However, I understand that the content on this page is mainly about distributing apps and operating the app itself. For example, I believe that simply accessing a web page within the app, or conducting HTTP communications with servers unaffiliated with Apple, will remain possible as before. Is my understanding correct?
That’s my reading of the article as well. However, my advice is that you not rely on such interpretations. Rather, test your app on the iOS 27 beta that we’re currently seeding, and on any new beta seeds as we release them. That has a couple of advantages:
- It’ll give you confidence that you’re interpretation of that article is correct.
- It will flush out any other potential incompatibilities with the upcoming iOS 27.
