I am trying to connect to a google worksheet with a service account and have added the GoogleAPIClientForRest (Drive and Sheets) and GTMSessionFetcher (Core) dependencies to my project. However, this code
import GoogleAPIClientForRESTCore
import GTMSessionFetcherCore
func test() {
let x = GTLRServiceAccountCredentials.self
let y = GTLRAuthorizer.self
print("Classes Found")
}
I get the the following errors: Cannot find "GTLRServiceCredentials' in scope and Cannot find 'GTLRAuthorizer' in scope.
The dependencies are listed in the Link Binary with Libraries section.
I have am using the latest versions of OS and Xocod and have reinstalled both to try and resolve this issue with no luck.

Hello, I am trying to enroll to apple developer program as solo developer. While trying to enroll via app my passport and drivers license are not validated. When trying to enroll via web, I fill in the details and try to make the payment, but payment itself is not deducted from my bank account. I receive email that payment is being processed, but nothing further happens.

We are a technical team of a large enterprise whose main business depends on internally developed iOS applications. Our Apple enterprise developer account expires on February 16th, and we filled in the renewal application form before that, but it was rejected by Apple. We contacted the Apple consultant through Apple's official website, and they said that the enterprise department is a separate department, and they could not solve my problem. Later, after efforts, I directly contacted the email address of the enterprise department, and I explained our situation. After their review, the final plan still could not renew, but only extended the use of our P12 certificate, and the maximum extension was one year in the end, so that we can deal with the application that is being distributed by the enterprise as soon as possible. May I ask if there is any better way to successfully renew my account? We only extended the certificate, which is not what we want, but this is the only way at present. If there is a good way to communicate, please check my personal information and have my email address for communication. Thank you all

I'm totally baffled by the changes Apple made on iOS18 about certificates usage in the built-in mail application.
They decided that self-signed are not accepted any more, fine. As long as you can install your own root CA and trust it, it should be fine.
But NO! They have also decided that mail will only accept IMAP servers using a domain name, no more just and IP address. So you can't get any IP-based certificate that will be accepted by the mail app, even with the right SAN and al.
I've tried two "identical" certs, one with a domain and one with an IP and the domain works while the IP fails, being rejected as non-valid by the app. The most funny part is that the IP cert is good enough to configure mail (can see the successful login), but is being rejected when reading emails.
I'm really fed up with the "Apple police" that wants to push us not using our own storage anymore. My se case is simple, I have an IMAP server that is used by family to archive all emails and keep them organized, saved forever and away from being scanned.
I need to access that server either when locally connected or through VPN. For VPN, I use split tunnels because I don't want all traffic to go to tunnel. Nor do I want to create my own local DNS server and have all VPN clients use such DNS server only for the sake of having a domain name for the IMAP server. Nor do I want to open an external port to redirect to my IMAP server (that works of course as then I can use DDNS ...). Talk about increased security!
This is insane
Hi,
I am testing my app with TestFlight. The app is developed with React Native Expo.
Step 1: Log into the app – everything works fine.
Step 2: Use the app – everything works fine.
Step 3: Close the app without logging out, just close it.
Step 4: Remove the app from the recent apps window.
Step 5: Try to open the app again, but it requires login again.
I don’t understand why the login parameters are not retained and why the app asks me to log in again.
Code used for login handling:
import AsyncStorage from "@react-native-async-storage/async-storage";
useEffect(() => {
const loadToken = async () => {
const token = await AsyncStorage.getItem(TOKEN_KEY);
if(token) {
axiosInstance.defaults.headers.common['Authorization'] = `Bearer ${token}`;
try {
const response = await axiosInstance.get('/auth/check');
const data = response.data;
setSession(token);
setUser(data.user);
} catch (e) {
setSession(null);
setUser(null);
}
}
}
loadToken().then(() => setIsLoading(false));
}, []);
Important Note:
This issue only occurs when we switch to production. In the test environment, everything works fine, and we don’t experience this problem. However, as soon as we build for production and test on multiple devices, this issue appears.
Thanks in advance!

It works if Bluetooth is on for a long time, is there any problem?
I'm developing an app using beacon and Bluetooth, and I have to operate the app in the background, and after spending the weekend, I have to detect the beacon and revive the app. I can see that there is an app in the background, but the app is not coming back to life.
How can I solve this problem?
Or is the OS team working on something to block it?
The test model is Iphone16Plus.

