Unable to sign into sandbox account on simulator / device hub

Hi,

I am unable to sign into the sandbox account on the simulator.

Settings > Developer > Sandbox Apple Account > Sign in

  • Xcode: 26.6 (17F113)
  • Xcode Simulator: 16.0 (1063.4)

I have even tried on Device Hub on Xcode 27.

I vaguely remember being able to sign into the simulator using

Questions:

  1. Is anyone able to sign into Sandbox account on the simulator / device hub?
  2. Is there any workaround?
  3. Is this a known issue?

For testing in Xcode please use StoreKit Testing in Xcode with simulator.

Sandbox login is supported on physical devices.

Just to clarify do you mean the following:

  • Testing the app on the simulator would require using the StoreKit local configuration file?
  • Testcases would also require using the StoreKit local configuration file?

Can you also please have a look at the following:
