Hi all, I’m testing Subscription in my Flutter app on a real iOS device (iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 18) via TestFlight. I’ve set everything up as required, but I still get this error: flutter: Found products: [] If everything works perfectly when StoreKit configuration is used in Xcode, but not via TestFlight. All my Subscriptions are approved with the same ID.

Auto Renew Subscription Model
Hi, I want to offer an auto-renewable subscription (e.g., $1/month) that grants users (10 document analyses per month), with the count resetting at the start of each billing cycle. -Unused analyses will not roll over to the next month- Additionally, any analyses generated while the subscription is active will remain accessible to the user permanently, even if they cancel the subscription. The paywall, app description, and metadata will clearly state that the subscription grants (10 document analyses per month with no rollover) We want this to be implemented as an auto-renewable subscription model, not as a consumable service or a token/credit system (which we want to avoid). Is this model acceptable under Apple’s guidelines, or would it be considered a token/credit system? Any insights or alternative suggestions would be appreciated.. Thanks

Reporting your App Store Server Notifications issue
To receive server notifications from the App Store, follow the instructions in Enabling App Store Server Notifications. If your server doesn’t receive any notifications, check your server logs for any incoming web request issues, and confirm that your server supports the Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 protocol or later. If you implement version 2 of App Store Server Notifications, call the Get Notification History endpoint. If there is an issue sending a notification, the endpoint returns the error the App Store received from your server. If your issue persists, submit a Feedback Assistant report with the following information: The bundleId or appAppleId of your app The date and time your issue occurred The raw HTTP body of your notification The affected transactionId(s) if applicable The version of App Store Server Notifications (i.e., Version 1 or Version 2) The environment (i.e., Production or Sandbox) To submit the report, perform these steps: Log into Feedback Assistant. Click on the Compose icon to create a new report. Select the Developer Tools & Resources topic. In the sheet that appears: Enter a title for your report. Select “App Store Server Notifications” from the “Which area are you seeing an issue with?” pop-up menu. Select “Incorrect/Unexpected Behavior” from the “What type of feedback are you reporting?” pop-up menu. Enter a description of your issue. Add the information gathered above to the sheet. Submit your report. After filing your report, please respond in your existing Developer Forums post with the Feedback Assistant ID. Use your Feedback Assistant ID to check for updates or resolutions. For more information, see Understanding feedback status.

SKAdNetwork 3.0 postbacks are not being delivered.
Hi To test SkAdNetwork, I installed the profile from the documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/testing-ad-attributions-with-a-downloaded-profile) on my ios device. and turned off and on Allow Apps to Request to Track to change the idfa value. In this state, I installed the app (bundle id: id436731843) using SKAdNetwork with the following values at April 8th AM 01 (UTC) SkAdnetwork version: 3.0 fidelity fidelity=0, nonce=b3346a51-f7b5-42a2-a508-775a62317c83, timestamp=1744076349671, signature=... fidelity=1, nonce=b3346a51-f7b5-42a2-a508-775a62317c83, timestamp=1744076349672, signature=... itunesitem=436731843 network=87u5trcl3r.skadnetwork sourceapp=1220307907 I was hoping to get a postback after , but after a day, the postback is still not delivered. Any idea why the postback is not delivered? Thank you

Best way to share subscriptions between iOS and watchOS apps
I'm working on a watchOS app that has an iOS counterpart. There will be a subscription required to unlock functionality and I would like the user to be able to make the purchase on either the iPhone or the watch and have both apps unlock. The first link below says that StoreKit 2's Transaction.currentEntitlements will not work in this case like it does with extensions. The second link says it might work but doesn't in the sandbox. What is the best way to make this work? Will it just work in the App Store? Should I use WCSession to send the purchase information from one platform to the other and store it in the keychain? Something else? Via https://www.revenuecat.com/blog/engineering/ios-in-app-subscription-tutorial-with-storekit-2-and-swift/ "Transaction.currentEntitlements can be used in extensions the same way it was used in the previous steps. This works for extensions like Widgets and Intents. However, an iOS app with a companion watchOS app will not work even though Transaction.currentEntitlements can be executed in it. A companion watch app does not stay updated with the same transaction history as its iOS app because they are separate platforms." Via https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/739963 "In TestFlight I was able to confirm that the Watch app and IOS app share in-app purchases. It seems the problems confirming this with Storekit and Sandbox are limits of the testing environments."

