductory offer (free trial). Create a crossgrade to Basic (Annual) (scheduled/queued). 3.After receiving a RENEWAL App Store Server Notification indicating the plan will move from trial to paid Basic (Annual), but before the trial actually expires, upgrade the user to Premium (Monthly). Observed behavior (Sandbox) & questions Even though there is still up to ~1 day of trial remaining (≈ under 1 minute in Sandbox), upgrading to Premium (Monthly) immediately ends the trial and activates the paid Premium plan right away. Will this same behavior occur in Production? If yes, is this the expected/acceptable behavior when upgrading during an active trial after a pending crossgrade? Note: If we upgrade to Premium before the RENEWAL notification arrives, the remaining trial time is carried over in our tests. In this flow, we see a RENEWAL notification for Basic (Annual) (moving from trial → paid), but then the user immediately upgrades to Premium (Monthly) and the trial ends at that moment. In Production, would the charge for Basic (Annual) be refunded automatically since the user effectively switches to Premium immediately (and Basic Annual does not remain active)? In Sandbox there’s no real charge, but I want to ensure we won’t see a situation in Production where Basic (Annual) is billed and not refunded, even though the subscription effectively moved to Premium right away. Inquiry regarding StoreKit Messages for Free Trial Conversion and Recurring Payment Consent in South Korea
Dear Apple Developer Support, Our iOS application offers subscriptions with a free trial period. We understand that in South Korea, due to local subscription regulations, users must explicitly provide consent for recurring payments before the subscription converts from a free trial to a paid period. We have the following questions regarding how StoreKit handles this scenario: When a free trial is about to convert to a paid subscription for a user in South Korea, does StoreKit send a StoreKit.Message (or SKStorefront.Message) to the application to obtain the required consent for recurring payments? If such a message is sent, would the Reason for this message be StoreKit.Message.Reason.priceIncreaseConsent, or would it be another specific reason related to initial recurring payment consent after a trial? If our application receives such a message and we choose to defer its display, what is the maximum recommended or permissible deferral period? Is it possible to save the data of a received StoreKit.Message and display it to the user at a later time, for instance, after the application has been closed and subsequently reopened? Are there any best practices or limitations regarding this? We need this information to ensure our application correctly handles these consent requirements in compliance with South Korean policies and provides a smooth user experience. storefront.countryCode is fixed to USA in iOS 26 beta
Whether using Storefront.current?.countryCode or SKPaymentQueue.default().storefront?.countryCode, both are returning "USA" only. (It used to return the correct country code before the update.) In the sandbox environment, the country code is returned correctly, but in the TestFlight environment, it always returns "USA". There's no mention of this behavior in the beta release notes, so I'm posting it here for visibility.

Issues with Promotional Offers — Purchase Fails or Discount Not Applied
I am developing and testing Apple Promotional Offers and encountered issues during implementation. Purchase Failure When using the following API, the promotional purchase sheet is displayed, but after attempting payment, the transaction fails. API: public static func promotionalOffer( offerID: String, keyID: String, nonce: UUID, signature: Data, timestamp: Int ) -> Product.PurchaseOption Observed behavior: Alert shows: Unable to Purchase [Environment: Xcode] Not Eligible for Offer Console logs: AMSErrorDomain Code=305 ASDErrorDomain Code=3903 Discount Not Applied When calling this API, there are no errors, but the promotional price is not applied, and the user still sees the original price. API: public static func promotionalOffer( _ offerID: String, compactJWS: String ) -> [Product.PurchaseOption] Questions Does Promotional Offers support testing with .storekit files in Xcode? Can Promotional Offers be tested with sandbox accounts using real offers configured in App Store Connect? How should I troubleshoot and resolve the above issues? • Could it be related to the subscription history of the sandbox account? • Do I need to use TestFlight instead of Xcode to test certain scenarios? • Could this be caused by signature parameters or StoreKit configuration?

"StoreKit Testing in Xcode" certificate is not trusted on iOS 26
Hello. I have setup a StoreKit testing in the app that was and still is perfectly working on iOS 18. Unfortunately when run on iOS 26 the following error gets printed in the console after calling Transaction.currentEntitlement(for:) method: Failed to verify certificate chain due to client recoverable failure: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-67843 "“StoreKit Testing in Xcode” certificate is not trusted" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=“StoreKit Testing in Xcode” certificate is not trusted, NSUnderlyingError=0x109de7e10 {Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-67843 "Certificate 0 “StoreKit Testing in Xcode” has errors: Root is not trusted;" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Certificate 0 “StoreKit Testing in Xcode” has errors: Root is not trusted;}}} I'm not seeting any StoreKit Testing certificates in phone's certificate trust settings. This test was performed on iOS 26.0 (23A341) with app built in Xcode 16.4. FB20339145

subscriptions before submitting a review
We distribute apps that offer auto-renewing subscriptions. In order to test a new service, we would like to create a new subscription group and subscription product (hereinafter referred to as “test subscription”) for this app. If the “In-app purchase statuses” of the test subscription is “Ready to Submit” is the following behavior correct? ・General end users cannot purchase the test subscription. ・Users with SANDBOX Apple accounts can purchase the test subscription.

