Add an app icon

An app icon serves as the representation of your app, and it appears on the Home Screen and in key locations throughout the system, including search results, notifications, system settings, share sheets, and TestFlight. You can create your app icon using Icon Composer or add your app icon to an asset catalog within your Xcode project. After adding icons in Xcode, upload the build to App Store Connect.

If you want to change your app icon after publishing, you must create and upload a new version of your app. Then, submit it for review.
