TestFlight does not allow to add Existing Internal testing group to the build

Do you have any workaround for this? I'm experiencing the same issue.

I uploaded two builds to App Store Connect, and both show "Ready to Test" in TestFlight. However, the builds are not appearing in the TestFlight app.

Same problem since this morning. App uploaded to TestFlight internal worked, but can't add automatic group, so I create a manual one, now I can add it but it won't show in TestFlight either. I even upload a new build, same thing. Everything worked fine before this. Its been like this since this morning around 12 hours ago.

Hi there, it's possible that you have set up automatic distribution for your internal test groups so these groups already have access to the new builds so they are unclickable, can you please verify these groups have access to your latest builds via TestFlight. If not, can you please file a ticket via Feedback Assistant so we can investigate this.

I'm having the same issue suddenly. I've been testing with the same internal group for months. Just uploaded a new testflight this morning and it was fine. But the latest I just uploaded says it's ready for internal testing. but it doesn't show up. and in app store connect, in the testflight build, the internal test group assigned to all prior builds is grayed out and won't let me add it.

I am having this same issue currently, my work around was to create a second "external" group and add my internal testers there. That required me first to expire my builds for my internal testers which was annoying.

Related or unrelated but at the same time that was happening, my build that is uploaded to App Store Connect, showing a status of "Testing" and uploaded at 3:45 am this morning, is unavailable in TestFlight on my iPhone (despite my having an invite). Judging by my usage today, my users haven't received the updated build either.

We are still affected. Our new build 2.0 (7) cannot be distributed to existing internal testers. The existing Internal Testing group was not automatically assigned to the build, and creating a new manual group did not help.

When trying to add an existing tester directly to build 2.0 (7), App Store Connect returns: “An error has occurred. Try again later.”

The build is still not available in the TestFlight app.

Is there any ETA or workaround available?
