sandbox account isn't logging in on purchase window
I don't know if I am posting this in the right place. I am using xcode's phone simulator and I have setup my sandbox account on appstoreconnect under users and access/sandbox/test accounts then in my app on the simulator when I tap the subscribe button to purchase my product the a window pops up for in app purchases and I get a login prompt for my sandbox credentials, but no matter how many times I enter them after tapping ok all I get is a blank login prompt. also not this a brand new sandbox account and I've only changed the password 3 times, that seems to be important because its inconsistent with some of the errors I am getting on the error log here is error log. About review app and subscription
When submitting an app for review, will any unreviewed auto-renewing subscriptions within the app be reviewed simultaneously? I own an app that has passed review and offers an auto-renewing subscription A within the app that has also passed review. To test a new service, I plan to create a new auto-renewing subscription B, which I do not intend to submit for review. After creating Subscription B, I plan to submit the app for review as part of an app update. In that case, is there a possibility that Subscription B will also be reviewed?

While no similar issues have been reported by users of other credit card providers integrated with Apple Pay, the problem appears isolated to AlipayHK transactions. Key Details: Multiple users confirm being charged twice for single transactions. Complaints are increasing in frequency, indicating a potential systemic issue. No overlapping reports from non-AlipayHK payment methods at this time. To safeguard customer trust and ensure seamless payment experiences, we kindly request Apple’s support in: Investigating whether the root cause stems from Apple Pay’s transaction handling. To receive server notifications from the App Store, follow the instructions in Enabling App Store Server Notifications. If your server doesn’t receive any notifications, check your server logs for any incoming web request issues, and confirm that your server supports the Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 protocol or later. If you implement version 2 of App Store Server Notifications, call the Get Notification History endpoint. If there is an issue sending a notification, the endpoint returns the error the App Store received from your server. If your issue persists, submit a Feedback Assistant report with the following information: The bundleId or appAppleId of your app The date and time your issue occurred The raw HTTP body of your notification The affected transactionId(s) if applicable The version of App Store Server Notifications (i.e., Version 1 or Version 2) The environment (i.e., Production or Sandbox) To submit the report, perform these steps: Log into Feedback Assistant. Problem with Family sharing on live build.
Hello, Our app supports family sharing skus, we successfully ran tests on family sharing features in sandbox, we noticed the feature does not work on live builds. The family member (child account) do see the subscription as "Shared with you". We attempted to restore multiple time and there is nothing to restore.

Download ID in AppTransaction
Hello, I would like to draw your attention to the following imperfection. For validating purchases of my paid application Guru Maps Pro, I use the download id. This is a unique ID that can replace the Transaction ID for paid applications. However, with the release of the new AppTransaction API, this field is no longer present in the data. I tried parsing the receipt, but that field is absent there as well. The only way to obtain the download id is to send the receipt to the deprecated /verifyReceipt endpoint. This deprecated status concerns me, because at some point it might stop working. Let me explain a little about why I need this. My users have a guru-account, which they can use both in the web version and on Android. When a user purchases the paid version of the application, they can access the paid features on both web and Android. This works great for in-app purchases, where there is a transaction ID, but it may soon stop working for paid applications because there is no way to determine any ID associated with the purchase. Transaction ID or Download ID – I don't mind which.

Conversion tracking with the SKAN
Hello all, We developed an iOS app which we started advertising now. In our iOS app we already implemented the updatePostbackConversionValue(_:completionHandler:) to send in-app events in increasing numbers (first open -> 1, lead ->2, conversion -> 3). From our understanding this should be enough for alle ad networks (Apple Ads, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads and Reddit Ads) to receive those numbers - at least they receive the app installs from the SKAN already. Is this correct or do we miss something here in the integration? We currently really struggle to assure that everything is working and we do not see any conversions coming in - even though two weeks of advertising have passed already. No notification on declined pending transaction
I'm working on adding a single Non-Consumable In-App purchase to my app. Essentially a "try before you buy" type thing. Limited functionality unless the app is purchased. I am currently testing this using Xcode and the Manage StoreKit Transactions window. So far most everything appears to be working except for declined pending transactions. If I set Ask to Buy to Enabled, the Ask Permission (for parent or guardian) dialog appears. After pressing the Ask button, I see a transaction listed as Pending Approval. If I Approve the transaction, then my app is notified and all is well. However, if I Decline the transaction then my app is not notified. Is that normal? Also, how do I (i.e. the app) know that there is a pending transaction?

