All transactions are signed and sent directly through the app with explicit user permission. Additionally, there's an issue with min apps where users can access the functionality via a browser to interact with the service. This feature has been part of my old application and hasn't changed in the new update. It’s the same functionality as used by popular wallets like Metamask Uniswap Coinbase Which also employ web3 technology. Over the past two weeks, I've tried to communicate with Apple's support team but have been ignored or received only generic rejection emails. This has left me frustrated and concerned about the time and resources I’ve invested in developing and supporting this app. Could you please help me find a solution? Environment • OS / Safari: macOS 15.0.1 (Sequoia), Safari 18.x • Distribution: Signed, notarized, stapled PKG installs a host app that contains a Safari App Extension • Management: No MDM allowed (and thus no supervision) • Goal: Have the extension come up enabled immediately after install, without requiring the user to click the checkbox in Safari Settings ▸ Extensions What we already know / tried Normal install flow – After PKG install, the extension shows up disabled. User must check the box to enable. SFSafariApplication.showPreferencesForExtension(...) – We can deep‑link the user to our row, but they still need to click “Enable.” Accessibility/UI scripting – We can script the click if the user grants our helper Accessibility permission. That still involves user interaction. .mobileconfig with Safari Extensions Management (AlwaysOn) – From what I can tell, this requires a supervised device enrolled in MDM. Installing that profile manually on an unsupervised Mac does not enforce the “AlwaysOn” state. Auth rights / Developer mode – Looked at auth.db rights like com.apple.Safari.allow-unsigned-app-extensions, and the Develop menu “Allow Unsigned Extensions.” Neither appears to auto‑enable a signed extension, and we don’t want to use private/unsupported APIs anyway. When the “Use Strong Password?” dialog appears and I select “Not Now” to manually enter my own password, the password I type is displayed in plain text instead of being masked. Since the input field is of type="password", the entered characters should be hidden as is standard for password inputs. Is there a way to prevent this behavior and ensure that the password is properly hidden even after dismissing the strong password suggestion dialog?

I have a website that has been built in Wordpress and hosted on wordpress engine. In testing now and on the i phone with safari browser it keeps crashing after short time 2/3 minutes, content does not display properly pages go blank etc. Has anyone experienced this /have a solution? Thanks

Hello, We are setting up Apple Sign In in one of our non production websites but we keep getting a "oauth code says expired or revoked" error. We have created a brand new service ID and key for this but are still getting this error.

I have multiple web views of the same domain that share the same local storage, as expected. One of them though, is loading a .webarchive file. The web archive is of the same domain, and is loaded using the same base URL. For some reason, in most cases, the local storage is not shared with this web view when loading the web archive, although if I make that same web view load the actual live web page it does share local storage. I say in most cases, because for some users it works as expected, but for a significant portion of users it isn't sharing local storage. I think that the main difference between working and not is iOS version. iOS 17 seems to be able to share the local storage but iOS 18 does not. I can't find anything related in the release notes of iOS 18 versions. There is nothing in the documentation for load(_:mimeType:characterEncodingName:baseURL:), or the header file, that explains anything specific about local storage and webarchive loading. Does anyone know for sure how local storage is handled when a webarchive is loaded into a web view, and did something change with iOS 18 in regards to this?

Clicking the link to Site B results in a spinning wheel, but the site does not load. This issue is not present when the app is built with Xcode 15.0.1. Additionally: Users are connected to a VPN, which is required to access the sites. Site A and Site B are on different domains (cross-domain request). Expected Behavior: Clicking the link to Site B should successfully load the site with user information passed from Site A. Current Behavior: Clicking the link results in a spinning wheel, but Site B does not load inside WKWebView. Technical Details: Both Site A and Site B use HTTP (not HTTPS). Site A and Site B have different domains (cross-domain request). Do not use location.href for transitions. Instead, we temporarily set about:blank in an iframe and then submit data via a form to the target system’s URL within the iframe. Hello, When I view my website (lasaluade) on iphone or ipad the top of my page bodies are cut off (3-4 first lines). However, on PC, Mac or Android everything is OK (see screenshots). For the record, I built this site with Wordpress and Divi Builder, and I've the same result on Safari and Chrome. Not being a developer, I don't know where to look (I just think it's iOS-related). I am trying to cache fonts natively in a hybrid app, so that CSS hosted in an https website loaded in WKWebView through loadRequest can reference them like this for a performance boost: @font-face { font-family: 'MyFont'; src: url('my-assets://Gordita-bold-subset.woff') format('woff'); font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; } The problem happens when I register a WKURLSchemeHandler for my-assets. The handler never gets called and the Safari Web Insepctor shows this: [blocked] The page at https://www.x.com/ requested insecure content from my-assets://Gordita-bold-subset.woff. This content was blocked and must be served over HTTPS. Interestingly enough, if we try to serve content with <img src="my-assets://test.png" this restriction does not apply. The client certificate is distributed via MDM and is available in the device keychain, but not accessible directly from the app. When using ASWebAuthenticationSession (or SFSafariViewController) Safari can successfully pick up and present the certificate during authentication, so that part works fine. However, the backend’s authenticate endpoint only supports a POST request with an Authorization header, whereas ASWebAuthenticationSession only accepts a GET URL when starting the session. My questions are: How is this type of flow typically implemented in iOS? Should the backend provide a GET-based endpoint that redirects into the POST, or is there a recommended iOS pattern (e.g., an intermediate HTML page that does the POST after certificate validation)? Are there Apple guidelines on handling certificate-based auth with ASWebAuthenticationSession when the API requires POST, especially for In-House distributed apps? Any guidance or best practices would be very helpful.

So I have web Augmented Reality apps hosted on AWS S3. It worked fine for a month, but as soon as the IOS 18.4 update was installed they stopped working. It works on every other device and IOS versions. The URLs for the mentioned AR experiences: digitechonline.in/solsprefimaginewt8/ digitechonline.in/solsprefimaginewt8p2/ digitechonline.in/orocarear/ These AR experiences get stuck on the loading screen and either reload or give an error. Ideally the camera is supposed to open. I have tested it on Safari, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browsers. They were created through Unity webgl and hosted on AWS S3 bucket.