Advanced Commerce API – 5000000 "Unknown error" when calling Migrate API
We've been approved for the Advanced Commerce API. After receiving the approval, we completed the initial setup requirements (submitted a generic product ID and shared our subscriptions page deep link). When testing the Migrate Subscription to Advanced Commerce endpoint in the sandbox, we receive a 5000000 error. What could be the reason/s for it? There is no information, and the API call we make includes all required parameters. Could it be related to the fact that our new generic product ID status is "Missing Metadata"? Is there a way to understand what the issue is on Apple's side?

Strange Pattern of Subscriptions + Refunds — Possible Abuse?
Hi everyone, I'm an indie developer and recently noticed some odd behavior in my app's subscription metrics. There’s been a sudden spike in annual subscriptions, which is very unusual for my app — historically, users rarely choose that option. What’s more concerning is that these subscriptions are almost immediately canceled and refunded. Upon checking analytics (RevenueCat + App Store Connect), I also noticed inconsistencies in user location data: users appear to be from one region (like Singapore), but deeper tracking shows actual usage from Vietnam, a market I’ve never targeted and where I do no advertising. This behavior seems coordinated and is affecting my app’s refund rate, which I worry could raise red flags on the App Store side. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Is there a recommended way to report suspicious subscription/refund activity to Apple or prevent potential abuse like this? Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!

react native iap not providing the subscription information
I am handling the buy subscription with this function const handleBuySubscription = async (productId) => { try { await requestSubscription({ sku: productId, }); setLoading(false); } catch (error) { setLoading(false); if (error instanceof PurchaseError) { errorLog({ message: [${error.code}]: ${error.message}, error }); } else { errorLog({ message: "handleBuySubscription", error }); } } }; but the requestSubscription({ sku: productId, }) does not return anything, and it is stuck at await

IAP Product Fetch Returns Empty Array in React Native iOS App
We're experiencing an issue with in-app purchases in our React Native iOS app where RNIap.getProducts() is consistently returning an empty array, preventing users from making purchases. Technical Details: Using react-native-iap library Product ID: '[REDACTED]' Platform: iOS Product Type: Consumable (one-time payment, NOT subscription) Error in logs: "No products returned from App Store. Check App Store Connect." Debugging shows: Products Fetched: [] Steps to Reproduce: Open app and navigate to the quiz feature Attempt to purchase additional quiz attempts Modal opens but fails to load product information What We've Confirmed: IAP Connection initializes successfully No error is thrown during product fetch, just an empty array returned App is configured with correct Bundle ID Using Apple Sandbox test account We are implementing consumable purchases (one-time payments) Potential Issues to Investigate: Product configuration in App Store Connect Ensure product is set as "Consumable" type in App Store Connect Sandbox tester account permissions/activation Bundle ID matching between app and App Store Connect Product ID case sensitivity or typos

SKAN / AdAttributionKit Development Postback Not Triggering
We’re testing SKAN postbacks via AdAttributionKit but aren’t receiving any requests on our server even after generating development impressions and triggering a postback. Setup: Domain: https://linkrunner-skan.com Configured in Info.plist as: <key>NSAdvertisingAttributionReportEndpoint</key> <string>https://linkrunner-skan.com</string> <key>AttributionCopyEndpoint</key> <string>https://linkrunner-skan.com</string> Apple automatically appends the .well-known paths: /.well-known/private-click-measurement/report-attribution/ /.well-known/skadnetwork/report-attribution/ ATS diagnostics for the domain: PASS for all tests (TLS 1.0–1.3, PFS disabled, arbitrary loads allowed, etc.) Both .well-known paths are publicly accessible and return 200 OK Testing Flow: Enabled Developer → AdAttributionKit Developer Mode on iOS (15+) Followed Apple’s official guide: Testing AdAttributionKit with Developer Mode Generated test impression using: createAdAttributionKitDevelopmentImpression implemented in SKANManager.swift Called Postback.updateConversionValue with lockPostback: true Created Development Postback from Developer Settings Waited 30+ minutes while intercepting server requests (proxy + backend logs) What We’ve Tried So Far: Confirmed ATS compliance with nscurl --ats-diagnostics (all PASS) Verified .well-known paths are accessible publicly without redirects Tested endpoints manually with a POST request – server responds 200 OK Confirmed Info.plist entries exactly match Apple’s required keys Double-checked iOS device is running iOS 15+ with Developer Mode enabled Repeated test flow multiple times with fresh impressions and postbacks Waited up to 1 hour for postback (in case of delays) Issue: No POST requests are being received from Apple to either .well-known endpoint, even though the setup appears correct and ATS tests pass. References Used: Configuring an Advertised App Generating JWS Impressions Question: Has anyone faced a similar issue where AdAttributionKit Development Postbacks are not firing despite correct Info.plist setup, ATS compliance, and reachable .well-known endpoints? Any insight into possible missing configuration steps or testing nuances would be greatly appreciated.

