Hey guys, I've been searching high and low for some clarity when it comes to this topic. Essentially, what is the legality/risk of using apple music previews in my app. Does Apple license the previews meaning they are fair to use as long as I link to that URL? Do i need to license every song individually? I can not find anything concrete out and while the apple team let my app (that currently plays preview urls) on the app store I know that doesn't necessarily legally cover me. Any input is appreciated, i know this is a pretty niche area.

Can iOS support Bluetooth trackpad?

iPadOS 26 Dev Beta 1 - need to do a restore via DFU mode. I made sure iPad in normal mode shows up in Finder and I can see device details. When I boot into DFU mode (I have kept the ipad connected to mac), it does not show up in Finder. No matter what combination of plugging/unplugging cables, rebooting, again into DFU mode, it will not show up in Finder. Looking for steps to resolve this, or do I need to wait until beta 2 to resolve this?

Under multiple display screens (left and right screens), when a commonly used app application clicks "Window" -> "Move to..." When it comes to this, the app cannot be completely moved to the other window but instead moves to the middle of the two Windows for display. Is this a bug of the system?

After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty. Bugs ? Passpoint connections are established and function correctly, with network communication unimpeded. However, a display issue where the SSID field is blank is present on macOS versions 13 through 15 inclusive. Hello, I have a question regarding the ethernet-over-USB-C stack within iOS/iPadOS. It seems that when manually assigning an IP on this interface within iOS, the IP is stored. Therefore, when disconnecting (the USB-C cable) and reconnecting to another device for a subsequent ethernet connection, the iOS device will always default to the previously assigned IP address (obviously, this isn't the case if the other end is a DHCP server). So, within the iPhone's Ethernet-over-USB-C driver, I was curious if iOS just keeps the assignment based on the MAC of the local USB-C interface, or is stored information tied to some other identifier? Is there a way to override this behavior? Thank you

Back in December 2024 I noticed when I go through the steps to print I would get an error to cancel or retry. We have 4 iPhones and 3 had the newest IOS and those 3 would get the same error. The phone that had old ios 17 something the print would work. Called Apple and did troubleshooting, the opened something on apples end for the developer to investigate. Within 2 weeks a new ios was available and fixed the issue on the 3 phones that could not print. I did the latest update February and March 2025 on all 4 phones thinking no way the issue will happen again and if did all 4 phone cannot print. Is there an iOS bug that is affecting printing ios 18.3.2.

Based a quick research, comfort and fit, noise cancellation issues and durability seems to be the most consistent issues with pilot headsets. I wouldn’t say there is a problem here, because you can easily throw out the faulty headset and spend another $1000 on a new one. However, what if apple can profit by introducing their version of pilot headsets? Besides, most airlines use Apple iPads for Navigation, crew scheduling etc. Make it a one stop shop. Apple already has the framework for music headsets, why not use it as a base for pilot headsets? Disrupt an already stagnant market and give pilots a great alternative. Tap into the interests of a new generation of pilots again most which already uses Apple products. Come up with a new fresh look of ‘pilot comms.’ A good idea is to pitch to the GA (general aviation) industry maybe include Apple headsets with the purchase of a new aircraft.

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to edit the bootps.plist which is in the system / library directory. I have an M4 MacBook running OS 15.3.2 and I've held down the power button to go into recovery mode, and in terminal entered the 'csrutil disable' command and have restarted but when I go back to 'get info - Sharing & Permissions' I can't change any of the permissions. I need to be able to edit this file to create DHCP server. How can I change edit permissions on the bootps.plist?
