The vision is to provide: A modular interface where users can enable/disable tools as needed. Smarter workflows with proactive suggestions based on context (time, location, task). AI-powered interaction through voice and Apple Intelligence (Advanced Siri). Benefits: Reduces icon clutter on the Home Screen. Simplifies the user experience with a single access point. Creates opportunities for automation and accessibility. Imagine saying: “Hey Siri, record a quick note and measure the table” — and the app smartly loads those modules on demand. we’ve identified that our PDF rendering pipeline leverages the native CGPDFDocument APIs to convert PDF pages into images. However, in the latest release of iOS 18, the provided document fails to render even at the CGPDFDocument level. Our analysis suggests that the issue may stem from the embedded custom fonts not being correctly processed in this version of the iOS platform. This appears to be consistent with several other reports and discussions around font rendering problems introduced in iOS 18, particularly involving subset fonts. We’ve attached a collection of relevant community threads and references, including: Apple Developer Discussion: Subset Font Rendering Issue in iOS 18 Given that our implementation is tightly coupled with Apple’s native PDF rendering APIs, this issue presents a blocking limitation for us. Vendor analysis: 8K60 shows no image; switching to 30 Hz works normally → After analysis, we found that the 8K60 timing output from the MacBook is incorrect. The horizontal blanking (H-CBlanking) is too small to accommodate the audio data, so the RTD2191E does not output video to the monitor. → This issue does not occur on Windows platforms, confirming that this is a host-side issue.

Hello. I’m on iOS 26. I’m very protective over my children’s phone and use screen time religiously. ios 26 does have delete history grayed out , but there’s a glitch! You’re able to swipe and delete history under the bookmarks history and tabs section. Also if you type in a website like Walmart, it will bring it up and then allow you to swipe to the left and hit the red delete history and it shows up nowhere in your history! please help me find a fix for this!! i do allow safari but definitely want to be able to check the websites being viewed!!! also - iOS 26 does not let u block apple.comunder your not allowed websites. Which means they can now use Apple Maps and third party browser on Apple.com for example under the simple weather app before I had Apple blocked to where none of this could be accessed through stock apple apps! i appreciate any help!!!

So, I'm new to Swift, but I'm trying to get my app idea off the ground and am trying to find a way to create the main module of the app - two users see in real time, where the other one touches their screen. So, each of them see a red dot light up on their screen wherever the other one touched it. Ideally dot should change in diameter based on the pressure of the touch.

But this GUI Glitch makes the otherwise very high-quality tvOS GUI appear very unprofessional. Could you please help me? 🤔

I'm preparing my submission for the Swift Student Challenge, and I have a couple of questions regarding the development environment. Is it allowed to use Xcode to program my scene, or do I have to use Swift Playgrounds? Can I use iPadOS 18 for development? I noticed that Swift Playgrounds currently only supports up to iPadOS 17.5, but I would like to use RealityView, which is only available starting from iPadOS 18. I paid for my developer account on the 13th of June 2024 (1 week ago). My ID was approved. However, I still don't have access to the account. When I go to check the status of it, it is asking me to pay again. I then tried to email the team, however only received useless, timewasting responses, such as "Please go to developer.apple.com/enroll to enroll for an apple dev account", which I already told them prompts me to pay again and verify my ID again. I then tried to call them, and they said they had to re-verify my ID and would call me back in 10 mins, but I never received a call back. I also couldn't call them again because it wouldn't let me request another call from them. I then emailed them, but still haven't received a response. The next day I tried to request another call from them, during their opening hours at Thursday 4pm AEST, (they are open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm AEST see https://developer.apple.com/support/worldwide-telephone-hours/) however it still says that "Phone support is currently unavailable". I tried to email them but now I am getting no responses at all. I tried to contact the apple support through the iMessage chat, however I was only put on call with a lady who was helpful, but couldn't even do anything as she was only generic support. She couldn't even schedule me a call or transfer me to the developer team, even though it was within their working and calling/support hours. I have tried to refund my developer account, but apparently that purchase is "illegible for a refund". This is the treatment I get from apple for paying $100 USD. An entire week of being left on blank. I don't know what to do. I paid 100 bucks for an account which I can't even use, and the support hasn't helped me for an entire week. I don't know if this is the right place to raise this, so apologies if not. For years now, I have exported an NFS share from a host Mac which I connect to from a Raspberry Pi on the same network. I configure this by adding a line in /etc/exports - /Users/Pi -mapall=myusername This has always worked flawlessly, but since updating my Mac (M4 Mac Mini) to Sequoia 15.5 last week, it has developed a problem. If the NFS share is not accessed from the Pi for five minutes, it dies, and the Pi's file manager locks up necessitating a complete reboot. If I run a script on the PI which does an ls on the mounted share every 5 minutes, the lockup does not happen. But if I extend the period to 6 minutes, the lockup occurs. Something on the Mac NFS server seems to be dying in an unrecoverable fashion after five minutes of idle. Even with nfsd logging set to verbose, there is nothing helpful in the console logs. I am open to suggestions to further investigate or to try and fix this, but this is basically a showstopper for me - I need to be able to share data between Mac and Pi, and this is now broken.

Reproduction Steps: Long-press the app icon Select "Require Face ID" Choose "Hide and Require Face ID" to hide the app Go to the App Library and locate the hidden app in the "Hidden" folder Uninstall the hidden app reinstalling the hidden app After reinstalling the app, all configured URL Schemes will become invalid, causing failure when attempting to open the app via URL Scheme. The issue appears to be that after uninstalling a hidden app and reinstalling it, the system fails to restore the app's URL Scheme functionality.

Recently update my 15 pro max to ios 26.2 and now 90% of the apps are not working. No payment app is working. Even G Map and G Drive isnt working. Amazon is down. I am not able to use UPI or even pay electricity bill.

just updated macos to 15.5 beta 2, cannot login anymore! i reach the login screen, i enter the correct password, the loading bar stops at around 10%, after about 1 minute the system restarts, it return to the login screens, and so on… any suggestion about debugging this type of situation?

From the date the app was updated, the step count data retrieved from HealthKit was strange. On the other hand, step count data from the date before the update is imported normally. After deleting and reinstalling the app, the problem did not occur. Is there anyone who has experienced something like this or knows the cause?

Why can’t Apple just release a version that put the most frequent used emoticons in the most left side of the emoticons keyboard??? Each person always uses the same 20 or 30 emoticons. How this could be reported to developers? Thx