SubscriptionStoreView Localization Error
Hello! The localization isn't working when using SubscriptionStoreView. The app hasn't been published yet. The subscription has been created and localization strings have been added. Status - ready to submit. Testing environment: Sandbox When calling SubscriptionStoreView, the debug console shows this error: GenerativeModelsAvailability.Parameters: Initialized with invalid language code: ru-RU. Expected to receive two-letter ISO 639 code. e.g. 'zh' or 'en'. Falling back to: ru Despite this, the subscription interface appears in English when Russian is expected. I don't use any locale setting for ru-RU anywhere in my code. The test device's region is set to Russia, and the language is Russian. Any help would be appreciated.

Why can't the app get the subscription status occasionally?
Hi, I have developed an app which has two in-app purchase subscriptions. During the test, the app can successfully get the status of the subscriptions. After it's released, I downloaded it from app store and subscribed it with my apple account. I found that in most cases, the app can identify that I have subscribed it and I can use its all functions. But yesterday, when I launched it again, it showed the warning that I haven't subscribed it. I checked my subscription in my account and the subscription status hasn't been changed, that is, I have subscribed it. And after one hour, I launched it again. This time the app identified that I have subscribed it. Why? The following is the code about listening to the subscription status. Is there any wrong about it? HomeView() .onAppear(){ Task { await getSubscriptionStatus() } } func getSubscriptionStatus() async { var storeProducts = [Product]() do { let productIds = ["6740017137","6740017138"] storeProducts = try await Product.products(for: productIds) } catch { print("Failed product request: \(error)") } guard let subscription1 = storeProducts.first?.subscription else { // Not a subscription return } do { let statuses = try await subscription1.status for status in statuses { let info = try checkVerified(status.renewalInfo) switch status.state { case .subscribed: if info.willAutoRenew { purchaseStatus1 = true debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription is active.") } else { purchaseStatus1 = false debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription is expiring.") } case .inBillingRetryPeriod: debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription is in billing retry period.") purchaseStatus1 = false case .inGracePeriod: debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription is in grace period.") purchaseStatus1 = false case .expired: debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription is expired.") purchaseStatus1 = false case .revoked: debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription was revoked.") purchaseStatus1 = false default: fatalError("getSubscriptionStatus WARNING STATE NOT CONSIDERED.") } } } catch { // do nothing } guard let subscription2 = storeProducts.last?.subscription else { // Not a subscription return } do { let statuses = try await subscription2.status for status in statuses { let info = try checkVerified(status.renewalInfo) switch status.state { case .subscribed: if info.willAutoRenew { purchaseStatus2 = true debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription is active.") } else { purchaseStatus2 = false debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription is expiring.") } case .inBillingRetryPeriod: debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription is in billing retry period.") purchaseStatus2 = false case .inGracePeriod: debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription is in grace period.") purchaseStatus2 = false case .expired: debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription is expired.") purchaseStatus2 = false case .revoked: debugPrint("getSubscriptionStatus user subscription was revoked.") purchaseStatus2 = false default: fatalError("getSubscriptionStatus WARNING STATE NOT CONSIDERED.") } } } catch { // do nothing } if purchaseStatus1 == true || purchaseStatus2 == true { purchaseStatus = true } else if purchaseStatus1 == false && purchaseStatus2 == false { purchaseStatus = false } return }

