How do I determine whether a framework contains bitcode?
Hi there I've recently had my upload rejected in Xcode Organizer as a result of one of the frameworks we use containing bitcode. Error: [ContentDelivery.Uploader.XXXXXXXXXX] Validation failed (409) Invalid Executable. The executable 'Sam.app/Frameworks/Foo.framework/Foo' contains bitcode. Is there an accurate way to determine whether an .xcframework contains bitcode ahead of time without using Xcode Organiser? My current methodology is below, please can I get some confirmation that this is accurate, or suggest a more efficient approach? I have concerns about my approach and whether it throws false positives for empty bitcode markers. 1. get original framework size 2. run xcrun bitcode_strip -r framework_path -o temp 3. get new framework size 4. if new size is smaller than original, then it contains bitcode Thanks for the help, Sam

Dynamic Links Not Working After App Installation
Hi everyone, I’m encountering an issue with Firebase Dynamic Links in my app that I’m hoping someone can help me with. Everything was working perfectly before, but recently, I’ve run into a problem. Here’s the scenario: If the app is not installed and a Firebase Dynamic Link is clicked, the user is correctly redirected to the app store to install the app. Once the app is installed and opened for the first time, the dynamic link doesn't work. The app doesn't open to the correct content or link that was clicked. I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps with no success: Verified that the app is configured properly in Firebase and that the Dynamic Links settings are correct. Checked the app's deep linking settings and ensured everything matches with the Firebase setup. Confirmed that the Firebase SDK is up-to-date. Attempted to clear app cache and reinstall. Tested the links in both debug and production modes. Despite trying all these steps, the issue persists. Has anyone else faced this issue before or have any suggestions for how to fix it? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

zsh终端中执行python3或pip3命令,弹出Install Command Line Developer Tools弹窗安装
OS:macOS15.5 CPU:Apple M1 Pro zsh终端中执行python或pip命令,提示未找到命令,但执行python3或pip3命令,预期也是提示未找到命令,实际结果弹出Install Command Line Developer Tools弹窗安装,网上查阅资料,删除/usr/bin/python3、/usr/bin/pip3、/usr/local/bin/python3、/usr/local/bin/pip3文件即可达到预期,但无权限删除/usr/bin/python3与/usr/bin/pip3文件,尝试过root账号、进行系统恢复模式暂时禁用SIP解决方案,都无法解决;🙏大佬指点一二;

IOS dylib to vision pro (Unity)
Hi, I am trying to bring an existing Unity app to vision pro, and am trying to make all of the librairies compatible (the project loads native libs at runtime). For some of them, there is an arm64 IOS .framework file that seems to build and be found easily in the device, but for one of them I only got a .dylib. When building on xcode, it tells me it can't find it. So I added it to the lib search path in build settings, and it built. But on the device, it still can't seem to find the .dylib : Library not loaded: ./libpdfium.dylib Referenced from: <59B1ACCC-FFFD-3448-B03D-69AE95604C77> /private/var/containers/Bundle/Application/0606D884-CB09-44CA-8E4F-4A309D2E7053/[...].app/Frameworks/UnityFramework.framework/UnityFramework Reason: tried: '/usr/lib/system/introspection/libpdfium.dylib' (no such file, not in dyld cache), './libpdfium.dylib' (no such file), '/usr/lib/system/introspection/libpdfium.dylib' (no such file, not in dyld cache), '//libpdfium.dylib' (no such file) I am not used to Apple environment, is there a way to correctly reference this .dylib (not talking about compatibility here, just the first "lib found" step) ? Thanks.

