Local notifications delayed by up to 5 seconds on iOS 27

This issue is still present in iOS 27 beta 2.

When scheduling a local notification, it can be delayed by up to 5 seconds. On iOS 26, the notification appears instantly at the scheduled time.

The bug is being looked into, but it looks like this was a regression caused by additional screening being done for things like intelligent summarization. I'm not sure what (or when) the final resolution will be, but it is being looked into.

This issue is still present in iOS 27 beta 2.

The nature of how the beta seed program works means that it's fairly common for a fix to take 2 or more seeds to appear, even if the fix itself was high priority. Seed builds go through significant testing before they're released, which means testing on the "next" seed often starts near the time we're releasing the current seed. In this case, beta 2 was well into that process before your bug was filed.