Can StoreKit products be observed with ObservableObject? Can I get notified when a users subscription has lapsed without polling Transaction.currentEntitlements?
I have an auto-renewable subscription. I have two methods helping me keep track of when they are expired @MainActor public func isPurchased(product: Product) async -> Bool { guard let state = await product.currentEntitlement else { return false } switch state { case .unverified(_, _): return false case .verified(let transaction): await transaction.finish() return isTransactionRelevant(transaction) } } private func isTransactionRelevant(_ transaction: Transaction) -> Bool { if let revocationDate = transaction.revocationDate { logger.error("Transaction verification failed: Transaction was revoked on \(revocationDate)") return false } if let expirationDate = transaction.expirationDate, expirationDate < Date() { logger.error("Transaction verification failed: Transaction expired on \(expirationDate)") return false } if transaction.isUpgraded { logger.error("Transaction verification failed: Transaction was upgraded") return false } logger.info("Transaction verification succeeded") return true } I also have this that I can call to get the latest state of purchases @MainActor public func updateStoreKitSubscriptionStatus() async { var currentProductsPurchased: [Product] = [] for await result in Transaction.currentEntitlements { if case .verified(let transaction) = result { if isTransactionRelevant(transaction) { if let product = products.first( where: { $0.id == transaction.productID }) { currentProductsPurchased.append(product) } } await transaction.finish() } } self.purchasedProducts = currentProductsPurchased } Right now when a subscription expires the user needs to manually do some action that triggers updateStoreKitSubscriptionStatus() as it appears that expirations do not come through in Transaction.updates. I am surprised there does not seem to be a better way. Does StoreKit not notify you somewhere that an auto-renewable subscription has expired? Can you observe it in an ObservableObject? Or do I need to just frequently poll Transaction.currentEntitlements even if I dont expect frequent updates?

Regarding the pattern of multiple original transaction IDs being linked
In the app we're distributing, we've identified a user where the Get All Subscription Statuses API returns two original transaction IDs in the data response. This user has gone through cancellations and re-subscriptions since their initial purchase. Meanwhile, despite maintaining a continuous subscription, a notification suddenly arrives on the renewal date with original_transaction_id2. +---------------------------+---------------------------+---------------------+ | original_transaction_id | notification_type | subtype | +---------------------------+---------------------------+---------------------+ | original_transaction_id1 | SUBSCRIBED | INITIAL_BUY | ~ Repeated cancellations and re-subscriptions ~ | original_transaction_id1 | SUBSCRIBED | RESUBSCRIBE | | original_transaction_id2 | SUBSCRIBED | INITIAL_BUY | +---------------------------+---------------------------+---------------------+ Although it can be inferred from the interface definition of the API itself that multiple original transaction IDs may be returned, what causes multiple original transaction IDs to be returned? Furthermore, is it possible to reproduce the case where multiple original transaction IDs are returned in the sandbox environment provided by Apple? As for this app, it: Uses subscriptions through in-app purchases. Does not offer upgrades, downgrades, or crossgrades, having only one product. Has never undergone price increases or decreases. Is distributed exclusively in Japan.

Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness
Apple review says , my app displayed an error when we attempted to purchase subscriptions. Please review the details and resources below and complete the next steps. Device type: iPad Air (5th generation) OS version: iPadOS 26.0.1 Next Steps When validating receipts on your server, your server needs to be able to handle a production-signed app getting its receipts from Apple’s test environment. The recommended approach is for your production server to always validate receipts against the production App Store first. If validation fails with the error code "Sandbox receipt used in production," you should validate against the test environment instead. Question: Is it due to Device being used by reviewer or is it really from my code. As my code relies on Apple infrastructure for purchases and all things. Initially i did had subscription reporting api for receipt handling and all. When i went through with ChatGPT it did say that issue is due to half baked subscription module on my server. So i decided not to send any Subscription related things to backend, now it's Apple only and on App side. Is it correct fix ? Or do i need to fix backend even though i have no use for it ? My team did test in sandbox env via internal testing that time we had no issues. And all was tested using Mobile devices, that's why i still have question just to be sure these errors are due to devices or not? Screenshot shared by Apple team did show they got a error popup saying Something went wrong : Unable to complete request. I am trying to reproduce in development but can't. Anyone had got same issue before and has information on how to resolve and test for it will be helpful. Thanks Shikhar Sahu