Issue in storekit purchase and sandbox IAP testing

StoreKit2 Subscription Verification
My question is simple, I do not have much experience in writing swift code, I am only doing it to create a small executable that I can call from my python application which completes Subcription Management. I've been stuck with this rejection. Trial button 'greyed out' or non responsive. What they are seeing is my subscriptions not loading into the pay wall. We think its because the subscriptions haven't been reviewed and approved in order for them to populate the pay wall (activating the pay wall so it isn't 'greyed out'. Has anyone had and solved this issue?

Sandbox Testing Issue: 'Submit for Review' Button Missing for Subscription IAPSubmit
Hello Developers! I am trying to run a test In-App Purchase (IAP) for a renewable subscription product in the sandbox environment. I have set up everything required for sandbox testing, but it’s unclear whether the subscription product needs to be pre-approved by Apple for testing. If approval is required, I have already added the necessary metadata, but the status still shows "Ready for Submit." Additionally, when I save the page, a "Submit for Review" button briefly appears for a fraction of a second on the subscription page before disappearing. Is this button missing, or is there a known issue with this process? This is my first time running this test, and I would appreciate any pointers or suggestions. Thanks!

User authentication is required to purchase product B. During the authentication process, the user needs to enter the Apple account and Apple account password. App Store Receipt Availability After Pre-order Install and Future Deprecation Concerns
Hi Apple Developer Team, I'm looking to confirm some technical details regarding the pre-order flow and App Store receipt handling. Specifically, I have the following questions: Q1: After a user installs an app via pre-order and launches it for the first time, will a valid App Store receipt be available immediately via [[NSBundle mainBundle] appStoreReceiptURL]? Are there any known cases where the receipt might be missing or invalid, requiring a manual refresh (e.g., via SKReceiptRefreshRequest)? Q2: Is the pre-order flow currently supported in the sandbox environment? Receipt and Notification behavior after "Remove from Sale"
What is the expected behavior for App Receipts and ASSN v2 notifications when a subscription is set to "Remove from Sale"? I tried to test this in Sandbox, but the "Remove from Sale" setting in App Store Connect doesn't seem to affect the Sandbox environment. For existing subscribers, what happens in the receipt? Does auto_renew_status change to 0 and is expiration_intent populated immediately? Also, which notificationType is sent via ASSN v2?

InApp purchases ok and ko at the same time (?!)
I'm working on an app the has implemented inapp purchases. They have been working so far, and they keep working currently. But just a couple of days ago, a specific user sent us a support ticket stating that when he purchases and item the bank charges it for the purchase, but within the app, the purchase fails and he doesn't receive the item. He sent us screenshots showing: The iOS native modal when a purchases has been finished correctly ("You're all set - Your purchase was successful "). Right after that modal, the app shows an internal modal showing "The purchase failed, please, try again later". Checking the app logs, that failure modal was triggered by "The operation couldn’t be completed. (StoreKit.StoreKitError error 1.)". Reading docs about this error leads me to think about device or user restrictions (parental controls, usage limits, etc...). It seems that in theses cases the bank charge could be issued but refunded later once Apple ultimately declines the purchase. However the user says that he doesn't have any kind of restriction. The only related thing is a "this device is also restricted by a profile" message, but everyone seems to have this message. What could it be causing this issue? In what scenariowould the app show a native OK modal but a storekit error 1? I'm pretty sure the app is well configured because I keep receiving purchases of all kind, from different users with any problem.

How to test "Remove from Sale" for subscriptions in Sandbox?
I want to test the "Remove from Sale" scenario in Sandbox. I set my subscription to "Remove from Sale" for all territories in App Store Connect, but I can still make new purchases and auto-renewals continue in the Sandbox environment. Is this a known limitation? Or is there a specific way to make this work for testing? If it can't be tested, I'd like to know the expected production behavior. What changes occur in the App Receipt and what App Store Server Notification is sent?

Potential Issue Identified in Apple Documentation
While reviewing the Apple Documentation, I came across a potential issue in one of the examples that I believe is worth addressing. The example appears to compare strings instead of integers, which could lead to unexpected behavior in production environments. Specifically, in the line where originalMajorVersion (a string) is compared with newBusinessModelMajorVersion (also a string) using <: if originalMajorVersion < newBusinessModelMajorVersion This comparison performs a lexicographical check rather than evaluating the numerical values of the strings. As a result, strings like "10" would incorrectly be considered less than "2", which is not the desired behaviour when comparing version numbers.
