Paid Apple Developer Program Membership Still Pending — Apple Charged $99, Yet My Account Still Says “Purchase Your Membership”

I am posting this to document an unresolved Apple Developer Program membership issue and to ask whether other developers have experienced the same sequence of events. I purchased a one-year Apple Developer Program membership on September 11, 2026. Apple subsequently issued an invoice for the Apple Developer Program, showing: Web Order Number: D005219917 Invoice Number: MD05520082 Amount charged: USD 99.00 Amount Due: USD 0.00 Despite this, my Developer account still shows: “Mahmoud Elboraey (Pending)” More concerningly, the same account continues to display: “Purchase your membership.” “To continue your enrollment, complete your purchase now.” The page itself states: “Your purchase may take up to 48 hours to process.” That stated processing period expired many days ago. I contacted Apple Developer Support regarding this unresolved paid transaction and received Case ID 102968582713. Apple acknowledged receiving my original support request. After receiving no substantive explanation or resolution, I sent a formal follow-up under the same case number, and Apple again confirmed receipt. I then allowed additional time for Apple to respond. As of September 21, 2026, the membership remains Pending, the account still instructs me to purchase the membership, and I have received no substantive explanation or resolution. For clarity, another acknowledgment stating “Thank you for contacting us” or simply confirming that the case is being reviewed would not constitute a substantive response to the issue described above. I am asking for an actual explanation and resolution of the paid transaction. To be clear, I have not attempted a second purchase. I do not believe a customer who already has an Apple invoice confirming a $99 charge and a $0 balance due should have to risk making another payment simply because the enrollment interface continues to display an instruction to purchase the membership. I am not speculating about the cause of the problem or anyone’s intentions. I am documenting the facts visible in Apple’s own invoice, Developer account interface, and support correspondence. At this point, the documented sequence is straightforward: Apple charged for the membership. Apple issued the invoice. The stated 48-hour processing period expired. The membership remains Pending. The interface still asks me to purchase the membership. Support acknowledged both my case and my follow-up, but no substantive resolution has been provided. I would therefore appreciate a substantive response from Apple Developer Support addressing: Why the paid membership has not been activated. Why my account continues to display “Purchase your membership” after Apple has already charged and invoiced the membership. Written confirmation that no additional payment is required. When and how this paid transaction will finally be resolved. I have retained the invoice, payment documentation, screenshots showing the Pending status and purchase prompt, support acknowledgments, formal follow-up, and the complete chronology of the matter. If other developers have experienced this same sequence — payment charged, invoice issued, membership remaining Pending, purchase prompt continuing to appear, and delayed support resolution — I would be interested in hearing when it happened, how long it lasted, what response was received from Apple, and how it was ultimately resolved. I will update this post if Apple resolves the matter.