How to implement background notifications with action buttons (Accept/Decline) in iOS Flutter app?
I am developing a Flutter app for food delivery (a multivendor e-commerce restaurant app). In the vendor app (Android), I successfully implemented a background notification that stays active until the vendor responds with either Accept or Decline. This works fine on Android, but I cannot get the same functionality working on iOS. My requirements: Vendor should receive a background notification. The notification should include action buttons (Accept / Decline). It should remain active until the vendor takes action. My questions: Is this possible to implement in iOS with Flutter? If yes, what is the recommended way (e.g., firebase_messaging, flutter_local_notifications, flutter_foreground_task, or native iOS integration)? Are there any iOS restrictions I should consider compared to Android background services? I built this for Android using firebase_messaging + flutter_foreground_task + flutter_local_notifications. On iOS, I tried setting up firebase_messaging and flutter_local_notifications, but I’m unable to keep the notification persistent with Accept/Decline action buttons. I expected similar behavior to Android, but it seems iOS has more restrictions around background services and notification handling. Dependencies I am using (relevant ones): firebase_core: ^3.8.0 firebase_messaging: ^15.1.5 flutter_local_notifications: ^17.2.2 flutter_foreground_task: ^8.17.0 get: ^4.7.2 shared_preferences: ^2.3.2

Apple SDKs should provide libunwind_ext.h on macOS
(Copy pasted from FB17261080 that I submitted) Hi: Apple's SDK (libSystem.B.tbd) provides definition for multiple symbols(__unw_add_dynamic_fde / __unw_add_find_dynamic_unwind_sections ), but doesn't provide corresponding headers, available in LLVM upstream as libunwind_ext.h We need such headers to write Exception-Enabled JIT Framework for macOS

App crashes on start in TestFlight
Hi, I have a .NET MAUI app running on .NET 9. When I test locally in debug or release mode it works perfectly fine, but when testing from TestFlight it crashes almost immediately every time. I have sent the crash report to TestFlight and produced the symbolicated.crash file (attached), but I'm not sure it's helpful for understanding how to fix the issue. If anyone can help me understand what the issue might be and any possible fixes it'd be very much appreciated. I'm developing using Visual Studio 2022 paired to my Mac. I have distributed previously without issue, but now can't seem to, even after reverting recent code. net9.0-ios 15.0 symbolicated.crash

Localizing your apps
TL;DR version: AkVox - “Your App in Your User’s Language” Quickly and easily localize your app into as few or as many languages as you want with AkVox. Longer version: AkVox can localize any Xcode project. Simply drag your Exported Localizations folder into AkVox, click translate, then export, and you’re ready to import the translated localizations catalogs back into Xcode. Alas, you cannot import the whole localizations folder as one, you must import each catalog individually, a process that takes around 10 seconds per language. AkVox can also assist you when you’re ready to publish your app on App Store Connect. You can create a list of texts you will enter to promote your app and AkVox will translate them. Again, you can’t apply all your translations to the App Store in ne go, you have to apply each language individually. To make this task less painful, AkVox has a convenient set of buttons to make the copy and paste process as quick and simple as possible. The same arrangement is available when you come to add “mini texts” during setting monetization subscriptions. AkVox employs Google Cloud Translate which means you will need an API Key to be able to run full translations. However, Google offers a generous monthly allowance of 500,000 characters to be translated for free each month. This may well mean that you don’t ever pay for the translation process, just the very low price to use AkVox. The free version of AkVox simulates translating by substituting jumbled versions of Hamlet’s “To be or not to be” speech – this is instead of utilising what would normally be used in this case, the tediously dull Lorem Ipsum text. To see AkVox explained in detail, go to the website: https://akvox.com/

AppleClang adds `/usr/local/include` to application search folders
By default, AppleClang adds /usr/local/include to the application search folders for include files (as opposed to the system include dirs). This causes problems with the expected include order because application search folders always have priority over system includes. Specifically it causes problems with the conan package manager as library includes are added with -isystem This behaviour differs from LLVM mainline clang and GCC, where /usr/local/include is a system include (added with -internal-isystem). Steps to reproduce - run echo 'int main() { return 0; }' | clang -xc -v - the output is as follows Apple clang version 17.0.0 (clang-1700.0.13.5) Target: arm64-apple-darwin24.5.0 Thread model: posix InstalledDir: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin "/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/clang" ... -isysroot /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk -I/usr/local/include -internal-isystem /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/local/include ...

