Recently about 7 days ago now I have tuned in to the waitlist for the new Beta Siri Ai, I am trying to make tests and review the software on the 16 pro and 17 pro both together to point out key differences and slight changes with the two, I have been waiting for the update. My phone has already finished indexing days ago but unfortunately still no update to the Siri Ai. Some have stated its a bug but theres different reasons on the web and knowing this is a (Beta) and not full on release it makes sense however I wanted to ask you guys personally on your thoughts as I’m still trying to test these out asap. Unfortunately I’m still on the waiting list..
New (Beta) Siri-Ai
I honestly think there may be more going on than just the waitlist itself.
I'm using an iPhone 17 Pro and I've been dealing with issues related to the new Siri as well. In my case, it appears that the enrollment process has already gone through, but Siri still doesn't activate correctly. Because of that, I'm starting to think there may be multiple issues affecting different users.
Some people seem to get access within a couple of days, others remain on the waitlist for over a week, and then there are users who appear to be enrolled but still can't use the new Siri properly.
Since this is still a beta, I wouldn't be surprised if there are server-side delays, activation bugs, or rollout issues involved. If your phone has already finished indexing and everything else looks normal, I don't think you're necessarily doing anything wrong. It may simply be a matter of Apple gradually enabling access or fixing bugs in future beta updates.
I'd definitely be interested in seeing your comparison between the iPhone 16 Pro and 17 Pro once you get access.