Hi everyone,
I am developing a VoIP calling feature in my Flutter app, using:
Agora RTC Engine for real-time calls.
CallKit & PushKit (VoIP notifications) for iOS call handling.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for notifications.
Problem: CallKit UI Stays on Screen When Caller Hangs Up (Background/Terminated)
I am using Firebase notifications to notify the receiver that the call should be dismissed, but it doesn’t work in the following cases:
App is in the background – CallKit UI remains stuck even after receiving the Firebase notification.
App is terminated – The Firebase notification does not trigger any background execution, so CallKit UI stays forever.
Current Implementation
I send an FCM notification to inform the receiver to dismiss CallKit UI.
When received in the foreground, it works fine (callEnded method is triggered).
But in background or terminated state, the notification is not received or doesn’t execute the code.
I enable to visit the googleUrl , But My Terminal Can’t Click The http://www.google.com ( Use ping http://www.google.com ) . My Popose is to downloading the homebrew , Can’t download ,so I use ping .
By the way , I successfully ping http://www.bing.com

I wish to see ELGATO Capture 4K APP come to APPLE TV in the feature of 2025 https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new ?
Hi all, after installing ios 18.4 beta here in Europe (and also resetting and restoring my iphone given Apple Intelligence features were not working at all initially) my phone decided to reoptimise my whole photo library which took a while and I understand it was a battery consuming process. Nonetheless, this is all done, all Apple intelligence features supposedly work and my phone is still in ongoing device setup burning through the battery to the point I am sure this will make my battery health drop.
does anyone know what is going on (indexing?), how long it will take and why is it happening? Is it because of the 18.4 beta or because of having Apple Intelligence for the first time?
can someone please confirm that at the very least this will NOT have to take place again after moving to the official 18.4?
thanks

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to edit the bootps.plist which is in the system / library directory. I have an M4 MacBook running OS 15.3.2 and I've held down the power button to go into recovery mode, and in terminal entered the 'csrutil disable' command and have restarted but when I go back to 'get info - Sharing & Permissions' I can't change any of the permissions. I need to be able to edit this file to create DHCP server.
How can I change edit permissions on the bootps.plist?

I am trying to connect to my openbsd server. The command works over local network (I am identified by public key) but fails over remote network.
I get the following error :
$ ssh -vvv sylvain @ saboua.xyz
OpenSSH_9.8p1, LibreSSL 3.3.6
...
debug1: Authenticator provider $SSH_SK_PROVIDER did not resolve; disabling
debug3: channel_clear_timeouts: clearing
debug1: Connecting to saboua.xyz port 22.
ssh: connect to host saboua.xyz port 22: Operation timed out
A solution I gues would be to use brew's LibreSSL 4.0, but I cant find how to use it instead of the system LibreSSL.

How did my contacts suddenly end up on iCloud when I didn't give permission to do such? Where is your security and privacy commitment for your own software, Apple? No wonder celebrities get hacked. They hack 1, and then you get a list of phone numbers and emails for a whole bunch of other A-listers.
Hi! I am a 3rd year accounting student trying to install an SAP gui onto my brand new Macbook Air. Every time I download the app, it refuses to open and pops up with this error.
"CODESIGNING 1 Taskgated Invalid Signature"
I have Java installed for it and have followed my professor's directions, so it should be working. Can someone help me?

Hello Apple Developers,
I am experiencing an issue where USB audio input (e.g., external USB microphone) is blocked when using AirPlay screen mirroring from my iPhone to a Mac or Apple TV. However, the built-in microphone continues to work without any problem.
Issue Details:
I am using an iPhone 15 (or latest device) running iOS [your iOS version].
I connect a USB audio interface/microphone via a USB-C adapter or Lightning adapter.
The USB microphone works perfectly for audio input before starting AirPlay.
The moment I enable AirPlay screen mirroring, the USB microphone stops working, and it disappears from available audio input sources.
The built-in microphone continues to function, but I cannot use the USB microphone while mirroring.
When I stop screen mirroring, the USB microphone immediately becomes available again.
Expected Behavior:
I would expect iOS to allow me to continue using an external USB microphone while mirroring my screen, just like it allows the built-in microphone to work.
Questions:
Is this an intentional restriction in iOS?
Is there any workaround to enable USB audio input while using AirPlay screen mirroring?
Is there a way to request a feature or configuration option to allow external USB microphones during AirPlay?
I appreciate any insights or guidance from the Apple team or fellow developers. Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
