Our code is using .lowQualityThumbnail to generate a thumbnail, it stops working when users update to 15.2 . Test it with a regular jpg file for fileURL. The only way to make it work is to change it to .thumnail or remove it. It's not deprecated, is it a MacOS bug? customers don't want to keep updating the software. I have two simple tests initially triggered by a title of a game setting: "Highest score Wins" or rule.hasSuffix("wins."). The code in both cases looks for the highest score and in the latter case checks to see if a target score has been achieved. This work fine. But when I display the final results, the first works fine and the latter fails to display the name; defaulting to the No One Wins - which is incorrect. The issue occurred on a macOS device where nsurlsessiond consumed excessive data (75GB+) while Microsoft Office was installed. No active usage was involved. The issue stopped after uninstalling Office. To reproduce: Install Office, monitor nsurlsessiond via Activity Monitor for high data usage.

I'm developing a workout app with a mirrored workout session. I'm having problems with sessions being out of sync. For example, when the workout is ended, it takes somewhere around a minute or two for it to actually fully end, so if during this time I start a new workout, then the sessions will be out of sync. I am using healthStore.recoverActiveWorkoutSession() to recover the workout session but it doesn't always work very well and in particular in the case when a workout has been manually ended (but ending hasn't completed) it enters an out of sync mode. The reason why this case is happening is because I have an third party sensor connected to this mirrored workout session and if the sensor is out of range or turned off, I end the workout. However, if the person had accidentally gone out of range, they would reconnect to the app and restart the workout as soon as they realize and in that case, when the workout hasn't fully ended, it doesn't recover appropriately. I have spent weeks trying to debug this with no luck so any advice will be appreciated.

However we are running into some issues ourselves, we need to localise the CFBundleDisplayName property for two specific countries: Netherlands Belgium We've tried to use the String catalog and we've added the corresponding languages/regions there: nl-BE (CFBundleDisplayName = x) nl-NL (CFBundleDisplayName = y) However the nl-BE localization does not seem to be used when changing the device language to Dutch (Belgium). It uses the nl-NL (y) value for the CFBundleDisplayName. Is it possible to use CFBundleDisplayName localizations for specific regions that use the same language? such as Belgium and the Netherlands. If not I fear that we need to build two apps...

I am trying to move my home directory to a secondary drive, but I am running into to two issues. When I try to do it via Finder I get the error - The operation can’t be completed because “<my account name>” needs to be downloaded. And when I try to do it via the terminal in recovery mode (after mounting the Data directory), It seems to copy a set of directories within ~/Library/Daemon Containers/. These appear to be snapshots of some sort, which when cp runs, end up taking up the entire drive of the target drive, which is 4 times larger than my base volume. Two questions: Why I am getting the message via finder (and how do I get around it? What is the correct process for moving the home directory to a second drive? Thanks!

Hello! I am new here but could really use some support. For the last year or so I have been bugged by the feeling that my devices were not completely managed by myself. After this week I have seen my computer and devices do things on their own without me touching the keyboard. SO I am hoping someone here can help me get rid or at least get to the root of the problem as I do not know what else I can do! SO far I know they are accessing all my devices remotely but am unsure how they do it since someone times there is no wifi around, I'm thiniking bluetooth maybe or perhaps another form of devices talking and sharing info with each other. When the user selects the app, it begins to scale to screen size but then fades away without fully opening. It is unclear whether this is a crash or another issue.