【Urgent/ Please help me out】Is it OK to encapsulate xcframeworkA into xcframeworkB (encapsulation of xcframework only)?
We are considering the development of a new service, We would like to ask for detailed information on the feasibility of the following. Is it possible to encapsulate only xcframework, such as encapsulating xcframeworkA into xcframeworkB? If the above is possible, will the application incorporating the xcframework in the above state pass the review of apple?

iOS AppPresser app logs out automatically after any period of time (Android works fine)
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully helping me. https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/gdl-graded-darts-leagues/id1592502150 I created a mobile app using AppPresser that is connected to my WordPress website. The iOS app is logging users out when they close the app and go back to it. The login session does not persist, and users are forced to log in again frequently. This happens at any time period between closing and opening the app. This only happens on iOS — Android keeps the session active as expected. I don't know if I've included this post in the correct topic, sorry. Thanks again for any ideas and assistance!

[REQUEST] for a tool/method/guidance how to create privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) when you don't have Xcode/mac
Hello, PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy Is primordial and without it the app is rejected from the Store I believe. All 5 ressources I had found related to it, mention XCODE, or explain how to add the code to langages that I don't use (Switf i think?) etc. I am building the app thought CI/CD, so prior to building it the app does not have privacy manifest and there is not way to generate it automatically without xcode it seems. My app is written in Flutter prior to becoming an iOS app. I am seeking for a method to do that. Thanks.

Update metadata for an already submitted feedback
I submitted a Feedback (FB17843422) on Monday evening after the keynote about Tahoe beta 1. At the time it still wasn't listed in the "What build does the issue occur on?" dropdown. I selected "I'm not sure" instead hoping I could update it later but as far as I can tell that isn't the case since "Add more information" only lets me add additional comments. Is there some way for me to do that or is it even necessary?

Add static c library to xcode/swift
Hi, I want to build an ios app that uses static c libraries. For reference, i did the following as a test: Compiled a simple c date and time program with clang -c -arch arm64 -sysroot <iPhoneOSSDK_path> date.c -o date_arm64.o Created the static lib ar rcs libdatetime_arm64.a date_arm64.o Added the lib in my Xcode project. Added the (.a) file in Build Rules -> Link Binary With Libraries Included the (.a) and (.h) file path in Build Settings -> Search Paths -> Header and Library Search Path Created a Bridging-Header.h file where I added #import "date.h" In my App.swift file, I called the function for getting the date and time let dateTimeStr = String(cString: get_current_datetime()) print("Current Date and Time: \(dateTimeStr)") After doing all the steps above, I am met with the error - Cannot find 'get_current_datetime' in scope Is there any other method to use static c libraries in xcode?

Feedback Assistant: „This Feedback will no longer be monitored, and incoming messages will not be reviewed.“
Every now and then I get this very frustrating message on Feedback Assistant. For instance, in FB14696726 I reported an issue with the App Store Connect API. 4 weeks later, I got a reply, asking among other things for a „correlation key and Charles log“. I immediately replied saying that I didn‘t know what those are, and they replied After reviewing your feedback, it is unclear what the exact issue is. I pointed out that I had asked a question which was left unanswered, and they replied explaining what the correlation key is. Then I asked again what the Charles log is. They replied The Apple Developer website provides access to a range of videos covering various topics on using and developing with Apple technologies. You can find these videos on our Development Videos page: http://developer.apple.com/videos. I opened the link and searched for „Charles“ but there were no results, so I asked to kindly point me to the video answering my question. They replied 3 months later (today): Following up on our last message, we believe this issue is either resolved or not reproducible with the information provided and will now consider this report closed internally. This Feedback will no longer be monitored, and incoming messages will not be reviewed. This is not the first time I ask for clarification and get back a message basically telling me that „we won‘t answer any questions you may have and won‘t hear anything you still may have to say about this issue“. They didn‘t even ask me to verify if the issue is resolved or not, like they sometimes do. No, they just shut the door in my face. I just wanted to share this frustrating experience. Perhaps an Apple engineer wants to say something about it or a developer has had a similar experience?
