Material showing only half?
Hi, I'm currently implementing 180° / 360° property for immersive video in my app. I was able to implement 360° easily by just giving VideoMaterial to flipped sphere. However, I'm bit stuck at 180°. I want to implement by setting VideoMaterial to hemisphere mesh. But since RealityKit doesn't provide default function such like MeshResource.generateHemisphere yet, I just want to apply VideoMaterial half front visible, and half back transparent. I thought this would make my sphere looks like hemisphere. But I can't find my way to implement this method.. I would appreciate any advice / idea / information that might help.

PhotogrammetrySession Polygon Count Limit – How Is It Determined by Hardware?
Hi Apple Team, I’m working on a human portrait scanning application using PhotogrammetrySession, and I’ve been very impressed by the results. Thank you for building such a powerful and accessible photogrammetry solution into macOS! I do, however, have a question regarding mesh detail limitations on different Mac hardware configurations. When using PhotogrammetrySession.Request.Detail.custom and trying to set maximumPolygonCount = 1000000, I see the following log message: Clamped max poly count: 1000000 to device limit. 250000 is used. This is on an M1 Max with 32 GB RAM. I’m aware that PhotogrammetrySession.limits can report values like maximumInputImageDimension and maximumNumberOfInputImages, but I haven’t found documentation on how the maximumPolygonCount is determined, and what hardware specs influence it. Is it tied more to: • GPU performance (e.g. neural/graphics cores)? • CPU architecture? • Memory size or bandwidth? • Or is it fixed per SoC generation? I’d love to understand what kind of hardware upgrades (e.g. moving to M4 Pro or increasing RAM) could allow me to increase mesh complexity and generate more detailed models. Any insights would be greatly appreciated—and if this is covered in upcoming WWDC sessions or documentation, I’d be happy to tune in. Thanks in advance! KitCheng

How to get the transform of the joint in a skeleton when it is Animating
I have an entity that was created using Mixamo, and it has an animation. after the animation completes the mesh of the robot is not where the entity is positioned. I want to do something like when the animation finishes, I set the root entity's transform to the mesh's transform. There are no transformations applied to any of the children of this root of the model, which means that the transformations are applied to the skeleton due the the playing of animations. Is there a way where I can apply the final position of the root of the skeleton to the root entity to make sure to position the entity where the animation has ended just before the next animation plays?

The participantIdentifier of Shared Coordinate Space invalid in Visionos26 Enterprise api
Visionos26 Enterprise api has the new feature: Shared Coordinate Space, participants exchange their coordinate data by SharedCoordinateSpaceProvider through their own network, when shared coordinate space established with nearby participants, the event: connectedParticipantIdentifiers(participants: [UUID]) will be received. But the Event.participantIdentifier still be an invalid default value(00000000-0000-0000-FFFF-FFFFFFFF) in this time, I wonder when or how I can get a valid event.participantIdentifier, or is there some other way to get the local participantIdentifier? Or If it's a bug, please fix it in later beta release version, thank you.

white gap between objects in RealityView
I want to display a huge image in RealityView in 3d space on Vision Pro. of course instead of one giant file I'm using a lot of big images. to achieve this, I'm generating multiple planes exactly beside each others and put each image on them. although the planes are exactly beside each others but there is still a white gap between them.(image below) **Does anybody know how to fix this issue? **

Eye tracking data access for researchers in the medical field
Hello, esteemed tech developer. I am using the Apple Vision Pro to create an AR assist system about the da Vinci Surgical Robot in a medical surgical suite, and would like to capture eye movement data with tester uniformity. Although the Apple Vision Pro has a superb infrared sensor to monitor eye movement status, Apple does not seem to have open access officially. How to Achieve Realistic Colors and Textures in LiDAR Scanning with Swift
Hello, I'm developing a LiDAR-based scanning app using Swift, where I can successfully perform scans and export the results as .obj files. My goal is to have the scan's colors and textures closely resemble real-world visuals as captured by the camera, similar to the results shown in this repository. In the referenced repository, the result is demonstrated with a single screenshot, but I want to display the textures and colors throughout the entire scanning process, not just at the final result. To clarify, I'm not focused on scanning individual objects but rather larger environments like rooms, houses, or outdoor spaces such as streets. Here’s what I’m aiming for: Realistic colors and textures that match what the camera sees during the scan. Continuous texture rendering during the scanning process, not just in the final exported model. Could anyone share guidance, sample code, or point me to relevant documentation to achieve this? Please provide access to face tracking blendshapes on vision os
Apple, please provide access to face tracking blend shapes on vision os, just like you do on iOS. You have the best eye and face tracking implementation on the market, please let us use it. There is a sizable audience who will buy the headset just for it. I personally know multiple people who are not buying the headset simply because you locked those features out. No raw camera access is needed, just abstracted blendshapes values. You will make the headset so much more useful if you do this simple thing.

Can not remove final World Anchor
I’ve been having some issues removing anchors. I can add anchors with no issue. They will be there the next time I run the scene. I can also get updates when ARKit sends them. I can remove anchors, but not all the time. The method I’m using is to call removeAnchor() on the data provider. worldTracking.removeAnchor(forID: uuid) // Yes, I have also tried `removeAnchor(_ worldAnchor: WorldAnchor)` This works if there are more than one anchor in a scene. When I’m down to one remaining anchor, I can remove it. It seems to succeed (does not raise an error) but the next time I run the scene the removed anchor is back. Independent gestures for multiple entities in RealityView
Hi, I'm developing an app for the Apple Vision Pro. Inside the app the user should be able to load objects from the web into the scene and then be able to move them around (dragging and rotating) via gestures. My question: I'm working with RealityKit and use RealityView.. I have no issues loading in one object and making it interactive by adding gestures to the entire RealityView via the .gestures() function. Also I succeeded in loading multiple objects into the scene. My problem is that I can't figure out how to add my gestures to multiple objects independently. I can't use Reality composer since I'm loading the objects dynamically into the scene. Using .gestures() doesn't work for multiple objects since every gesture needs to be targeted to a specific entity but I have multiple entities. I also tried defining a GestureComponent and adding it to every newly loaded entity but that doesn't seem to work as nothing happens, even though my gesture is targeted to every entity having my GestureComponent. I only found solutions that are not usable on Visionos / RealityView like installGestures. Also I tried following this guide: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/realitykit/transforming-realitykit-entities-with-gestures But I feel like there are things missing and contradictory, like a extension of RealityView is mentioned but not shown and the guide states that we don't need to store the translation values for every entity and therefore creates a EntityGestureState.swift file to store these values but then it's not used and a GestureStateComponent is used instead that was never mentioned and contradicts what was just said about not storing values per entity because a new instance of it is created for every entity. Nevermind, following the guide didn't lead me to a working solution.

System issues encountered when developing VisionOS related programs using Unity
Using Unity to develop VisionOS program, pressing the right knob of VisionPro during use will exit the Unity space and destroy the model in the space. The model in the space has been disconnected from the SwiftUI interface. After clicking the right knob, return to the system main interface, and then click the right knob again to return to the inside of the program. However, Unity space cannot be restored, and calling the discisWindow method on the SwiftUI interface has no effect, so the interface cannot be destroyed. Is there any solution??