Recurring subscriptions return with an "Unknown Error" fail message
Testing recurring subscriptions in a new release in both development environment and in Test Flight, we see an increased percentage of failed calls returning from Apple server. The return failure message is that an unknown error occurred. The behavior is not consistent and most often we get a failure and another attempt succeeds. We do get around 50% failures which is alarming and cannot be explained to the end user. We have also experimented with previous test versions that are in production currently and we see the same behavior, so this is not isolated to the most recent release we plan nor to a specific application we have. Past testing in previous releases did not return such high percentage of failures from Apple server. Have you encountered such an issue? We have no idea what may cause Apple server to return with this "Unknown error" and there is no log we can consume from Apple subscription service. Appreciate your help on this.

Failed to get productIdentifier from StoreKit
I am currently developing an auto-renewal subscription in-app purchase for my app. Currently, the subscription items have already been approved in appStoreConnect, and the .store file is synced with appStoreConnect, so the subscription items are displayed well and the test is also progressing well. However, when I build without using the .store file to perform sandbox testing, the subscription items do not appear and response.invalidProductIdentifiers appears. Is there anything I need to do additionally so that the subscription items can appear in response.products? ps. The bank account item in the contract is in 'processing' status, and the paid app contract status is 'waiting for user information'.

Can Promotional Offers be tested with sandbox accounts using real offers configured in App Store Connect? How should I troubleshoot and resolve the above issues? • Could it be related to the subscription history of the sandbox account? • Do I need to use TestFlight instead of Xcode to test certain scenarios? • Could this be caused by signature parameters or StoreKit configuration?

Testing price change for the auto-renewing subscriptions
We are considering a price change for the auto-renewing subscriptions we currently offer in a Production environment and have made system modifications to our servers. We would like to implement a price change for purchases made through our SANDBOX Apple account in order to test if our system is capable of handling the price change.

"StoreKit Testing in Xcode" certificate is not trusted on iOS 26
Hello. I have setup a StoreKit testing in the app that was and still is perfectly working on iOS 18. Unfortunately when run on iOS 26 the following error gets printed in the console after calling Transaction.currentEntitlement(for:) method: Failed to verify certificate chain due to client recoverable failure: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-67843 "“StoreKit Testing in Xcode” certificate is not trusted" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=“StoreKit Testing in Xcode” certificate is not trusted, NSUnderlyingError=0x109de7e10 {Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-67843 "Certificate 0 “StoreKit Testing in Xcode” has errors: Root is not trusted;" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Certificate 0 “StoreKit Testing in Xcode” has errors: Root is not trusted;}}} I'm not seeting any StoreKit Testing certificates in phone's certificate trust settings. This test was performed on iOS 26.0 (23A341) with app built in Xcode 16.4. FB20339145

We distribute apps that offer auto-renewing subscriptions. In order to test a new service, we would like to create a new subscription group and subscription product (hereinafter referred to as “test subscription”) for this app. If the “In-app purchase statuses” of the test subscription is “Ready to Submit” is the following behavior correct? ・General end users cannot purchase the test subscription. ・Users with SANDBOX Apple accounts can purchase the test subscription.

Recurring subscriptions return with an "Unknown Error" fail message
Testing recurring subscriptions in a new release in both development environment and in Test Flight, we see an increased percentage of failed calls returning from Apple server. The return failure message is that an unknown error occurred. The behavior is not consistent and most often we get a failure and another attempt succeeds. We do get around 50% failures which is alarming and cannot be explained to the end user. We have also experimented with previous test versions that are in production currently and we see the same behavior, so this is not isolated to the most recent release we plan nor to a specific application we have. Past testing in previous releases did not return such high percentage of failures from Apple server. Have you encountered such an issue? We have no idea what may cause Apple server to return with this "Unknown error" and there is no log we can consume from Apple subscription service. Appreciate your help on this.

Failed to get productIdentifier from StoreKit
I am currently developing an auto-renewal subscription in-app purchase for my app. Currently, the subscription items have already been approved in appStoreConnect, and the .store file is synced with appStoreConnect, so the subscription items are displayed well and the test is also progressing well. However, when I build without using the .store file to perform sandbox testing, the subscription items do not appear and response.invalidProductIdentifiers appears. Is there anything I need to do additionally so that the subscription items can appear in response.products? ps. The bank account item in the contract is in 'processing' status, and the paid app contract status is 'waiting for user information'.
